Another checked off my list I had seen this place as part of an IG reel of places to work out of and I'm glad I stopped by I was able to snag a countertop seat and ordered their chicken San which which was THE BOMB so thankful for the cashier who recommended it! So good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Strong WiFi and it kept busy all afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here to work before an appointment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute spot with shared high top seating, some little tables in front of a long booth facing the baristas, and booths and tables near the back. Art deco pink vibes for sure![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu looked great with daily pastries at the front available. I opted for a medium iced dirty chai latte with almond milk. They made it in seconds! Personally, this was too coffee heavy and didn't have enough chai flavor. I was a bit too jittery after this, so I wouldn't recommend getting it dirty if you only want a little coffee flavor, just stick with the regular chai. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is nice if you want to work or catch up with a friend. Free Wi-Fi and restrooms available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Friendly ,fast service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A lot of seating options and it's so cute inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good and strong latte! Will definitely be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is really cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a lot of options for desserts as well as breakfast foods and really good coffee. There is a public bathroom available so that's always a plus.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the cafe was very cute and the service was great, staff was attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The packaging for their pastries and the glassware was also super chic, really added to the vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The coffee and pastries were not that great unfortunately. We ordered the triple chocolate croissant, date muffin, iced caramel latte, and chai latte. The croissant wasn't soft or flaky, was a tad bit too hard to enjoy. The date muffin was actually really good, just the right amount of sweetness. The lattes were both bitter and lacked real flavor from the syrups. Although cute in appearance, I don't see myself returning

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A completely satisfactory bathroom![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As I walked in I was greeted with a flow of tissue on the floor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that I'm satisfied but would not want to take a nap here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Toilet sittability: 5/10 Overall 6/10

Drinks were Soso. Their iced matcha latte was very milky and I didn't like that it had so much clumping on the bottom of the drink. I had one with regular whole milk and it was too milky. The other one I had with pistachio milk and little a bit of vanilla syrup was slightly better. Iced Mushroom latte - do not get this. It was bitter and mushroom herbal tasting. I wanted to spit it out after the first sip. Tried adding simple syrup but I just couldn't force myself to finish it. I guess maybe their standard coffee drinks and food are better but the 3 drinks I tried weren't that great.

Butler Bakeshop & Espresso is a coffee and baked shop in SoHo. Their freshly prepared meals, pastry and perfectly brewed coffee will sure make you come back over and over. This particular location is at the corner of Grand and Lafayette street. They have three other location in NYC. We came on a warm (43 degree) cloudy Christmas Eve morning to grab breakfast. We were bedazzled by their cute interior design, layout and its natural light throughout the entire coffee shop. I ordered their Avocado toast x egg and hot Latte. Food was terrific as well as their hot coffee. Service was impeccable. Staff were cordial and professional. Prices were economically fair. Overall, I had a good order experience and enjoyed our food/coffee. I recommend this coffee shop.

The coffee is okay and I wish they had more syrups but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's really cute inside and the service is good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They gave us our drinks and food pretty quickly too

Stopped by for lunch today, would give a 3.5 but rounding up to 4 due to nothing being outright bad. Service - 5/5, friendly! Cold brew w/ oat - 4/5, pretty good! Breakfast sandwich - 3/5, bacon was a bit overcooked (also, it looked like only 1 strip total was used), and the portion was rather small. Side salad was just greens with some sort of vinaigrette. The bun and truffle aioli were both good though. That said, overall, I didn't feel the dish was worth the $13 and wish I had gone with a pastry instead. I'd likely return for coffee and to try a croissant, but I've had better breakfast sandwiches elsewhere.

Best little coffee and breakfast spot in Soho! Everything was super fresh and delicious.

Great spot if you need to get some work done or just want to meet up with friends. The food is good, breakfast and lunch options. Mushroom latte is recommended and is the matcha latte. Service is good. Bus your own table or they may come and do it for you. One bathroom for customers only.

I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
