This place is located in a strip mall that looks a bit worn down, so it can be easy to drive pass without realizing it. Further, the restaurant itself is behind some heavily tinted windows, I wasn't even sure if it was open or not because of how dark the tints were. If it weren't for a person coming outside with to go containers, I would have thought it was closed. So if you drive by, realize it is open! Once you get inside though, the people there are so welcoming. They help you out and are super hospitable. With COVID protocols in place, the menu is obtained via a QR code. We ended up ordering quite a bit, which for the price was worth it. We ordered the half and half chicken (equivalent to 12-15 pieces of wings at the bigger chain of chicken wings) with umami soy flavor and a sweet and spicy flavor, 5 piece chicken tenders, cheese corn, and french fries. I have to say everything was delicious. The chicken was crispy and flavorful. The cheese corn (essentially elote) was spot on. You can tell it's canned corn, but nonetheless, it's delicious. Third fav was the umami soy, we all thought this would be our favorite so this is why we got a whole order of it, but it definitely has a classic taste to it, I wish It was bolder in flavor though. Last would be sweet n spicy, I think I'd try a different flavor rather than get this one again, it was more on the sweet versus spicy side. First time here tonight. I came here with my 2 little boys. My cousin and her family. Total of 6 of us. The place looks clean and nice to know they could accommodate large groups. This place used to get packed with people, so I don't understand why they weren't busy. However a good flow of customers came through. This is definitely our spot for chicken wings. We shared Kimchi Fried Rice and a 5-piece order of the Boneless Tenderloin Strips. We were going to order a soju cocktail too but the machine was broken at the time. The best thing about the Kimchi Fried Rice was just how loaded it was with cheese. Each bite probably had more cheese than rice, which I'm pretty okay with. I have been to bunker 21 a couple of times now and I definitely want to share my experience there with all of you. Food: To start, you are given some free appetizers which includes cabbage salad with a tangy and creamy sauce on top and some pickled radish.Both of these dishes help prepare you for the food to come. The food here is honestly outstanding. From the wings to the kimchi fried rice with corn cheese, there's currently been no bad entrees we have tried from here. One of my go-tos have to be the garlic yogurt Parmesan wings. These wings are creamy and crunchy and are super delicious and filling. What makes the wings here different is that they are Korean fried, which means they are more crispy but still have TONS of flavor. Another item we normally get would have to be the kimchi fried rice with the corn cheese (not pictured, but AMAZING) This is definitely a fan favorite, having so much flavor and is very large and filling. It comes out piping hot with a flame still burning to keep it at temperature. I definitely have not tried a fried rice like this before! This time we also got sweet potato fries and I'm surprised how large the portion was! We couldn't even finish half!! They had added sugar and a sauce that gives it a nice balance and a good texture! Service: service here was great, however I do wish the ordering system was different. You do have to pay up in front and most of it is through the phone as well. Because of this, normally servers do not walk around and stay up front which I do totally get, I just wish it was set up a bit differently! But that's just my preference. Servers were still very nice. Ambiance: The place is rather small, but it did have majority booth seating which I do enjoy. It gets rather loud as dinner time so be aware of that when you come. I do wish some of the prices were different as it is very expensive for some of the items. For the 6 wings it ran us almost 20... This place is a hidden treasure nestled on the end of Little India. I judge good places to eat that provide the consistency in flavor. This place fits the bill. The radish kimchee and cabbage salad taste very much the same. The kimchee fried rice with the cheese corn is off the hook! The guy/girl was a fricken genius who put this thing together in a dolsot - stone pot. The cheese stays molten as you enjoy the cheese corn and kimchee fried rice. The two of us always get it, however, most of the fried rice ends up as leftovers for the next day's meal which is pretty damn awesome.
