Love this hidden gem! The staff is super kind, attentive, knowledgeable and prompt. From the outside, it looks like a tiny restaurant but upon entering it's actually much larger than I expected with very tasteful decor and a great vibe! Loved the music they played and interior. We were greeted upon arrival and seated quickly. We were free served chips salsa and drinks quickly and ordered the carne asada... AMAZING!!! The steak was tender and a big portion. The beans and rice were seasoned well and prices were very reasonable! Our bill was less than $25 with a margarita! They have weekend brunch specials, weekday lunch specials and daily happy hour deals. This place exceeded my expectations and I'll definitely be back!

Great food and service!!! Drinks pack a kick as well. Unfortunately, they are moving from this location. Hope the new location is nearby.

    Beef fajitas to go box

Absolutely delicious! Honestly, this review is purely for the fajitas because I tried them once and have been stuck ordering them every time because they are so good. Both chicken and beef were cooked perfectly and the quantity was plentiful. Most of the time I get them to go but I did stop in one time and the service was excellent. They were extremely kind to my daughter and super fast as getting everything to the table. The place is never too busy from what I've seen so if you stop by you should be able to get a table immediately.

This shop is very cute. There's a table in the back with enough seating for a large party and that's where my climbing crew parked ourselves after a long and arduous gym session. We came for the happy hour and stayed for the cozy atmosphere, the kindness of the waitstaff and the delicious looking food. A friend got queso for the table to accompany our chips and salsa and it was sooo rich, creamy and cheesy. I had to keep myself in check in order to not devour the whole thing. The friend got a chimichanga and absolutely demolished it. He loved it! I split an enchilada plate with my other friend and the meat was very tasty, seasoned and not too salty. The rice was also very delicious. The others got different enchiladas which basically look like how you'd expect. One friend was not hungry and got churros as a snack and she loved them. Overall, a tasty and cozy diner. I can see myself bringing the crew here again in the future.

I went here for dinner with my friend and the margaritas were delicious. I had a spicy pineapple margarita, which I highly recommend. For Dinner I had rib eye tacos, which were superb. The rib eye was well seasoned. The service was great and it didn't take long to get our food. The salsa was alright. I'll be back here again.

We have already been, but had to come back just 4 days later! This place is so good! I almost want to gatekeep it... We had the fiesta platter, shrimp cocktail, brisket tacos, pozole, and churros. Plus margaritas. PLEASE if you like margaritas, try the guava margarita. It is so sweet and delicious! Everything was great, once again. I think we've found a new regular spot. Brian (spelling?) served us this time. He was awesome. Perfectly attentive.

Occassionally, typically on special occasions like holidays. Otherwise, there's a live solo singer.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

I thought from the menu and social media that this was an upscale dining venue, unfortunately, there are things that make it not so. First, where is the entrance? It was not easy to find. Thankfully, there were plenty of unhoused men ready to lead the way. Second, when I'm dressed up, I typically wear heels. Unfortunately, this is an old building and there are only stairs to get you to the restaurant. Save the heels ladies, this restaurant isn't made for all that sass. There is an elevator, but it says for ADA only and it also takes 5 lifetimes to get to each floor. The majority of the customers were dressed in casual clothes such as jeans and t-shirts. I'm visiting Dallas and I guess I didn't understand what this end of town is like. The photo shoot version of the restaurant in social media didn't match the clientele tonight. I ordered a vodka based drink that had strawberries, prosecco, and lemon. It was not good. I asked for the mule instead and that was tasty. My husband and I ordered the calamari and the pork for appetizers. I had the chip salad and the lobster mac b cheese for my entrees. My husband had the veal. He liked his entree. We both thought the calamari was fresh, but the breading needed more seasoning and a crispier blend to also stick to the food. The pork chunks were tender and salty. My salad was fresh and gave a variety of veggies to feel like I was eating healthy. The lobster mac would have been better without the lobster, it had no flavor. I was offered dessert, but our server said there was absolutely no espresso or coffee beans. There was only premade espresso for espresso martinis. So, I didn't try the dessert.
