    Southern dinner and pancakes
    Liz D.

Harlem world! Been wanting to come back here after a great brunch years ago! Easily accessible by train or driving. Parking wasnt bad and the station was right outside. I made reservations for 5:30 and they wont seat you if all your party isn't there. They have a few stools by door or bar if you want to wait. The bar was packed. I wanted to try happy hour but it was only offered at the bar and with no one getting up we sat at a booth. I will say if I come back I'd have to come earlier to get a seat perhaps. The food was good. I got the southern fried dinner and a frose. They were good. The server was nice and the place was clean. No complaints. I'd come back if im in the area.

Really lively joint w great Southern food! Came with a friend to celebrate his bday and wow the food was delish! Started with some drinks which were strong and tasty! The French 75 styled-one was like a boozy lemonade, so drinkable. For food make sure you try the superrrrr cheesy Mac and cheese- that was absolutely the standout. The stuffed salmon was also super tasty and perfectly cooked. Service is really friendly and helpful. On Tuesdays they have live music which can get rly loud, so plan ahead!

Came here after getting off our flight. Was told this place has great drinks, the staff is friendly and the music here is always slappin. Definitely a place you want to come to after work or a long day and enjoy their drinks and have a great friendly service. Shrimp Po'Boy: 9/10 my husband loved it. Her personally loved the dirty rice because it was spicy, but perfectly spicy. He cleaned his plate thoroughly. BLVD Wings: 8/10 Fried perfectly, but it was giving extra sweet Asian fusion. I don't like my wings sweet, but everyone else enjoyed them. Cesar salad (no protein): 7/10 no lie, I had the end of the roman lettuce tossed in my salad and it was a no for me, so I offered it. Fried chicken biscuit sliders: 10/10 they only come with two and I lowkey wish they came with 4 with the way its priced. Biscuits fluffy and the chicken was juicy. We could eat 4 more of thems. Overall: 8/10 I think I ordered incorrectly and should have ordered a main dish, but I would have loved for the apps to hit the way my husband's Po'Boy was hitting based off of price. My brother and cousin ordered drinks and they said the bartender was doing her thing behind the counter. They literally ordered 3 rounds of drinks. But I think this place is a great environment for folks who need to take a load off and being here was it.

Sooo good! I love BLVD. I went for Saturday Brunch. The food was amazing. The DJ came around 2pm. The service was good. Our food came out before our drinks. If you're looking for a restaurant in New York right next to the subway with amazing food and a good vibe I would highly recommend.

Great 1st Experience.. Food was good and the staff attentive. The Music and the vibe was definitely a plus... The energy was great and the food a plus which added to the experience. All generations represented and everyone had their fix of music from Soca, Afro beats. Reggae to Hip-hop and Rap. I would definitely come again !!!!

Wow!!!! This spot is so fire!!!! The vibe is phenomenal on a Saturday afternoon!!! DJ rocking the turntables & the Bartender Bo is the man!!! Great service & hospitality from the crew here! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. One of my new favorite spots in Harlem!! I will be back! The food menu looks excellent. The suggestions from two southern Queens sitting next to me at the bar looks delicious. I was told to try the southern dinner or the chicken and.

This food was on point you hear me. I ordered the jumbo shrimp and grits with bacon and cheese and butter on the grits. The grits was cooked to perfection. The shrimp was well seasoned and great tasting. Great portion of food. The service was okay. Sat at the bar . The bartender made a drink and he spilled it as he sat it down. Don't like to waste no contents at all especially cocktails . The sisterita drink was good considering some of it was spilled on the bar. Very nice place inside. Nice decor inside. I will definitely come back

Tried and true brunch spot. I love the steak, perfect medium char! And the ambiance is popping, this isn't gonna be a quiet brunch by any means lol. The Dj is loud and booming with R&B and old school Hip Hop. The service is a bit slow, but that's to be expected.

    Before

This place really outdid themselves from their customer service and food. We arrived for our reservation tonight and were immediately sat by the greeter who was pleasant, inviting and waiting for our arrival from Resy. From there our waiter (we looked on our digital receipt and didn't see his name) but trust us he's cool and we loved his energy, he was a vibe. We ordered and our food came fast. We eat a lot of soul food/seafood in our travels and none have earned my time to write a review but this food was amazing and earned all of these 5 stars! It tasted like my mom was in the kitchen! Keep up the great job and we will be back the next time we are in New York-peace and love -The McDougals

This had to be my favorite brunch in the city! I mean 10/10 for real! From the service to the drinks to the food, I legit had no complaints at Blvd Bistro! I suggest ordering the white peach Bellini carafe and you absolutely must try the biscuits with gravy! You will lick that plate clean, I promise you! Make sure you come with a big appetite because you'll need to then split the French toast, eggs and wings with a friend because the portions are huge and way too good to not finish! I'm definitely coming back every single time I'm in town.

Went for happy hour before our reservation at another restaurant. Was busy with happy customers . We sat at the bar had cocktails and the Asian wings and they were very good . We would definitely come back and stay for dinner next time in town .

$70 for two sides and a drink is absolutely insane. And the waitress tried to hide the total on the card reader when swiping the card.

Ask the Community - Blvd Bistro

GA Is there a DJ during the week for during bunch?

