We arrived Sunday at 7pm. Stood in line 40 minutes for the gluten free pizza, only to find out they were out of most crusts. Why not post a sign that's visible ? Why not let the customers know you're out of items? Several people walked out, the service was extremely slow and the guy that took my order looked at me with lost look when I suggested a sign should be posted to notify customers you're out of product. Here are my order: 1x Meat Eater Half 11-inch Pizza + choice of side (Take Two) Substitution Preference:Go with merchant recommendation Choose Your Side: Classic Caesar Add Veggies: Roasted Garlic Add Veggies: Mushrooms Add Veggies: Fresh Basil Add Veggies: Cherry Tomatoes Add Veggies: Black Olives Add Meats: Grilled Chicken Add Meats: Salami Add Meats: Italian Sausage Add Cheese: Parmesan Remove Toppings?: No Crumbled Meatballs Choose Your Dough: High-Rise Dough ($3.50) What was delivered half an hour ago was a half 11" pizza with 4 ingredients only: a lot of jalapenos (10+ pieces), a few pieces of each: Italian sausage, purple onion and olives. There is no High-Rise Dough neither! The pizza is soaky and cold, and I could get much better pizza at the PizzaHut outlets located near Target store entrances. The salad is ok......but it has way too much Parmesan cheese powder, and the dressing is too mild. In conclusion, a very poor pizza delivery at $13.45! This location has let me down 4/5, literally. I've ordered online, in person and thru the Post-mates app. Twice they gave me the wrong order and I don't live close by so imagine how disappointed I was when I arrived home and realized I was given what I didn't order. Ok I probably should've checked my order before leaving, lesson learned. The two other times my order either came out incorrectly or the Post-mates order was accepted and then never made making the driver have to get in line and reorder all over again. The employees all seem to hate their job, I get it customer service isn't the best job out there and maybe adding people's food into the mix doesn't make it any easier but cmon people, common courtesy and throwing in a smile here and there goes a long way. I have not had one instance of burnt pizza, which is nice. Statistically, it would have been likely to happen with how often I've come here already. They're really friendly and upbeat here, and are pretty quick, even when they're packed. The options for toppings are always fresh, and all three sauces are really good, depending on how you may feel one day to the next. They serve a few beers, and have a bottled cider, if you're in the mood for an adult beverage. They also have some baked goods for dessert, too. Their app doesn't function. Like at all. It just freezes and eventually crashes. We tried on two different phones. I had to call, which was whatever. And we asked three times for dressing on the side for our salad. Not only was it already dressed, but the thing was swimming in it. Soggy. Gross. Cold pizza. I called the manager. I want to state that this review is mainly about ordering online. The staff was cooperative and the quality of ingredients are good, which is why I almost gave it two stars instead of one. I placed an order online at 6:30 with a pick up time listed of 7:00. Online it states it takes roughly 11 minutes (with no previous line) to build a pizza, but the ticket system does not print out your ticket until 5 minutes before pickup. I got there at 6:50 to pick up my pizza, and because of their system and the newly added line, my pizza was not done until 7:25. I placed the order with a specific timeline involved because my husband had to run to his second job at 8. On top of the already tardiness, when they called my name to pick up the pizza, the garlic knots I ordered with the pizza were forgotten and not cooked yet. It would have taken another 15 minutes to wait for them, so when I asked for a refund on the knots because I could not wait any longer, they could not give me one because the order was placed online. The manager said I would have to call the corporate number to get a refund. Seeing how upset I was, she offered me a free pizza coupon, again which is why I almost gave them a two star. The moral of this review is, beware of online ordering and the "pick up time"! read more

I love Blaze pizzas, and I usually come to this location because it's the closest from my house, but each time, I walk away with a bad taste in my mouth, not so much from the food, but from poor service. This review summarizes the last few visits. One time, I purchased a fountain soda, but the soda fountain was out of order (which they could've warned me in advance), so when I asked about it, a guy who seemed like the manager told me to just grab a Diet Coke bottle. I like the fountain soda, because I can get ice in my Diet Coke and a refill. I asked, "So, no refill?", then the guys responds with "What do you want? You wanna grab like 5 bottles or something?". So rude. I didn't ask for 5 refills, I just wanted 1, because ice takes up a lot of room, I usually get 1 more cup. I was so put off by that response. Another time I went, I got a Build Your Own with all veggies (which I get all the time), and asked the worker to bake it a little extra toasty (because I do not like my veggies cold and soggy). They said yes. It goes into the oven. No one has informed the person who is cooking the Pizzas that my pizza needed extra attention, so of course, the center comes out lukewarm and soggy. I always have to take my pizza home and bake it again in my oven to get a warm, toasty pizza. Today's visit was another unpleasant experience. The lady making my pizza was so stingy with the toppings, that I had to ask her for a little more veggies, but she would just grab a small little piece of it and break it into even smaller pieces to throw on to the pizza, as she was giving me the look. I don't usually get basil and ovalini cheese (even though I love them), because they come out of pool of water, and even after I ask them to shake off the water, so pizza doesn't get wet, they just grab the basil/ovalini and drip all the water over the pizza as they break them apart. And you can tell she wasn't happy with my request for extra veggies, that she literally tossed my pizza into the oven, spilling some of the veggies on to the oven floor. I was so annoyed by the lack of attention to and consideration for the customer's request, not to mention her attitude. Every time I come to this location, I walk away disappointed with their service. From now on, I will drive a little farther to other locations, so I don't have to deal with such unpleasant employees and their service. read more

