Sweet Potato Fries

love their fries & chicken! will always come back for it. service is always so quick & everyone is so friendly! their cabbage side dish is so delish I always ask for more!

The Garlic Soy and Sweet and Spicy wings were very good. The crispness was on point given it is a wet rub and chicken was juicy. Corn cheese had lots of cheese pulls. Sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had anywhere. Wow! Service was quick and attentive. Smaller restaurant looks like it would be fun to go with a small group at night for drinks/food. They also played really good music that wasn't overly loud.

I came here on Christmas Eve. Another restaurant I wanted to go to was closed but this place was open. It's next to Holo's coffee which I go to all the time, but it looks closed almost every time I go there. I was surprised it was open, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. Reviews said fried chicken is a must-try so we got the lemon pepper! WOW it was good. So crispy and flavorful on the outside. The inside was moist and piping hot! Spicy french fries had a nice crispiness to it too. I'm guessing it's whatever oil they use to make these two things so good. We got a pork bowl that I thought was kind of mid--I'd skip it next time I come back. Might have just found my new neighborhood Korean fried chicken spot. They also offer free salad (it was just shredded lettuce and thousand island dressing) and pickled daikon. On top of that, I thought the service was great. I mean they are working on Xmas eve! I think it's family owned but I could be wrong.

Great food and service. The server (sorry I forgot her name) was very attentive and nice considering my nieces and nephew were a little rambunctious.

Location was easy to find, service was great, food was good. There was plenty of seating for a Monday evening. It was kinda warm inside. Fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The umami flavor was delicious. Complimentary side salad paired well with all the dishes. Seafood pancake was good, but a bit greasy. Kimchee was ok, daikon was good. Parmesan fries were good. Definitely a good place for beer and Korean street foods while catching up with friends.

This place hits the spot for when I'm craving korean food! The staff is very nice and they do an excellent job at keeping the place clean. The music played is fun and upbeat. We started with corn cheese and tokpoki. For our mains we got the sweet and spicy and garlic yoghurt parmesan wings. They offer you a complimentary cabbage salad. Cabbage Salad- Fresh and crisp with a sweet and tangy dressing that awakens your taste buds. Corn Cheese- Such a lovely blend of sweet corn and gooey, creamy cheese. They have a good ratio of each ingredient and it was the perfect balance. Tokpoki- Rice cakes were nice and chewy. The sauce is flavorful with just the right amount of kick. Fish cakes, egg, and sausages make it hearty. Adding on cheese is so worth it! Sweet and Spicy Wings- Their chicken base is tender and juicy with an excellent crispy exterior. The sauce starts off with a tangy sweetness and you get a little kick of heat in the end. Garlic Yoghurt Parmesan Wings- Nice and creamy with a generous amount of cheese on top. The gatlic flavor is nice and strong. Great experience overall!

I never knew I could love Korean fried chicken until I met Bunker21!!! Not only do they have a variety of flavors, but their chicken wings are always the right amount of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My top three are the Garlic Parmesan Yogurt, Lemon Pepper, and Hot & Crispy wings. They offer a wide range of items on the menu - draft mango cart beer, fries, tteokbokki, and kimchi fried rice, which are all bomb too. Each chicken order usually comes with cabbage salad and radish. I noticed there's usually only 1-2 people working the dining area, but the food always comes out fast & hot. Everyone is nice and accommodating. There are mainly booths of 4 inside with some long tables in the middle to fit larger groups. Interior is like a pocha setting - super casual.

I came often to get chicken wings. My family loves the hottest and spicy chicken wings. Their chicken are crispy and delicious. This place service was pretty fast and the wait staff was really nice. This would be a nice place to bring a group of friends to eat. The food prices was reasonable for the quality. The chicken wings were hot and crispy. The wet flavors maintained their crispness even after a while. I recommend the reaper, it was my daughter's favorite. I would definitely come back again.

The food was really good here, probably the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. It was crispy and the spicy flavor had kick but not too hot. That's the one everyone should order.

I loooooove korean fried chicken! You can really tell the quality of the chicken here. We went with friends since they highly recommended it and i loved it. I got the 3 piece tenders which are HUGE with a huge serving of fries. It comes with a bunch of sauces too but my favorite wad the umami soy and then the house one. My friends enjoyed the garlic yogurt sauce. We got the cheddar fries - came out so hot and good. The wings are delicious and big and my husband got the beef bap which i had a taste of and enjoyed it. Our server was extremely nice and answered all our questions and the food came out piping hot and pretty quickly. I want to bring my parents back soon! Theres enough parking and even tho its a bit on the smaller side its got cool decorations and tvs. The portions are huge but you do pay accordingly. Also youre paying for quality. Will be back! Nothing compares to this delicious chicken

Sophia B.

