Consistent five star food, service and ambience located in Galilee. Amazing staff and freshest seafood cooked to perfection. Our server, Jen, was personable and attentive. The lobster tacos were stuffed with huge chunks of lobster and the salmon poke bowl was tasty and fresh. There's a generous On Tap beer menu- Modelo and Loose Cannon IPI were refreshing after a day at the beach.

I usually write pretty lengthy reviews, but with this place I just don't have it in me. We went here when the wait was too long for George's and for Champlin's. And that is just about right - good enough in a pinch but nothing special. I had the fisherman's platter which was a mistake - just too much too fried. I'd suggest just going for the fried scallops over the clams or fish - it was by far the best of the 3. I do have to give major credit for creativity on one of the kids items - it was a Mac & cheese with a hot dog sliced to look like an octopus with goldfish in top. My 6 year old agreed that that was pretty cool.

The best calamari yet! My family orders calamari every restaurant we go. Love it, wish we lived closer.

What a way to end our stay in RI. The best lobster roll had during our stay. The lobster grilled cheese was loaded with lobster also. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Social distancing and masks worn. Can't say anything bad about this place.

I truly appreciated that. I sat in the less used area as there was a baby shower going on in the main space. I'd love to check that side out next time! I got the pulled pork grilled cheese for best sandwich RI and it was good! Pricing seemed a little high, but yet again Narragansett is filled with tourists all summer so I guess that makes sense!

We walked in for a late lunch and sat at the bar. I love the interior of the space. The pizza oven built of pizza stones is an eyecatcher but if you look around, you'll catch all kinds of fun decor choices throughout the space Our bartender was a gem. She was busy working on side work but she always kept an ear towards us so when we were ready, so was she. A sign of a real professional. We ordered some margaritas, the calamari and a small Powerslide pizza. Before long, she was setting everything down in front of us and we dug right in I was able to sample this pizza before at our National Pizza Day event last month so I was eager to snag a slice the moment it appeared before us. Sausage, caramelized onions, garlic and goat cheese. Yes, please. The combination of toppings with their dough as a base, with the bit of char from the wood fired oven? Divine. The calamari was excellent as well, fried perfectly (and if you know anything about me, I'm a bit particular about seafood). The peppers and olives were classic, well-prepared additions to the dish. And with the drizzle of balsamic, provided the extra acidity that I love on my seafood. And WHEN (not if) you swing by, if you drink make sure you order a cocktail. I've had an espresso martini before and now this time a margarita and every time they knock it out of the park! Loads of flavor options as well so you will find something you love, guaranteed. Summer is coming, so head down to the beach now before it gets too crazy and get one of the best pizzas in South County!

We wandered outside looking for food and stumbled across Monahan's Clam Shack. The line was incredibly long, so we headed back to our room and placed a to go order instead. Even from the outside, the laid back atmosphere and unbeatable ocean view made it easy to see why it's so popular. We ordered the lobster rolls, stuffed quahogs, clam chowder, and coconut shrimp. The standout was definitely the stuffed quahogs, they were absolutely packed with flavor and easily the best part of the meal. The lobster rolls were very generously portioned, which was appreciated, but overall the rest of the food was a bit on the bland side for our taste. The staff was friendly and fun, and the portions were great. If you've spent all day at the beach and want a casual meal with an incredible view of the waves, this is a great spot. It's not fine dining, nor does it try to be, but it's a fun, relaxed place to enjoy a hearty seafood meal.

We honestly couldn't have asked for better staff interaction. Everyone was friendly, personal and genuinely cared about our time there! Also hats off to the chef! Jared told us he was the best and I can agree! This was quite possibly one of the best meals I've had all year! We shared a special of the night ( goat cheese, beets, peaches and hot honey) and the salad that is set to be a new menu item. Everything was locally sourced and these dishes were a 10/10! It was hard to choose and entree so Emily C and I split the cod and the steak sirloin. The cod was to die for. The best I've ever had. The sirloin was chefs kiss and the sauce and asparagus it paired with (and potatoes too) were all out of this world! While i was already full, the dessert menu is a must. We went with a lemon dessert and oh my goodness was it to die for! Drinks were amazing too---I had a spritz and a very tasty mocktail! Ambiance both inside and outside are beautiful. Since it was a sunny summer night we sat outside, but inside is equally stunning. It is very upscale chic and so pretty! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I'll be back for the staff, especially our server David, another drink, the eggplant sandwich and more of the dessert menu! I see why Yelp raves about this new spot! It is !

What a treat for the kids meals to also have a hummus/carrot appetizer, side of green beans, and a scoop of gelato to finish off their meals! Our server Alyssa was so wonderful and attentive! We had a beautiful evening here and can't wait to come back!

We drove up to the building and there really is nothing special about it, very few windows and some over grown trees in the parking lot. I didn't have high hopes. When entering into the restaurant the appearance of the bar and dining area was actually decent. Wood floors, wooden tables and a nice atmosphere at the bar. There was a bit of a cleaning supply/bar smell when you first walk in. Again I wasn't expecting much. The kids ordered a small Caesar salad and pasta with butter as their main dish. My husband and I both ordered the marinated grilled chicken with vegetables and potato. A fresh hot loaf of bread with butter was placed on the table right away. It was definitely out of the oven hot and delicious. The kids devoured most of it and we ordered a second one. The waitress, Grace was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for the table. I have to say the service was excellent as expressed on other reviews. Definitely a plus with kids! Our kids devoured the Caesar salad. It had fresh lettuce, shredded cheese, croutons and well mixed in dressing. They loved it! When our main dishes arrived, it looked promising, two pieces of nicely grilled chicken on the dish. When I tasted it, I was impressed! It was delicious! Perfectly grilled, not rubbery, and very tasty. The meal came with a side sauce of our liking. I chose the lemon butter on recommendation of the waitress. Perfectly paired! The kids pasta and butter was buccatini and was nice and hot, with a side of potato chip fries. Very good and very unique. They ate it all! Overall, ChopHouse Grille exceeded my expectations. While it isn't on the same level as a special occasion restaurant like the Coast Guard House, it offers solid food, excellent service, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. We never felt out of place dining with our kids, and the staff made the experience easy and enjoyable. I would definitely return to try one of their steaks next time. If you're looking for a comfortable spot for a family dinner with consistently good food and service, I'd happily recommend giving it a try.

The taste was nothing like a good steakhouse French onion soup. The cheese was off and the broth was a totally different flavor profile. The croutons were soggy. Only had a few spoonfuls and I was done with that. The New York strip was cooked well but could use a little more char. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were fine. Soda was flat and flavorless. Why can't restaurants ever get soda right? Like I said. Hit or miss. I won't be back.

I ordered the famous hash omelet (huge, so, so good) and it comes with your choice of two sides. I apologize for not knowing what all of the options were but I opted for home fries and toast (another choice was baked beans, I remember that one). My wife had the Supreme omelet which came with a meat, peppers, onions, mushrooms and cheese. It was also huge and delicious. While we were sitting at the counter chatting up a local, she mentioned that Oatley's had just won the local Community Choice award. I can see why. One other thing to mention is their bread. I don't know what they offer in particular but a woman came in, asked "how many do you have left" and they said "one". She took it. It was a nice, homemade loaf of raisin bread for about $7.