We have DJs performing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Is this a good place for kids to eat?

Yes, I took my 10 year old twins and 12 year old son for brunch and they enjoyed themselves.

Is it possible to make a reservation for tomorrow at 10am for 3?

Yeah of course you can but to be honest, for Sunday brunch especially you would have to book it about two weeks in advance. I, also, book it in the RESY app. That's your best bet. I have a reservation for three tomorrow but ironically I can't make…

Are there any spots available 2morrow for 6-630p?

Hello, Yes, we have availability. Feel free to email us at info@boulevardbistrony.com or private message us your mobile number to book a reservation.

Is it possible to make a brunch reservation for like 11:30/12 AM for Sunday 30th of July?

We are completely booked for tomorrow but we are managing walk-ins too!

Do you open on Christmas day for breakfast?

    Yes

Happy hour special are only if you sit at the bar?

You can sit at tables also.

    Do you offer bottomless brunch?

    No we don’t

    Do they serve hookah?

    No! They don't have Hookah.

Do you serve brunch all day?

    Yes!

Are there bottomless mimosas for brunch?

Hello. We have carafes of mimosa and all our speciality cocktails. Thank you

When does brunch end on sundays?

    7pm

Anyone know if they're days open is still just Thursday-Sunday? I really wanted to check this place out, but today is Tuesday :-/

Are they taking brunch reservations for outside seating or is it still only takeout?

Yes we are open for outdoor seating. No resetting is needed.

Is blvd bistro good for a group of 20?

Based on the seating configuration, it seems difficult. Also, it was so crowded every time I passed by (week end brunch) that I would definitely ask them directly if they are willing to do it.

Is the restaurant large enough to handle a bus group of 55?

Nope...I booked a reservation for a party of 11 for my daughter's bday. Several emails, a visit to the restaurant 2 days prior, with assurance that 'we got you'...a confirmed reservation and a promise to call to reconfirm, me calling to reconfirm…

Did they reopen at the new location yet? If not, when will they open or are they permanently closed.

NOOOO! We are not permanently closed. We are beginning soft openings next week and we will be officially open the week of the 20th.…

If I am not mistaken, is BLVD Bistro closed ? I'm in front of it and....looks like a done deal to me for business :/.?

Hi! We have relocated to 2149 Frederick Douglass Blvd. We will be reopen in two weeks. Thank you

Does BLVD Bistro offer Unlimited Mimosas for Brunch?

Yes they do, they have unlimited sangria, mimosa or Bellini for $25 for an hour and a half.

It's a perfect date night spot to share deliciousness with a loved one. My friend and I shared three flavorful dishes-- a radicchio salad, the Confit Duck Leg and the Paccheri, a pasta with house- made pork sausage and broccoli rabe. The duck was so tender it fell off the bone. The pasta was intricate and tasted perfect when it was first served then veered a tad salty as it marinated (but still great). The salad was gorgeous on its own but even better accompanied by the mains. The duck was probably my favorite, but every bite complemented the next thing so well, that all of my senses were thoroughly engaged. I truly was having such a deep experience with the food that at one point I asked my friend to stop talking so that I could properly take in all the flavors. Oops. She loved the food too, so thankfully she understood. We topped off the meal with the buñuelos. We liked the sauce, but I'd say it's not memorable. I liked my orange wine, and my friend was indifferent about her drink. It was a pricey dinner but such a worthwhile experience. Can't wait to go back.

Chocolate bunditos: 8/10: Smooth, sweet snd chocolaty. Bunelos: 6/10: The server described these as a round beignet or donut, but as a native New Orleanian, it's not like a donut or beignet. The crispy shallots added just the right amount of texture against the velvety base, and each spoonful layered flavor in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. For my main, I had the kichuri, and Chef Alex Guzman absolutely shines here. He is a star--full stop. There's a clarity and confidence in his cooking that you can taste. The space and volume seemed to overwhelm the staff at times. Service was friendly and welcoming but also frazzled and disorganized. We never received our appetizer until we reminded them, and our drinks (sweet tea and lemonade) also had to be requested again after a very long wait. To their credit, they did pack up the crab cake appetizer to go and removed it from the bill, which we appreciated. The fried chicken, mac and cheese, and yams were all served on top of each other. If you dont like for your food to touch, this place will be a nightmare for you. I ordered fried catfish, collard greens and potato salad. The fried catfish was served swimming in collard green juice (there's a picture of it). It was also surprising that you only get one piece of catfish, which felt underwhelming for the price, especially since it was soggy. The potato salad was served in a small separate bowl, which is typical in many Southern restaurants for ALL side dishes. The mac and cheese had good flavor but the cheese wasn't fully melted. The yams were dry and not very sweet despite the menu description. The collard greens were on the sweeter side, which may work for some but wasn't my preference. The potato salad the only thing that was solid. Overall, it felt overpriced for the portion sizes and execution. The bartender seemed very skilled, and the drinks we saw being made looked great, though we didn't order any. After the long wait and missing appetizer, we skipped dessert and went elsewhere. The bathroom also needed attention and was not well maintained AT ALL! Ew The restaurant is very loud which didn't bother me at all but an FYI. It is also handicapped accessible and kid friendly. I really wanted to love the experience, but it fell below expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, and value. I might give them another try but no time soon.
