Blaze Pizza - Salad Near Me - Clifton Park, New York

This is our second favorite pizza place in Clifton Park. It's kind of like the chipotle of pizza. Both kids enjoy the pizza. My favorites are the white top pizza and the meat eater pizza. Although the pizzas are single serving they are enough to satisfy. You won't be stuffed though. The location in Clifton Park has been consistently busy. This Saturday there was a line out to the door. The lines are the biggest downfall. If you want to get in and out in a hurry. This is not the place. read more

We found out about this pizza place about 3 or 4 months ago and after the first time, we now order almost weekly. There are literally over 15 places to get pizza in Clifton Park within a 4 mile radius. Many of our pizza shops are great here, but what sets Blaze apart is the quality of the ingredients you choose. We like to get the 11" thin crust pizza's with lots of toppings, and the first things we noticed were that, 1) you can actually TASTE each topping, and 2) there's no nasty bloated feeling after we've had a few slices like you might get with other popular pizzas. No grease, and they also brown the crust perfectly. It just seems to be about as healthy tasting as a pizza can get without it tasting like something other than pizza. You can taste the difference between the jalapenos, the onions, green bell peppers, sausage, mushrooms, the cheese, garlic toppings, cherry tomatoes - quite interesting. By the way, we order online for pickup and have not had one complaint after ordering at least 12 times so far. Highly recommended! read more

Third trip to Blaze Pizza in Clifton Park. This place is amaaazing! I can't understand why or how anyone could say no to a fully customizable pizza. It gets busy here, really busy. People like to confused that with the service being slow but they are entirely wrong. The people here are friendly and inviting and keep their cool under pressure. The pizza is okay but wow, the Arugula & Fresh Fruit Salad seriously needs help. We got it yesterday and this is the third time they included only old, mushy sliced strawberries--nothing fresh about them. Seriously management...look at them and tell me you would want to eat that. The arugula is fresh so why not include grapes (easy) or apples; something seasonal. Also, way too much cheese (and I'm a cheese lover). It's great that you offer interesting salads with pizza - that we like. You do a great disservice to your customers by including borderline rotten fruit. read more

The first time i went here it was ok pizza, and i just got a meatball pizza. the second time i went was today, and i got the same thing, but it was worse. the pizza was so salty. i got two pizzas so it wasn't like one was just salty. i had expectations for this place, but now i'm not eating here. not to mention the lemonade wasn't even good. read more

Blaze pizza was okay the food was good but it took over an hour for just a few pizzas WHAT THE HECK my friends pizzas were stolen because you could walk up to the counter and take anyone's pizzas ‍ if u want ur food on time order it and go to Florida and come back and it will be ready also there was a game table thingey which I thought was cool and there lemonade was delicious also the workers were very nice read more

My daughter has a severe Tree Nut Allergy. The Sunday night crew took it extremely serious and brought out new ingredients so we didn't have to worry about cross contamination. Blaze is our favorite. From the spicy red sauce to choosing all of our toppings to the blood orange lemonade. We love this place and have yet to have a bad experience. I love getting exactly what I want on my pizza and exactly how much I want on my pizza. Sometimes it gets too charred for my liking while cooking but, the pizza is still good. I completely understand the new procedures restaurants are facing during this trying times. But can someone please explain to me - if you place an order online. Why can't you change the crust to Keto or cauliflower!? When you call it in to change the crust they say that it's only for instore purchasing only. Huh!? Do they know that the state is on lockdown from in store dining. Why you can't pickup your order from the store, wouldn't that be the same thing as if you ordered it using their delivery service!? Our family recently went here for dinner upon finding out that they carried vegan cheese. I'm not sure if it's just because the place is pretty new, but wow was this place busy! I must have waited in line for at least 20 minutes before even ordering. When I was ordering, I was initially impressed that they asked if I wanted the staff to change gloves before they made our pizzas as they touch mozzarella cheese and then make vegan pizzas. As we do not have any food allergies in our family, this was not a necessity for us. However, as the pizzas are moving down the line, there is just mozzarella flying everywhere and the line was so messy and covered with all sorts of ingredients. Let me just put it this way, if you have a food allergy, I'd avoid this place. It doesn't matter if they change gloves if they are sliding your whole pizza on a line that is covered with everything. I went from being impressed to being concerned for anyone who has allergies or absolutely cannot have a certain ingredient on their pizza. The pizza was good but hopefully they will increase their staff to cut down on the wait time and keep the line cleaner. read more

