Wow! This is such a great hidden gem in Outer Richmond! It's definitely a place only known by the locals and not talked about enough! We stopped by on a nice sunny weekend and the vibe was very nice. The sandwiches are pretty interesting. We tried the Green Dream and the Angelo with soprasetta. Amazing. The Green Dream was so fresh and green and creamy. The Angelo was perfectly mustardy and savory. The prices are slightly on the higher end but the sandwich is great quality. I will definitely need to check out the happy hour! Great place and great food!

I am so delighted to have found Boa's CVC in the outer Richmond, SF. Boa's CVC (on Balboa St.) is I a Cali-Italian café that somehow feels both elevated and super cozy at the same time. Everything tastes fresh and intentional, from the hand-prepped Napoletana-style dough to the organic ingredients. The just celebrated one year of opening! I go on little "me dates" here all the time and it's the perfect vibe: warm, relaxing, not rushed. The service is genuinely kind, and the space just makes you want to hang out a bit longer. I've only been for dinner so far (still need to try breakfast and lunch), but the margherita pizza and the Vitamin C salad with shredded roasted chicken are an absolute 10/10. It's one of those spots that feels comforting but still special. Parking is easy. Whether you're solo, on a date, catching up with a friend or just craving really good food, Boa's CVC is highly recommended!

Boa is a great neighborhood spot. It's a nice casual vibe and great add to the Outer Richmond neighborhood. It's a modern vibe with ample seating. Sometimes the wait can be a little brutal if they are busy, but the service is good. The mint matcha latte was my favorite but they aren't really consistent in flavor and it's not as good when they first opened. The food itself it pretty good. I'm a big fan of their sandwiches and I love their banana bread dessert. Overall, worth a try if you're in the neighborhood, but be aware that the wait can take a minute if they are busy. We have placed to go orders before and it took 45ish minutes.

Thanks to my friend for introducing me to Napoletana style dough type sandwiches aka panuozzi. We're usually down for a sweets get together but today it was savory day. Pros: * a cozy corner cafe with plenty of natural light. * sandwiches made to order. Warm & toasted. We ate 1/2 each and boxed leftovers. Friend had the Godfather and I got the Angelo. * mint lemonade went well with our sandwiches * clean unisex restroom. Pro tip: if you plan to drive over, avoid Friday mid day as it's street cleaning day in the 'hood.

Went to here out of a whim while picking up bagels nearby and was great. What drew me in was the house made bread for their sandwiches and the Italian ambiance with all the ingredients shown nearby and the bar seating. Since it's nestled in the suburban part of Outer Richmond, it has a nice local vibe. Had the original sandwich, chocolate banana bread, and latte. Latte was good all things considered, but the stars were the sandwich and the banana bread. The sandwich had a good amount of savoriness without being overbearing and the bread was light and flavorful. The banana bread had a good combination of being soft with the melted chocolate chips in the inside while having a crispy outside The barista was really nice and cool, had some conversation and felt welcomed.

Recommended lunch stop in Outer Richmond, Boa's is quaint and food is delicious. Open concept restaurant seating only about 16 ppl inside and 8-10 people outside on the sidewalk. Dogs welcome outside. I was misunderstood by the Yelp photos when I saw the Margherita pizza and the order came out a sandwich. Deconstructed all parts tastes like a pizza and if you close your eyes the dough of the bread tastes phenomenal. Sandwich is good and tomatoes are so fresh. I hope one day Boa's puts pizzas on their menu. It'll be a hit! I couldn't resist the Chocolate Banana Bread! Soft and gooey! Service was fun and entertaining.

We randomly bumped into this posh cafe on a city hike with our dog. We were so hungry and needed a break after 4 miles. This was the perfect rest stop. The menu is simple - some appetizers, breakfast sandwiches, a few salads and the main attraction is the sandwiches. The bread they use is very unique. Super thin but had a nice bite to it. Held the sandwich together really well. I had the eggplant caponata sandwich and the filling was extremely delicious. Everything just worked so well together.

Sandwiches and lattes in a bright airy spot in Outer Richmond. I ordered the Lucca breakfast sandwich which has tapenade olive oil, egg, roasted red bell pepper and arugula which is a great savory combo. They make all the bread in house and you can really tell how fresh it is! The vanilla latte was a great balance of creamy, sweet and very slightly bitter. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. It took around 10 to 12 minutes for our sandwich to be ready but was well worth the wait.

Very nice setting, bright, open and some outdoor seating. Looks like they have a decent wine selection. We've been twice. Once just for dessert and coffee a positive experience. Next time came as a party of five. Two other groups already there, already served. We had to go to the counter to order, had to grab our own water refill, had to flag the server down for anything else we needed, had to grab our own to go boxes. Appetizer came out with entrees. Food was good, but not eye popping. Pizza actually had too much cheese on it. I hope they make it because the area needs a place like this but I'll def think twice before going back. I've been a server over 20yrs I know how hard it is, and nothing about that night indicated it was too busy.

My post-concussed head initially had a hard time spotting the place because the signage outside says CCC. --- Wanted to enjoy the beautiful sun, get some fresh air, touch grass, and take a proper lunch break on a hectic Monday-- looked at new places on Yelp, this place didn't have many reviews (not that I looked anyways) and took myself on a solo date. Ordered the Godfather (under Panuozzi in their menu and only available after 11am)- highly recommend. They make their bread in house - it's a Napoletana bread. It's composed of salami, soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto cotto, provolone, Dijon, garlic aioli, baby gems, red onions, pepperoncinis, tomatoes, red wine vinaigrette, oregano. And got a hot chai. Perfect combo; I recommended this spot/sandwich to my boyfriend. Service was great.

Do not sleep on this place! If I lived close by, I would probably come here at least once a week. We stopped by to grab a Matcha latte and a coffee, but the smell of freshly baked bread drew me in to try something on the menu, we tried the Godfather sandwich and it was amazing - from the bread to all the stuffing to whatever sauce they put in there. It was amazing and everything on the menu looked so good there. Nutella on bread was great as well. I will definitely be back to try more items. Service was wonderful as well, very nice and friendly.

Boa CVC in SF has a self-service setup that works well. Housemade bread is good, pizza is tasty and more flatbreadish, and salads are fresh. The casual vibe and friendly staff make it easy to enjoy a quick, satisfying meal.

What a wonderful new add to the Outer Richmond! Boa's has been long awaited by my family who was eager to have a restaurant with Italian offerings within walking distance and we were not disappointed! The interior is sleek and modern with a beautiful bar for single diners and although the space itself is on the cozier side, I think its perfect for a date night. That said, we went with our young daughter and they are very accommodative to families as well. I will have to try their coffee and baked goods! Onto the food - which is top notch! Their flour for the breads are imported from Italy and they bake everything fresh daily. High quality flour from Italy is heaven sent for those with mild gluten sensitivities. Bruschetta - the bread is to die for and the tomatoes were super fresh and flavorful. A great way to prep the tastebuds for what is to come. Margarita Pizza - this 12inch pie was a marvel. Slightly thicker crust than a true Neapolitan style pizza with the perfect ratio of sauce to crust to cheese. Chicken Pesto Sandwich - pulled white meat chicken, pesto, cheese, tomato and arugula wrapped in their homemade bread. Excellent combo. We were really happy with our dinner and just wished the portions were bigger because everything was so tasty. Can't wait to come back. In short, I highly recommend and hope they do well in our neighborhood! Support small businesses!
