Fettuccine Alfredo, so overpriced and bland.
    Matthew M.

This place was dead, I mean like 6 tables dead. The services was ridiculous as well. The hostess was very nice and seated us very quickly, obviously there was nobody else there, so we could've sat anywhere we wanted. The waitress came over fairly quickly got a drink order, but was actually looking for us to order our food with only having about two minutes to look at a menu. It felt like We were being pressured to get in and out as quickly as possible. It seemed like whenever we needed something, she was walking away before we could even finish a sentence. One of us ordered the fettuccine and it would've been better from a knorr packet. The other one ordered the rigatoni with sausage and the sausage was crumbled on top and it would've been nice to see it mixed in with the sauce. Again, just not worth the price they're asking. I would imagine this place probably won't be around too much longer. This is my experience, I'm sure if there was only six other tables in there on a night that it should've been much busier others are probably thinking the same thing.

Shrimp & Scampi Linguini. I LOVE it!

Tonight was my first night out since coming home from both the hospital & the health rehabilitation center & my friend Kristy took me out to dinner here. I'd never been here so I was very happy to come here. We had the most amazing waiter plus he was really handsome. I wish I would have gotten his name. He was totally awesome, very helpful, & even recommended me what to have since I was torn between 2 entrees. I took his recommendation & went with the Shrimp & Scampi Linguini & was I glad I did! I really liked it & have some for leftovers! He kept our drinks filled, checked on us & provided the BEST service! The ambiance was inviting & we got there before it got really crowded so timing was everything! We will definitely come back!

Little slow today. Said order would be ready at 216 but it wasn't ready til 240. The side salad was pitiful. Normally they have the container full but it was only halfway. No tomatoes. Look like just lettuce.

Amazing food, amazing drinks, met with amazing service! Our server Justin was absolutely incredible and on top of his game! The music was relaxing and not too loud. The manager Kyle came over and made sure everything was delicious. 10/10 I will be back!!

I am SORELY DISAPPOINTED by our experience at this Carrabba's. It's been years since we've dined at Carrabba's and we were painfully reminded why! I honestly don't even know where to start. The food was bland, not well prepared, and so not worth the prices they are charging! The lasagna that I had was equivalent to what you might buy from the grocery store frozen section and put in the oven at home. The center was mushy, lacking flavor, and dry. The lasagna had been drenched in thin sauce but once cut into it was a desert. My son ordered a steak medium. It was WELL WELL WELL done, tough, chewy, terrible! The steak by itself was $35. Please review the attached photo where you will see a paper thin sliver of meat. We paid an extra $3 for flavored butter which honestly wasn't worth 50 cents. He asked for the garlic fries and we were told there would be an up charge of 'a dollar and some change.' Well that dollar and some change turned out to be $1.99 for soggy fries that were clearly just dipped in oil! First of all, you should know what the up charge is and secondly, 99 cents is not 'some change'. It's another dollar! I know that's petty but it's basically how everything during this experience played out. When we arrived on a Friday night and there was no one waiting outside and only three other tables with guests inside, we should have known! Our bill for three people and no alcohol was $105 before tip. We won't be back.

    Tuscan-Grilled Sirloin* 7 oz

We were looking for somewhere that sounded good for Easter Dinner and stumbled on Carrabba's. We dined here a few times at the location in Scottsdale before they went under. We decided on DoorDash because Easter is such a busy Holiday. My mom got the Tuscan Grilled Sirloin and was rather disappointed. The steak was overcooked and the Mashed Potatoes and Caesar Salad tasted powdered/bagged. My Johnny Trio was good. The Chicken Bryan and Sirloin Marsala were hot and flavorful-- but the Mezzaluna Pasta was cold and bland. I'm not sure if I'd come back much, due to the high prices and Olive Garden equivalent food.

House Salad, lentil sausage soup, Tuscan grilled chicken and spinach. Low cal delicious!!!

Great food and service today! Quiet, fun, Italian atmosphere. In Gilbert, there are many choices. This is one of our top go to places!

The cakes themselves are big and full of crab with just the right amount of filling to create a decadent and moist cake! We also shared the seared jumbo scallops...High Tides knows how to cook scallops to the best! So yummy and tender and perfectly cooked with that crispy outer and the soft, creamy inside. We also shared a Caesar salad and one of the things we love about this place...ask and you can get some fresh anchovy on the side to add to the salad. Wife always asks for more lemon as well to drizzle over the salad. Overall a fantastic dinner for us and everyone with us!