The Korean fried chicken is incredibly flavorful. The coating is light and crispy, without being greasy or overly bready. The fries were also perfectly crisp. I was a bit surprised by the umami soy sauce. It was thinner in consistency than what I'm used to but overall, I'd definitely recommend this place!

Soy chicken wings
Sokna S.

Food: 4/5 Ordered chicken wings: Reaper and Soy flavors. Reaper was delicious, dry rub and very spicy. The soy was wonderfully seasoned as well. Chicken wings were nice and crispy and came out hot! Also had fries with bulgogi which had a nice mix of French fries and sweet BBQ meat. The portion for the fries was huge! Service: 4/5 Staff was very nice and very quick. Ambiance: 4/5 Nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Nice seating for parties as well.

Arlene T.

Our go to place for chicken wings. I've brought friends and family over the years and never got disappointed. Though the place is small, they have room to accommodate large group. Place is always clean. Servers are nice.

The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

3 stars for the food, but only 1 star for the service…read more I came on a Wednesday evening, and there were only a handful of people inside and out on the patio. You'd think with it being so slow, the service would have been attentive... but it wasn't. Our waitress only came to our table to take our order and bring the check. The only other time we saw her was after we flagged down another staff member because our fries were lukewarm. Unfortunately, the replacement fries were also lukewarm, so I'm thinking fries just aren't their specialty. I ordered the Al Pastor fish tacos. They were good, but nothing really stood out or made me want to order them again. I'm willing to give Eureka! another try because everyone has an off day. Hopefully the service is better next time, and I'll update my review if it is.

The bar was bustling for the game which I was happy to see but upon entry, there was a gal in crutches ahead of me and I heard the door kid say they were at capacity. I checked in with him with my service dog and immediately said, we are at capacity and don't allow dogs. I let him know I have a seat waiting for me at a table, said my dog is a service dog, and simply said, "I'm sorry we're at capacity and dont allow dogs." I understand the capacity thing. So I went outside and called my friend who was inside to tell him I couldn't come in because the bar was at capacity. My guy friend came out and gave me a hug. My friend then talked to the door guy and said that door guy said, "He said he'll let you in but not your dog." I confirmed with him, "So you lied about being at capacity and are denying my service dog? Because you just told my friend you'd let me in." He tried to explained that the bar is busy and that that is how the owner runs it. I asked to speak to a manager. A manager comes out, or claims to be, saying she owned the bar, and never introduced her name. She was wearing 49ers jersey, blonde hair. I explained the situation to her and said, "you can't turn away service dogs, that's a violation. Do you understand that?" She then proceeded to explain to me that because the bar is busy and people are spilling drinks SHE does not feel comfortable having a dog in her bar. I again said, he is here for me, he is a certified service dog, and sits under the table, as my dog is just standing there. I asked, "Wouldn't that be MY call if I was comfortable if my service dog and I were in here or not?" She responded, "No, it is my bar so it's my call." She proceeded to say, "Look you can come here on a Monday with him and youll be fine. I love dogs more than I like humans, my sister has a service dog, etc. Etc." None of her banter ok's the fact that she outrightly denied entry of a patron with service dog and initially claiming to ve of capacity but lied about that as well. Horrible door experience and unfortunately I will have to report this to the DOJ as an ADA violation. This review is to document the occurrence and advise those planning to bring service dogs to be aware they will make excuses to not let you and your working animal in. For the owner, hi, just FYI businesses must allow service animals unless they pose a direct threat (in which mine did not). You violated both federal ADA and CA laws.

Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

Busted a u-turn going down Alondra so I could go back to Atlantic then make that right and slide to Compton Blvd and make that left. A few streets from there on your right side you'll find boulevard gastropub. Sitting next door to some other business which is right next to a big parking lot which is free by the way. I've parked in this lot at least a couple of times just to go to that taco truck and never noticed gastropub. Immediately when I walked in it was good vibes and the sense of a good atmosphere. We had a short conversation I shared with him how I discovered his business and informed him I do reviews as well as post some content on my social media platforms in hopes of businesses receiving more attention and customers. Unfortunately, due to them not having an alcohol or liquor license, some of their drinks such as the cocktails are more so wine based drinks. So please don't come here expecting to get some Don Julio or Hennessy. Ain't gone happen lol. I had a Classic Mojito and enjoyed it. The price was $10 which I found exceptional. The food was delicious. I recommend the Blvd Burger as a go to if you can't decide on anything else. I loved it so much I had to make a video. And definitely try the Voodoo Wings. I'm definitely returning for another visit. I can see this being a new frequent spot to pull up to and hang out. I love the ambiance, my drink, the food here and the customer service. As soon as they were done, I looked over to my friend and we both said "we're coming back!" The bartender was nice and he indeed let us know that these bar actors are regulars. Both my brothers bartend locally and you bet I sent them photos and video, asking "why don't you have people like this at your pub?!" If I could give out more stars I would. Happy holidays!