I'm used to going to the one in Alhambra but stopped going because they seemed to always burn my crust. My husband suggested we try this one and so we came. The cook, Carlos, did an amazing job. The crust is crisp and not burnt at all!! The pizza artist, Steven, got the toppings just right!! I would not mind driving the extra 15 minutes to come back...as long as they're both on the schedule. Staff is incredible. For a new store I expected the workers to be slow but they were very quick! Was greeted by almost every employee as soon as I walked in. The line is long but moves quick. The managers stand around to delegate rather than sit in the back office. Decor is your typical blaze pizza but has a bit more hipster esque. The food came out I'm about 10 minutes. Plenty of seating on day 1, I'm sure the place will get packed for the next couple of weeks but should die down once the hype is over. There is ample parking on the side and plenty of street parking as well. read more

Took a break but because our bad experience was acknowledged by the owner, we figured they may have worked on improving employees' customer service skills. My husband specifically noted on our order requesting for ranch & jalapeños on the side for both of our pizzas. It's finally open! That space had been abandoned for so long. I suppose that businesses didn't want to inhabit the old Blockbuster space. It is in a really good location with some parking for now. It looks like there are other tenant spaces waiting to be built. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but from the inside, it is pretty spacious. I got my usual build your own pizza with all the various delectable toppings. They have a large variety of vegetables and meats to choose from. I noticed at around 3pm, all the students from neighboring schools started congregating around Blaze, so I'd avoid during that time period. Disclaimer: I'm a vegan and this review is from my plant eating perspective... When you're plant based and you want pizza, good luck finding a personal pizza less than $15. Sometimes your $15-17 personal pizza is still small and disappointing. Sometimes I just want a regular ass pizza like everyone else. But you know, the vegan version. So to be able to build my own pizza for less than $11...especially right now when times are tough...I am so grateful :) Cause after day after day of cooking my own meals in quarantine I just needed a break. Extremely incompetent staff. I asked for napkins, since every single napkin dispenser was EMPTY. I wasn't given any and was told to wait. Why I had to wait I dont understand. Every employee was also sloppily dressed. Backward hats, hair in their face. Not professional AT ALL. One even pulled out his phone while in full view of customers. The food was delicious, but the lack of professionalism was very offputting. I doubt I'll return to this location simply because of the staff. Please management take notice of your employees. I was there today around 12 at noon and encountered horrible customer service. The lady who helped us to set the dough has a horrible attitude and really not friendly. At the topping part, when the other lady started to help us and I accidentally stretched my arm over the counter when I pointed an item to my daughter and she yelled madly and loudly "your hand cannot be over the glass". I realized that's my mistake so I immediately apologized. However, she still kept yelling. Not sure why. It's not that I dropped something or tried to talk back at all. First she shouldn't yell, secondly, I have showed our remorse and she should just let go especially I had my kid with me and her loud yelling scared my girl. She may had a bad day and let out on me but that totally ruined my mood and don't want to come back to this location again. On top of that, that bad attitude started even before the incident. This was a while ago before the pandemic, but I ordered a pizza and when it came, it had a hair in it. It was clearly there that could be seen through the translucent cheese. I brought it back to the counter and the woman there said 'well if there was actually a hair in the pizza, it wouldn't be there because it would have disintegrated because of the high heat the pizza is cooked at'. I seriously kid you not, that's even way more gross. That's insinuating that there's hair in your pizza but you don't care bc you think it's just gonna cook away! I had a problem with my online order recently and had to come in to speak to the manager about, unfortunately the original manager who was supposed to help me refund and fix my order left his position here. I waited two weeks before I decided to come back in and found a new manager, Alejandra, who not only clocked back in, but easily took care of my refund and offered me a free pizza which I very much enjoyed.
