Blazed N Glazed is a new LA restaurant located inside the Colony. They serve specialty teriyaki, stir fry, sesame bowls, and vegan poke. These bowls are LOADED and can fill you up! What I ordered: * Classic Steak Teriyaki Bow: Of course I had to try at least one of the bowls with their signature teriyaki sauce. This classic steak teriyaki bowl was enjoyable and I liked how the steak was cut into small pieces. * Sweet & Spicy Shrimp Bowl: The flavor in this bowl was exquisite. It had the perfect balance of both sweet and spicy. The complementary flavors made this one of my favorites. * Mango Habanero Wings: These wings had the perfect amount of kick to it. Not too spicy with a combination of sweetness. Overall, there were a lot of options to choose from their menu. It filled me up and had leftovers that I later ate for dinner. I definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

Skip it The orange chicken is just fried chicken and they give a trash side of "orange sauce" . I paid 16 dollars for a subpar bowl. I expected a "premium" version or panda express OG bowl but thats def not what i got for that price

Been coming to this location for food options for a while since I live so close by and decided to give this place a try and I am very pleased with it. They are located in the colony which is a new concept where it is a huge kitchen and multiple restaurants operate from it. Ordered the shrimp and orange chicken bowl and wow. My fiancé and I shared both plates and after the shrimp bowl we were full and satisfied but we had to try the orange chicken bowl as well. Both dishes were great size, great portions and very filling. The quality and quantity of the shrimp and the orange chicken was really good. Everything tasted so fresh to me. They were not stingy with their portions either. All meats come in a bowl of white rice and veggies and topped off with your sauce of choice. Got to meet Scott and he was very helpful and helped me order these delicious items and helped me pick out great sauces that complimented the dish very well. Definitely my new go to place when I am craving teriyaki, shrimp or orange chicken bowls!!

Was very good, not the best I've ever had, but no complaints. Took awhile to get our food, but it was the lunch rush

So amazed at Blazed N Glazed on how loaded their bowls are with protein toppings! We got Asian Salad, Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Bowl, and Half Steak Half Chicken marinated in their signature Teriyaki Glaze. Everything tasted wonderful and I would highly recommend this over Flame Broiler, Waba Grill, Yoshinoya, and Panda Express (all that I could think of that are somewhat similar), because there is so much to get in 1 bowl compared to the other places and they were so delicioussss. It's definitely a bang for your buck or whatever the phrase is to say it's worth the money for what you get! Go get some! Their food is located inside the Colony. Parking is not bad either. They have a tiny lot in the back, $1 per hour on the streets, and $1 per hour in another lot.

First time here but not the last! The purple rice bowl was fully loaded with delicious flavors bulgogi & I loved the veggies on top! So filling and delicious! Can't go wrong with delicious wings, so glad I ordered them to go along with the bowl. Bring a friend so you can mix and match and try different things!

I like Colony on Santa Monica Blvd and order frequently from several of their restaurants. Tonight we decided to try a new place there, Blazed and Glazed. Most vendors at Colony allow you to modify orders but not these guys. Their menu is a little unwieldy but that is the same for most Colony restaurants. The descriptions are cut off and not very clear. We ordered Classic Orange Chicken and stir fry vegetables bowl. Both came on a bed of rice. Basic Asian food. Hard to screw up. Firstly most orders at colony are ready within 15 minutes, about the time it takes me to walk there. This order took well over 30 minutes from time of order online. I thought it's a good sign - it's being freshly cooked. It turns out not so. The food was appalling. The chicken was like breaded jerky and essentially tasteless except for the frying oil aftertaste. The veggies were not any better. Stringy and mushy. The rice in both bowls must have been cooked yesterday. Stuck together, not in a good way like sticky rice, but a congealed mess. Bottom line, my recommendation is to avoid this place. It's not worth the $30 or so we spent.

Terrible. Ordered a Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry and received literally nothing more than a Dry Bowl of Shrimp and Rice. There was no veggies included and no sauce whatsoever. Contrary to the menu item description. Never even answered the phone after calling multiple tries. No flavor at all. Not even a pack of soy sauce in the bag.

    Only one bowl.

I figured I'd give the recommendation a try, and I'm so glad I did. From the outside, it's in a pretty nondescript industrial area, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But once you walk in, it feels like you've discovered a hidden neighborhood gem. The café has a relaxed, beachy vibe with a cozy, homey atmosphere. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables, and I noticed a lot of people enjoying breakfast, catching up with friends, or working on their laptops. I ordered the American breakfast with eggs, kale salad, sourdough toast with butter and jam, avocado, and tomatoes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I also had a black coffee and one of their Bluey's coconut waters, which was a nice addition to the meal. One thing I really appreciated was the location. Even though it's tucked away from the busy streets, there's plenty of parking, it's peaceful, and you don't feel rushed. It's the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. Great food, great atmosphere, easy parking, and a place I'd happily come back to. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast or brunch on the Westside, especially if you're coming from LAX, Bluey's Cafe is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommended!

Got the Pedro Burrito & a hot latte…read more It ended up being 24 dollars, and 29 something once I added the tip. To be fair, the ingredients were fresh - but the execution was lacking. For the latte, it was rather milky - and it didn't taste that strong. As I said, I had it hot, and it seemed rather lukewarm - if anything. Extremely foamy, and didn't seem to taste like maple - even though that was the syrup used. The oatmilk was a great substitute, but something seemed to be missing from the drink. Truth be told, I'm a huge coffee snob. Being in LA, you come across so many coffee spots - and I'll admit that I am picky when it comes to my caffeine. The service was great, and quick. I didn't have a problem with that. The water more so a self service situation, which I didn't mind. Lastly, the shining jewel - the burrito. Which, in all truthfulness, was the most disappointing. The reason I'm still giving it three stars is because the flavors within the burrito were bold, and similar to how I remembered it when I last got it. However, one side of the burrito wasn't grilled - leaving the rest of the tortilla ending up rather gummy. Loved the pickled onions. It added such a needed sharp taste to help balance out each bite. Sadly, they didn't offer the little sauce they typically serve this burrito with. Unfortunately, the food was so underwhelming and a downgrade from when I last went that it is now joining my graveyard of spots in LA that simply aren't worth a repeat visit anymore. Heartbreaking conclusion.

I was not expecting it to be that fire but I highly recommend getting this while you can!! I added spinach for extra green and I think it would be even better if you added broccoli too. Pretty expensive though ($18ish) which is sad but as expected from sweetgreen. They had plenty of outdoor seating at this location. The tables were pretty dirty but we wiped them down with napkins so it was fine.
