Wow what a view! C level is the epitome of dining on the Bay in San Diego. I remember coming here numerous times years ago and just having a great time. It just had a chill vibe just like how San Diego is. All the service staff is very nice and quick to help you. I like how you go to all the three restaurants are owned by the same company, gives you that consistent level of service. It feels like you're in the same place but with three different scenes. There is a good variety of dishes on the menu. You'll sure to find something that interests you. We usually order the mussels, Thai chicken salad, calamari, and the filet mignon skewers. We booked a last minute reservation for a late brunch while visiting the area for our anniversary and were very pleased with our experience. Wow! This place was amazing! We came here for a work event and every single one of us talked about how it's the perfect date night spot, the perfect place to bring your significant other to get out of the dog house, or a perfect place to just relax and unwind. We dined last Saturday around 4pm. Service was horrible. The server lady in long black ponytail almost yelled at me for changing seat. Don't know why these days we need to tip this kind of service at least 18%. She should get nothing. Not pleasant experience at all. Food taste was just okay for what's being charged. This restaurant has a beautiful view but the food was not good, free parking is limited. This place isn't cheap so I don't understand why the food is of low quality and badly prepared, one of our friends got a salad, it looked bad and not very fresh, we learned a few days later that she got sick. This is one of those expensive restaurants that have a surcharge with the bad excuse of supporting the minimum wage as I previously written if food and service is good people will keep coming back and considering its high prices adding the surcharge as part of their food prices should not make much difference. We ordered: - Lobster and Fontina BLT sandwich.- very salty, not good. - Smoked salmon on New York rye.- simple and very salty. Super solid spot. Made reservations for 6:15 and got in at 6:15. Service was great, our waitress was attentive and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I personally got the Steak Frites. The green sauce on top of the steak was incredible! The broccoli was very flavorful and a perfect portion. Had the lobster BLT and it's such a good bang for your buck. I was super full by the end of it all cause they put so much in the sandwich. Special thanks to Tammy, our waitress, for being very accommodating to our group and making my birthday celebration a special one. My friend was joking around when she asked if I would get anything special like a cake since it was my birthday, but to our surprise, I actually got a giant slice of ice cream cake with a candle next to it! We had a 6:15 dinner reservation set for "outside seating." When they were ready to sit us, they offered us seating inside instead. Having never been to this restaurant and assuming inside would still be a nice experience (after all, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and sought out this place specifically for the view), we agreed. We were sat sort of in the middle of the place, next to a half-wall that really blocked light onto our table. It was not a good dinner location, especially as we lost natural night. My spouse lost clear visibility of her food as the evening progressed. I regret not having them sit us outside as I had requested or asked for a window table, at least. However, who knows how much we would've had to wait if I had asked for that. The entire night was slow and inefficient. Our server didn't greet us for about almost 30 minutes and took another 15 to take our orders. By the time we got our appetizer, we had been there an hour. The rest of the food came fast and so did the requests for boxing leftovers all the while we were still eating our food! Needless to say, we felt rushed to eat all the while not feeling their own sense of rushing to provide a reliable and efficient service (especially considering the price point of this place). Everyone who helped us was nice, but the experience didn't match our expectations. What about the good? The food was fine. We shared the baked Brie, a wedge salad and the catch of the day. I would return to enjoy it again. Is it worth it's price? I wouldn't say so but getting a window seat would absolutely make it worth while. However, Coasterra nearby has way better seating and might be a better experience. I didn't hate C-level, but the service was subpar for its cost and supposed quality. read more

It was the first time going to a restaurant where they didn't ask for a contact number, in case of a outbreak of the virus. Other safety precautions were taken with plastic barriers in between the tables. We were celebrating a friend's birthday. All of us our local San Diego residents still can not beat the view from this restaurant. Plus the San Diego harbour police put on a show that was unexpected but appreciated. We came here for lunch on a Monday, and even just 30 minutes after opening the restaurant was relatively busy! They have a nice outdoor dining set up with a beautiful view of the harbor. The food itself was very delicious, with generous portion sizes. We had the crispy calamari and crispy artichoke fritters to start, both of which were fried very well and really tasty. The artichoke fritters were especially nice, with a light batter and paired nicely with a lemon caper aioli. The lobster & fontina BLT was one of our favorite main dishes! The lobster tasted fresh and sweet, and they included much more lobster than I had expected for the price. The bread of the sandwich was nicely toasted with a light layer of fontina on the inside. We also got the ahi, crab & avocado stack which was better than I anticipated - even though it was listed as an appetizer, the amount of food provided was definitely enough for a lunch entree. The papaya mango salsa on top perfectly balanced the rest of the stack, and I could not get enough of the sweet chili sauce on the bottom. To top it off, the service was amazing, with a very nice waiter who was really attentive throughout the whole meal and even offered to take our pictures by the water at the end.
