Fun "Date Night" with my wife, took us back down by the bay to this beautiful spot. We have eaten at the Island Prime next door before and wanted to check out views from the outside! C- Level did not disappoint. My wife and I had a lovely view of the San Diego cityscape from our table. Great views from almost any table, but the tables right up on the glass are the best. Food was amazingly delicious! I had the Fish and Chip cooked to perfection and a nice portion I will add (and I'm a big boy). My wife had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Also, a very nice portion size. Our sever was very polite and the service from the time we ordered to food on the table was super fast. I had made reservations so we had no wait upon arrival. But I did hear walking in that the walk-in line had an hour plus wait. So making reservations is a must. Only thing that was not perfect...the bus boy. He returned several times to our table to see if we were done. On his 4th stop within 10 minutes, he even asked me if I was done. I was not, so in this aspect I felt like we were being rushed to turn the table. Other than that, I loved it and I know we will be back again. The Cohn Family delivers as usual. read more

The view is absolutely amazing, not a bad table in the restaurant if you ask me. If you have the choice sit outside or inside, go outside. Ordered the Ahi-Crab-Avocado stack and it was the best thing we had, 5/5 really recommend. We got the Lobster Mac cause everyone is talking about it. We'd give it a 3-3.5/5. Wonderful evening at C-level. Definitely recommend making a reservation and requesting a table with ocean views. Sat in the outdoor section and there were heat lamps to keep it comfortable. The service was great. Our server Mikayla was helpful and cheery and made sure we had a nice evening. Highly recommend the artichoke fritters, they were some of the best I've ever had. Went here with family and everyone ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed their food but no one was wowed by it. The ambience is very young and chic ocean side. OMG the view is to die for but I actually really enjoyed the food here!!!! There were a couple points taken away from my score though... Personally, I ordered the calamari, the chicken sandwich and the brownie. Calamari was so good, we shared with the table. The chicken sandwich had a unique taste. I didn't want the slaw that came as the side so they were nice enough to substitute potatoes and it was Delicious, i don't know how they made the potatoes but I was in LOVE! We did order the lobster bisque and personally I was NOT a fan... had somewhat a bitter taste. My boyfriend had the lobster BLT and he was raving about how good it was. My mom got the Mediterranean bowl and she LOVED IT. I snagged a bite and thought it was DELICIOUS!!!! I don't even like "healthy" food and I would have to say it was super good. My sister was super pissed about her meal though. She got the fish tacos and couldn't eat it because the whole thing fell apart in her hands and the fish tacos didn't taste good at all. She felt bad and is a humble person so she didn't want to ask them to replace with something else so she forced herself to eat it anyway. I was kind of upset for her. The desserts were to dieeee for! We got the brownie and the cheesecake. Both were absolutely delicious! I would buy that brownie 50 X over and over if I could!! Cannot wait time come back for it. Another thing I wanted to note was the hostess ... When i called about my birthday reservation, one hostess said she would note on my reservation that I wanted window patio seating along the water . When I arrived, I checked in and asked about the window patio seat and the hostess threw a WHOLE ATTITUDE and said i have to wait and was super rude... 30 minutes went by - PAST our reservation time and my boyfriend went to check to see how many people were ahead of us and the lady got sooo mad that we asked for an update????? Very impressed by the food and service here! We made reservations for 1:15 on a Saturday afternoon and requested the best city view seat. We were celebrating a birthday so I'm glad they were able to accommodate. We weren't seated until about 1:45 but at least we got a good seat. I ordered the lobster and BLT because of the reviews and it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered without bacon and the sandwich was still stuffed. So much lobster, absolutely get your money's worth. The sandwich is HUGE and very filling. It comes with lobster bisque which was BOMB! Perfect for dipping my sandwich. I wouldn't recommend ordering this by itself - it was kind of bland but it goes well with the sandwich. We also ordered calamari- some of the best calamari I've had. Great portion and so much flavor! The dipping sauce is sweet and was a perfect match for the calamari. For dessert, we ordered the brownie banana split. Amazing! I was so full while eating this but it was too good to stop. The service was excellent! Nicholas was our waiter and he was awesome. It was kind of busy when we went but he was on top of it! Super friendly and quick! Steak was delicious, especially the pesto butter. Craft cocktails were enjoyable, I really like the sangria, not too sweet. We were stuffed, but we shared the brownie with peanut butter ice cream sundae, so good! Only thing, I know it's a lounge, but for the high prices it would be nice if there were a couple other options for sides not just French fries. Food was great that's why we kept coming back. My company were already inside and I came in late. I told the guy who saw me that I was joining my company. He offered to help me find them. I appreciated that so much. Mindi was our assigned server. She was very attentive to our table, cheerful which made us very comfortable, and offered to take our pictures. We needed that extra help to take our group picture. We would love to be served by Mindi again. It was the birthday celebrant's first time in this place and she wowed the view inside and outside.
