First time here for the lady and I. Was afraid it was going to be like another "Italian" chain. It was delicious, from the fresh warm bread with the dipping oil to the dinners. It was a great dining experience. The meatball app was delicious, salad was fresh and just the right size for a side. We got chicken parm and chicken Picatta and they were both delicious. As close to a home cooked meal as you can get while eating at a restaurant. The star of the night was our waiter Thomas, he was outstanding. I absolutely love Carrabbas. I am a diehard fan- and have been making fans for over 20 years. (From Tampa). This location is another example of amazing food, and service. They not only follow my many requests, but also follow COVID guidelines!! They have excellent seafood, love the Spiedino Di Mare with fettuccine alfredo- YUM!!! The Cozze in Bianco (Mussels) are simply the best anywhere!! Their caesar salad is amazing!! Oh and the bread!! Found a hair in my soup. They wouldn't give me my money back. I was so disgusted. I ordered the sausage and lentil soup, dunked some bread in it and low and behold a hair stuck to my bread and came out of the soup. So disgusting. Richard Vega sweet talked my mom into giving a $25 credit to get a meal there but why would I ever go back? There was HAIR IN MY FOOD. He said it happens, women have long hair. No, Richard, this should not be happening. Totally disgusted. Totally done with that place. It's been starting to suck for years now but this has really ruined it for me. My brother and I took our mom here for her birthday (10/10/22). We had amazing meal. The service was excellent and the environment was warm and inviting. We joked with our server, that she and one of the managers looked like the could be twins. They don't look alike per se, but similar hair, cut and color, similar, build, and similar style glasses. We were told we weren't the first people to mention this, but they just didn't see it. It was one of those things that made the evening memorable Fast forward to today, November 3, 2022, today's my birthday. Mom is in the ICU. This morning she was taken off the ventilator and seem to be doing well, but this afternoon the ventilator was reconnected. It's been a sad and trying day for me. I had planned on celebrating my birthday with my mother, perhaps even here at Carrabba's ,but that's not to be. Seeing as how Carabbas is so close to the hospital, I decided to go there solo. My server, Elaine, made the mistake of asking how my day was. I told her the truth. She was very sorry and took very good care of me. I then saw the manager and serve her from our last visit on mom's birthday. The manager came over to speak with me and again she asked "how's your day?" I told her to ask Elaine. I then explained what a rough day is it been with everything and she asked if I needed a hug. Which I thought was the sweetest thing in the end they were so kind that they comped my dinner. It's so rare today to find anyone who has that level of compassion. I highly recommend Carabbas on Baldhill Road in Warwick you will not find a kinder or nicer staff. Time for another fun installment of #MorganReviewsChainRestaurants! Carrabba's may very well be my favorite of all the illustrious chains I've reviewed thus far, and rightfully so. This restaurant was started by the Carrabba family, and the menu is chock full of heirloom recipes passed down through generations, which the restaurant recreates daily for hungry customers. We had the pleasure of visiting the Warwick location as part of a tasty and fun Yelp Elite Event about a month ago, and decided to return tonight to celebrate a special date night. Bald Hill Road is chock full of excellent dining options, including a neighboring outpost of popular Connecticut-based Pepe's Pizza. However, we loved our experience at Carrabba's so much when we were here last month, so we decided to dine here instead. I'm very glad we came back! The restaurant is a standard casual, family-friendly table service joint, serving up generous portions of tasty Italian-American fare. However, as mentioned above, there are many family recipes thrown in with the usual chicken Parmesan n' meatball suspects, and it's a welcome change of pace for sure. I started off with the Mama Mandola Chicken Soup, a flavorful and comforting stew which was a signature dish of the founder's grandmother. The pasta in the soup was perfectly al dente, and the chicken was tender and juicy. So good! The bowl portion size was big enough for a main meal as well. Maybe I'll get that next time as my entree, and pair it with some warm bread and delish herb olive oil... For our main courses, my boyfriend and I dug into the Tuscan Salmon and Pollo Rosa Maria (chicken stuffed with fontina cheese and prosciutto) respectively. I liked the Chicken Bryan that we had for the Yelp Elite event better than my entree tonight, but it was still pretty good. Kudos to the kitchen for the never-overcooked chicken! I did think it was a bit salty, though, and probably would order something different next time. I was good and skipped dessert, although the Sogno di Ciccolato was calling my name. I'll have to plan ahead diet-wise to have a few bites of that next time! Our server, Keith, was awesome. He was probably the best waiter that we've ever had in any restaurant, chain or not, and we dine out frequently! Keith was funny, engaging, personable, and prompt, and I look forward to requesting him when we come back! And we WILL be back! :) Thank you also to manager Patrick for coming over and saying hello! I'm glad he remembered us from the event! Too often we Yelpers pooh-pooh chain restaurants, but I invite you to try out the Warwick Carrabba's and see if you change your mind. One of my favorite chains. I love the warm bread with olive oil and herbs and we had our little one with us and the server brought her water in a "kids cup" which was great. It was a busy night as there was a school music fundraiser program where 20% of the check goes towards the school music program - pretty neat! The calamari was tasty and crunchy & on the plus, they had tentacles which are my favorite part! I feel like the calamari to side sauce ratio was odd though and made it like I needed more calamari or less sauce (I could have put the calamari in the sauce container). My mom and I shared the chicken Bryan with grilled asparagus which was delicious. We also had some lobster ravioli which was a small plate of ravioli but tasty! My daughter wanted grilled cheese but upon asking if they have orange cheese (she only eats orange cheese) they didnt so we opted for pasta which she did eat. This was a poor experience. The waitress was awesome. The prices were overinflated and portions were small. We ordered a side of fries for $5 and we counted...there were 15 fifteen fries. We ordered a piece of grilled chicken breast (Their Chicken Bryan) and pasta (half a cup to be exact) for $22. It was small portion size. This should have cost $14. We also ordered the mushrooms because it looked yummy by the looks of the picture - not so much. The actual was smaller then the picture and these mushrooms lacked zip. There was no nuance of garlic, salt pepper --- nothing. Come on Carrabba's - your a chain. You're not in Little Italy so chill with the prices and throw a little bit more food on the platter. read more

