Boca Grill is a small restaurant that sells kosher Middle Eastern style food. I ordered the hummus on pita bread sandwich. It came with various toppings at no extra charge. I asked the server to add purple cabbage. There are several other items you can add. I saw beans, cabbage, olives, lettuce, tomatoes, and various pickled vegetables and more that you can have added to your plate. Some are free and some come with an extra charge. The hummus was a little denser then I'm used to, but it was tasty and I enjoyed it. Clyde had the shawarma. He said he liked it. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, and grilled entrees. I've been wanting to check out this place for a while, but never got around to it until recently when a coworker graciously offered to take me out to lunch. Myself observing kosher dietary laws, we decided to eat here as it is one of a few kosher restaurants within reasonable distance to our office. Here are my thoughts: Location: In the middle of a fairly busy shopping center, but easy to get to (heart of central Boca) and lots of parking available. Atmosphere: Plain and nothing fancy, but clean. This is one of those restaurants that focuses more on the food than how upscale the interior is. There is a decent amount of seating available, but I could see it easily getting crowded when busy. Food: Very good. I ordered chicken in a pita with hummus, tahina and Israeli salad. It was delicious, but they definitely could have put more chicken in my pita. My colleague got the schwarma pita and had no complaints. We shared a basket of fries which were also tasty. Service: We had a waitress who took our orders, served the food, helped us pay, etc. She wasn't "bubbly" but she was polite. It took only a few minutes for our food to be ready, which was a plus. Price: No comment, as I was treated to lunch :) Overall, I don't think there is anything that would stop me from coming back here when I'm the area. What a disappointment this place was! Absolutely trash! Went with a friend and we ordered the 'pargiot': young chicken platter. Off the top they charge you for every little thing that should normally be free on the side. The chicken on the platter was small and very few pieces. I asked the waiter to re-fill the pita basket twice and nothing. Right when we finish the meal he decides it's the right time for the pitas. I payed over $30 with tip for something half the price in pita plus or Levys. Plus those places give you way more meat on the plate. What a joke this place is. Never again. read more

We stopped here thinking we'd grab a quick lunch. Big mistake. It took literally 30 minutes for them to make us two sandwiches, as our kid got crankier and hungrier. We specifically asked them to leave off a topping we don't like. They put it on anyway, and it was oozing all over the falafel. We asked for fresh pitas b/c we really didn't want to wait for new sandwiches, and they actually fought us on it and tried to charge us even though they messed up the order. The main cook wasn't wearing a mask and all the tables are crammed together; I guess they really want to spread Covid? I then recalled that the last time I had been there to pick up a take out order, they took 15 minutes longer than they had told me it would take on the phone. I had an excellent turkey roll sandwich at this very nice little restaurant. They have very tasty middle eastern food at Boca Grill. The falafel was great as were the fries, pickles and salad. The service was very good. The cooks were attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed Boca Grill. Their prices are good. It's very clean. I'll be returning soon to try more entrees. Upfront, I only got take out from here for lunch, so there's definitely room to elevate my opinion here. I've been seeing the social media and fb ads for awhile. So whoever their marketing person is, they're doing a great job. The promotional images really got me hyped to try something clean, fresh, refreshing, and a little different. I went with the grilled chicken salad, which I know in general isn't very exciting. But my thought was that there'd be a colorful green mixture, some purple middle eastern flare, bold flavors. What I got was a mixture of moist lettuce and cabbage, some unseasoned tomatoes and cucumbers, with a super thin piece of dry chicken that was cut into strips. This meal really made me understand the difference between people who eat to enjoy life and food, and those that eat to simply survive and exist. Outside it looks very modest when you go inside the energy is great the food is amazing my sister had the Jerusalem mix plate I had the shawarma plate we both got couscous and rice and salad and pita and a sampler and the service was outstanding. the person working at the counter in the register make sure that we had everything that we wanted and more and continually made sure that our experience was great I will definitely be returning to the Boca grill. read more

I hate putting bad reviews when it comes to middle eastern food. I love this place, the food is great. The salads are amazing, and I always come for their kefta sandwich. I ended up trying their shawarma and change it for one and I found it to be slightly dry. The tahini sauce helped the dryness of the meat but I didn't enjoy the meat. The location is great, the service is amazing. Nice guys that works in there, but their prices are outrageous. I was so curious, that I started to look up other middle eastern menu prices and compared them and their prices were higher by $3-4 on most of their dishes. I was upset to see that. But after we were served no one ever came to ask us if there is anything else we need or how the food was the entire meal. The owner tended to pay more attention to people who are paying big bucks on their menus rather than just to check on everyone. We even had to catch eye contact to ask for our bill. Found this Kosher Grill in Boca. Me and my Son enjoyed about a dozen salads as starters. The beet salad was awsome, so was the babaganush. Hummus and Tehina was outstanding and so was the Falafel. I heard about this place today and decided to go check it out with my husband this evening for dinner. Now there aren't a shortage of Mediterranean restaurants in Boca, particularly in East Boca, that's for sure but Boca Grill, located at Glades & Lyons in the Somerset Plaza is one of only a few kosher restaurants in Boca, serving up some amazing Middle Eastern/Israeli cuisine. Some of the specialties include Shawarma, Falafel, Hummus, Hamburgers, Beef Kebab and a number of Fresh Salads like tabouli, babaganush, grilled sweet pepper to name a few. The pita that accompanied our salad platter was warm and fresh and everything we tasted was packed with flavor. We had some difficulty understanding the gal who initially took our order but then came Orion around and he was awesome.
