A few days ago I noticed that on one of our faucets, if I closed the hot water side too fast there was a little bit of a rattle under the house. I thought I could handle it myself after asking Perplexity what it could be and installed a water arrestor. That didn't help so I thought, maybe it could be the strapping. I reached out to Handy Plumbing Man on a Saturday and they were quick to respond that they could have someone there on Monday. Monday morning came and their technician, Miguel, went down and found that one of the pipes they had worked on wasn't totally secured. No problem, mistakes happen. He said he'd call the office to get technicians over to check the strapping on the work below. I had to go into work but did get a message from them later on that day to see if they could get someone over the same day (Monday) to fix it. This is more on me that I had already gone into work, but they said they could do tomorrow morning at 8am. The guys, Carlos and Baltazar, came bright and early, went under the house and secured the pipe and then some. Awesome company!

Waisted 4 hrs of my day, I could have rented a snake from HD for $80. I had a backed up main sewer…read moreline that was backing up and out of the clean out in front of my house. Plumber never showed up to perform the job. First the scheduling. Lady on the phone had no idea what things cost. Then, she schedules it with two hour window, this is ok I guess. I called at 4:00 pm, she schedules it between 5-7pm. That fine. Then, around 6:00 pm Evan shows up, but guess what, he is just the guy that's going to write up and make you sign the contract and said that the other guy is right behind me to do the work, maybe 7 to 7:30. I'm already frustrated, but ok, as long as the pipe is cleaned, I have a family that needs to use the bathrooms and what not. Evan of course leaves without leaving me with any contact info. Then shortly after, I get a text message that my appointment is now from 6-8 pm. Ok, I tried calling the office, some ai answering machine answers but no human ever called me back. It's 8:15 and no call and no plumber. Pretty shady business practices imho. Edited original one start review. Yesterday evening around 11:00 PM the plumber tech showed up and ran the snake down the pipe to open the flow. This was actually surprising cause I lost hope and was planning on going to HD to pick up a snake myself at 6:00 AM. Alexis was very friendly and professional. Quickly performed the work and promised to call in the morning to schedule a camera inspection to make sure the pipe was properly cleaned. Evan arrived this morning, performed camera inspection, all is good. Thank you guys, would have been nice that both of those things were done between 5-7 yesterday as was originally promised, but still the job is done. I'm bumping the rating from 1 to 4 stars.

I was looking for someone to replace our makeshift…read moreend-of-line cleanout with a proper one, and Jose came out on a Saturday to give me an estimate - super fair pricing and great work done quickly on the next Friday. We ended up telling him about our crumbling cast iron main sewer line under our slab foundation, and a belly in the garage that's been causing us problems every year, and Jose offered us the CIPP + robot cutter trenchless solution so that we don't have to dig up every connection in our house, and it was at a fair price. Since they did a great job with the cleanout replacement, we decided to do the whole sewer line CIPP and dig up the belly too. Jose and crew arrived promptly at the scheduled time to start the work. They dug up a trench in the garage and replaced the section of the pipe with the belly on day 1. After the belly was replaced with new pipe, there was still not enough slope for the new section to properly drain, because the two end of the existing pipes were just at the wrong height and simply replacing the belly was not enough. Jose communicated this to us and proposed another solution where they would pipe burst under the current pipe for the section that's too high to my front yard clean out so that the whole section would have proper slope, at no extra charge. Meanwhile the crew in the back were working on the CIPP in parallel. They measured out where the openings were and carefully marked the linings with the measurements. Inserted the linings, cured it, cut it, then used robot cutters to reopen the connections. After everything was done, they patched everything back, and cleaned up the whole place. When they patched the concrete in the garage back, they made sure put in rebar to support that small cut out section of the concrete. We saw the final result together in the camera inspection and the pipe looks great - no more bellies and one nice sewer line with proper slope and smooth lining. I'm so glad I found this company and Jose who I know I can trust to do high quality work and do the right thing when there are unexpected hiccups that arise. Throughout the process, Jose took time to explain to us what will be done and how it will be done so we were never left in the dark. I really appreciated the clear communication. It was a pleasure working with Jose and crew!

A full service plumbing company which does the drawings and files the permit for you is 3x more; they have to charge the same hourly rate for the paperwork which includes driving time, drawing time, permit approval time, time for multiple inspections. The building department requires a rough and final inspection. Tip: Turn off the gas meter with a 15in crescent wrench for 20$ from harbor freight. Add a pressure test valve and pump, call inspector for pressure test. Order new gas range from costco 1-3k. Going to hire him for all plumbing jobs from now on. Intempus stole 70k in rents, security deposits and deposits. Was stuck.