Before my mother (age 98) and I even stepped in the door, I was impressed. Two employees held open the two doors for us. We were seated at the closest booth. Service was fast and friendly. My mother needed the restroom and I was a little concerned my coffee would be sitting there waiting for me, getting cold when I returned. Nope. Our waiter brought it steaming to me as soon as we weee seated. He brought me a second cup of coffee just as I was thinking I was ready for one and should find him to ask! The Italian bread with herbs and EVOO as a starter was delicious and my steak Marsala was fantastic. Accompanying salad was perfectly sized and my dressing was on the side just as I like it but which I had forgotten to ask for, while my mother's came dressed which was easier for her. Again the hostess held the door for us as we left. I could not have been happier with both the A+ service and food. Oh, I see I didn't address ambiance. With all the great local restaurant choices in the Providence area, I usually don't think of going to Carrabba's, but we were in the area and I remembered going there many years ago down South, so we decided to give this location a try. Luis, our waiter was attentive and pleasant....A bit slow in the service, but very attentive. We started with the fried calamari app....it was nice and crispy, not greasy, but bland...not very tasty. The sauce was just OK...actually bland........I had to spice it up with some pepper. Then I had the spicy chicken soup and it was so SALTY.......... I could not eat it... I had a few spoonfuls of the vegetables and the chicken pieces..and that was it.... Then for my meal I had the prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin....when the meal arrived, i got three small medallions of pork...I could not find the prosciutto. The edges were nice and crisp and the sauce was nice and rich...the pork was very DRY though... My BF got the Rigatoni and it was not bad....the sauce again, was bland and not very robust nor flavorful. Overall an ok experience...if you are in the Providence / Warwick / Cranston area....check out some local Italian family owned eateries...they will please you...... read more