Blaze pizza was a letdown we had come here after a swim meet so you would imagine we were starving. The service took forever, we were waiting for over an hour. Not only were our pizzas stolen but some were not even made I'm very sad to say that I would NOT recommend blaze pizza. You can walk up to the counter at any time and take a random pizza. Pizza is good for the price, on par with a 2 slice deal for about the same amount of pizza. We have been here a few times, and it always seems dirty in the eating area. Today we were here a few minutes after opening and there was food crumbs on the tables and pieces of food on the floor. It didn't look like it was cleaned from the previous day. There is a lot of stainless and it always looks dirty, but it is hard to keep clean. I dont know, value for the price is good lm not sure about eating in the dining area though. read more

Stopping here was a last minute decision to grab a small, quick pizza to take home as I would usually order in advance from other local restaurants. Lesson learned - to say the least, there is way better pizza in the Clifton Park area. I ordered the one topping pizza with meatballs to go. The crust was so burnt I couldn't eat it. I scraped the cheese and sauce and meatballs off the top of the crust just to see if I could salvage something from this experience - nope. The meatballs had very little flavor as did the sauce and cheese. While the staff was polite, the food is terrible. At least now I know and I will never go back. read more

This morning I came in and was helped by a young girl with no name tag. When making my pizza she had a very poor attitude and terrible customer service. When i asked for more cheese she rolled her eyes at me and gave me a dirty look. Later when i was checking out i asked the man her name and he said alex. I live in Clifton Park and the last two times I went I was disappointed with the service. A few weeks ago my son and I were in line and the person making our pizzas could not be more rude. I had to ask her name, it was Alex. Not friendly, no smile, rolled her eyes when I said she was putting the wrong meat on my pizza. I thought I deserved better than her bad attitude so I asked to speak to a manager. From the back came out Paul, so I proceeded to tell him what happened and he looked at me like he was not even listening. I felt like he is either used to her behavior or he doesn't think there a anything wrong with it. My family loves the food there so we gave it another try. Unfortunately, there she was again, same attitude, just as rude. Paul was also in the back, I could see him when another employee went to the kitchen and the doors were opened. I am hoping not everyone that works there will have the same response as Paul and maybe do something about this employees attitude towards the customers . read more

The pizza is good here. The staff are very nice, very informative, and try their best to accommodate all requests. If your pizza is cooked too much, let them know and they remake it. The only issue with this location is that they seem rather chronically understaffed. When I first went there were at least four people making pizzas, one taking orders, and a few at the end taking pizzas out of the oven. The most recent time I went, there was only one person making the pizzas and although they did very well and my pizza was great, the lack people showed in how fast the line built up. All in all, good pizza, avoid busy times. read more

Dido to what my co-worker said. I stood their frustrated that no one would even acknowledge us. There was no one there making sure that all customers were being taken care. The staff was slow moving and wouldn't even make eye contact. Your manager should be removed from his position because he is the one that needs to make sure things run smoothly not the employees. There are many large businesses located around you, so you need to figure this out. I'm sure most of your business will be generated from them. read more

If I could give less than one star, that would be a more accurate depiction of my experience. Some coworkers and I placed orders an hour in advance, but when we showed up to pick up our pizzas 10 minutes after scheduled pickup, we were disappointed to find they had not even started our orders. We waited for over 45 minutes while customers came in, ordered ate and left before our orders were started. The employee told us that online orders were not a priority and the management refused to acknowledge - in fact he stood right there and kept his back turned the whole time. On top of the terrible service and lack of respect, when we finally got our food every single order had something missing or wrong. The Vine pizza was swimming in balsamic to the point where it took 3 paper towels to blot it off to make it edible. I tried to call several times but the phone number listed on the website is either wrong, not in service or just off the hook. I will probably never return to this location, which is disappointing because I have heard such good things. read more

We normally love Blaze pizza, but we're disappointed when trying this location. Placed two orders online (husband changed his mind and wanted a pizza after all) when we came to pick up they weren't ready. They weren't even in the oven yet... about 10 minutes later my husbands was ready but my gluten free pizza wasn't in the pickup area. I had to ask about it and was told it was messed up so they were doing it again. There was no rush to get it remade and fired, in fact, 10 minutes later it was still not in the oven. It sat waiting to go in for 2 minutes... I asked for a refund as my husband had been done with his pizza and we were ready to go and no one was apologetic. Even the manager said nothing, just processed the refund. When the pizza finally came out (40 minutes after the time promised) it was undercooked and extremely soggy. I really hope this location gets its act together, no one seems very motivated! read more