Use to visit the Chandler location weekly 12-14 years ago.. even told our kiddos that tonight when we brought them here. Problems started as soon as we got our food. All the food came out besides our son's children's steak, was told they had to cook another one. As we were waiting for his steak, my husband noticed his steak wasn't a ribeye like he ordered. He suspected it was a NY Strip Steak. About 7 minutes goes by and manger brings our sons steak. My husband asked the manager if his steak looked like a NY strip to him and manager replied "yes, I think we have the best NY Strip" and my husband nicely replied, I didn't order a Strip, I ordered a Ribeye and told the manager it was fine, he would eat it still and still tasted good but didn't want to be changed for a Ribeye since he got the strip wrong. ($12 difference) I got the firebirds bacon chicken pasta with steak instead of chicken and no tomatoes and green onions. Well.. there was def tomatoes and onions and no bacon. And I was changed $30 for pasta and steak.. that wasn't even made the way I asked. Well my son's (late) steak was suppose to be medium and it was rare. By the time the server came back my son was eating some of my husbands steak and my pasta so we just asked the server to take his meal off the check because it was late and cooked wrong. She said it was absolutely cooked wrong and insisted to bring him a new steak as well as take it off the check. She even asked him to put his steak on a plate and "she'd throw it away and they'll make him a new children steak." Well manager comes back and tell my husband that his steak was in fact a ribeye (it was def not a ribeye.. no marbling whatsoever) and dropped off our sons steak.... It literally was the pieces we had cut up that they just threw back on the grill. Even pieces our son chewed and spit out when it was rare and too chewy for him. Like GROSS!!! They did take the children's steak off the check and gave us a free dessert( which we didn't even want, we would have rather paid the correct amount for my husbands steak...) The waitress was fine, none of this was her fault because she read us back what we ordered and had it all correct.. but she fell short as to getting us refills (never even offered a 2nd round of wine or beer) and when it was time for the check we gave 2 gift cards $50 each and our card to pay. She brought back our copy to sign and she only took off 1 $50 gift card. We had to call her over and she realized she didn't use both giftcards and had to void our card and redo it. The managers were busy the whole night talking to upset tables. This location really needs to get their stuff together. Again, nice to offer dessert but truly all we wanted was to get what we paid for and how we asked for it and tonight wasn't it. Literally felt like we were scammed outta $160. we will be taking our $$ elsewhere.

Disappointing Anniversary Dinner - Expected More for the Price…read more My wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary here after getting recommendations from friends who spoke highly of the place. Since we're in the Gilbert area, we loved the idea of a great steakhouse without the drive to Scottsdale. We went in with high expectations -- we're no strangers to special occasion dining, so we knew what we were hoping for. Unfortunately, the experience fell short in almost every way. The ambience and service felt more like a polished chain restaurant than the upscale dining experience the prices suggest. For a $300-$400 dinner for two, you expect a certain level of attentiveness and flow -- and we just didn't get it. After our appetizers, we noticed we never received the pretzel bread everyone raves about. When I asked our waiter, he said they had just finished baking a fresh batch. When it arrived, it was cold -- so that clearly wasn't the case. We also had to flag our waiter down to take our entrée order, which shouldn't happen at this price point. My steak was fine -- just fine. My wife's fish was the same. Nothing memorable, nothing that made us feel like the bill was justified. By the end of the meal we were both ready to leave. Our waiter did offer a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, which was a nice gesture, but we were already checked out mentally and chose to go somewhere else to finish the evening on a better note. If you're in the East Valley looking for a truly special dinner, I'd honestly just make the drive to Mastro's Oceans Club or Steak 44.

A Hidden Gem You NEED to Try - Don't Let This Place Stay a Secret!…read moreI've been to Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery a few times now, and every visit leaves me wondering why this place isn't packed every single night. We stopped in on a Monday evening and had the whole vibe almost to ourselves--such a shame because this spot is seriously awesome and deserves a full house! The atmosphere is so vibey--warm, inviting, perfectly lit with that perfect mix of casual and upscale that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. It feels special without being stuffy, great for date nights, family dinners, or just unwinding with friends over craft beers (their selection is impressive--40+ local options with plenty on tap). But the real star? The food. Everything is scratch-made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the care in every bite. Deeply flavorful, innovative twists on classics, generous portions, and consistently excellent. Whether you go for the Nashville hot chicken and waffles, fish & chips, burgers, or whatever catches your eye, it's all done right. No frozen junk here--just real, delicious food that keeps you coming back. Queen Creek (and the East Valley) needs more places like this. Support local, support quality, and help keep this gem thriving so it doesn't disappear. We'll definitely be back--next time on a busier night so more people can discover it! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and go. Tell your friends. Mondays (and every night) deserve Sage & Barrel. You won't regret it.