Such a fun night out and celebrating a birthday! A great Italian ambiance with a nice family backstory. We attended a birthday with a set menu of four courses, starting with breads and cheeses to salad, the main course and dessert. I appreciated that Carrabba's management catered to my wife's gluten free/ chicken free needs. I also truly appreciate that there were vegans and vegetarians in the crowd as well. We met some delightful new friends at Carrabba's tonight! The food courses each tasted fresh and perfects while they wines and Prosecco complimented the courses nicely! Carrabba's is a delightful place for a date night, family night or get together. I truly appreciate the quality of food and the care they took for each meal this evening. We went here for dinner around a moth ago. We'd gone here before, and the food and service was very good. What happened ? I ordered veal picada. When it came, the veal was literally drenched (submerged) in a very untasty canned sauce. I tried to eat it and bravely got through about third of it. While I was eating it I looked over at the kitchen help. There were three, Hispanic men ( I don't mean this in a racist way, and only for identification purposes), speaking in another language, laughing and joking and horsing around. It was painfully obvious that they were not very experienced in cooking Italian food, with that horrible rendition of what was supposed to be veal picada. I told the waitress and all I got was an "Oh, I'm sorry" and then she disappeared and came back later with the check. I don't blame her. I blame the ham and eggers in the kitchen and the management for not allowing wait staff to do something about an awful entre that has been served. We will NEVER go back. My retribution is this review and the others I will post on more sites. That, pius never spending another penny on this restaurant that has gone down hill in dramatic fashion. read more

I'm sorry I have to give it a one star but I was not happy at all with my experience. Came here for lunch 2 weeks ago with some co-workers and where do I begin? Oh I know, with the service. The place was nearly empty (no joke, I posted pictures as proof) and our server was slow. She took her time with everything. Just to place our order, we waited too long. At one point I tried waving for her to come over cause we were ready but she was too busy chatting with her co-workers. Same with bringing our food over, checking if we need refills and bringing us our checks. Why did everything take so long? When you find out can you please let me know? Then the food...ugh. I got the carrabba fettuccine; the pasta lacked sauce, no flavor, it was sticky and dry. I dont know why I bothered to take it home, I ended up tossing it. Ok, my wife and I were reviewing Italian menus in western RI and came across Carrabba's Italian grill. We ordered on line after reviewing and viewing pics of their meals. Everything looked delicious and decently sized portions seemed apparent. Whoa Horsey!! We got home, opened the bag and to our surprise, how shall I say?? Meals on wheels?, BJ's, Costco?, Lean Cuisine? Kiddie size? Are they "kidding"? Pollo Marie chicken had no prosciutto at all! There were 2 portions of that chicken about the size of chicken McNuggets..(no offence against Macdonald's AT ALL!!!) The sodium was within heart attack range. I had veal piccata, again near kiddie portion. Also a Caesar salad right out of a prepared cellophane bag that one buys at the local market. I mean really? So Carraba's is a chain BUT it doesn't feel like one...Food is consistent to recipe, large portions, excellent staff and management. I go in enough where they know my drink order automatically So it feels like a at home type environment. I highly suggest the burrata for an appetiser, chicken Brian with a Caesar salad and garlic mashed potatoes for your meal, followed by a John Cole for dessert. You will not be disappointed read more

Long time patron of this restaurant. It has always been one of our favorites in the area until this afternoon. Made the mistake of ordering a steak at a Italian restaurant. Worst steak I've had in me with which wouldn't of really bothered me until I decided to bring it to the attention of the manager. This manager felt it appropriate to basically tell me I ordered the wrong steak while looking at a piece of meat I wouldn't give my dog. She did so in such a degrading tone and superior attitude that i will probably never visit this location again. It's bad enough getting a bad meal but then to be talked down to really takes it to a different level. Waitress was great and the new decor really lights the place up as well. read more

We had a gift card so decided to do curbside tonight. Everything came out hot and fresh. Was puzzled by the wing count, 7? Everything was delicious-wings, salad, bread,pepperoni pizza and chicken pizza. I just don't feel that the two pizzas were worth $30! They were very small for the price...bread was super soft and I love the fact that they give you a packet of olive oil and spices. Will go back to try happy hour specials. read more

Two of us. Good salads. That was it. Calamari appetizer batter was brittle, filled with black pepper (not mentioned on the menu), and so overcooked that some of the squid were rubber. The accompanying marinara sauce was like diced tomatoes right out of a can. No flavor. This was going to be my meal. My friend's spaghetti with meat sauce was undercooked noodles covered with a minuscule amount of tomato sauce. Again, lacking flavor. Hoping to pump up this entree, she asked for more sauce and, no surprise, I was charged for this. Still tasteless. The bill said Pomodoro sauce: not was was ordered. Tonight We went in to get some food while the kids trick or treated. Our waitress Sheana was so friendly, and seemed really happy to serve us. I got the Filet, and my wife got the Chicken Parmesan. The steak was perfect and the chicken parm was so filling we had to take half home. The blood orange margaritas were a great recommendation. We will be back again this week!
