I love cava but I hate that whenever I order for pick up it's like they purposely make my order wrong every time. It's always missing a bunch of ingredients that I add on. I'm ordering for pick up out of convenience but it's so inconvenient that they never make it the way I order it. The bowl is always less full when I order for pick up. I LOVE Cava Hollywood. I eat it a few times a month. First trying cava Burbank. I did a pickup order through their website. I'll spare the story and just post the issues. 1. I went to the register and the guy in the prep area told me I had to wait in line with everyone else making their bowls. 2. Left and realized they didn't give me my daughter's drink cup. Had to go back in. 3. Go to the car and figured I'd check. Saw they forgot our pita. Had to go back a second time. 4. Got out pita with a side of attitude from the employee. 5. Told her I wanted to check that the bowls had dressings before I walked away. Lo and behold. 3 meals, all without dressing. 6. Got home to find out my half and half bowl wasn't white rice and black lentils but just all white rice. I love their food and this meal was good. Both times I've ordered from here literally half of my ingredients are MISSING! I understand if they're out of one ingredient but I think it just comes down to the workers not paying attention in the slightest. OMG your service is horrible! I seriously thought I was on candid camera. We ordered online for pickup. Dropped in a 1/2 later and our food wasn't done. Told it was gonna be about 5 minutes. Waited another 20 minutes. No food. Asked the cashier about our food. Were then told it was gonna take another 1/2 hour?!? Not just us. Delivery drivers and other customers were all waiting for pickup not to mention a long line of walk-ins. I've been here before and it was slow as well. It's like there was no training. Inefficient seemingly lazy staff. No pride in service. I suggest you shut down for a few days to properly train your staff around a more efficient system. Otherwise this location is doomed. Which is a bummer because in theory it's a great local option. read more

I love cava, but this location specifically is so SLOW. The girl behind the counter is barely making eye contact with the customers and is moving in slow motion. There's 20 people in line and the workers are taking their sweet time and chit chatting. If you see a line out the door please be considerate and speed it up. I have been to the CAVA in La Jolla (CA) numerous times, so I knew the product and didn't have to guess what I was getting, so I stopped here to slake my hunger with a nutritious bowl of goodness. In this sparsely patronized establishment, despite the fact that there were at least 10 employees bumping into each other, I had to wait at least 2 minutes before even being acknowledged. At my usual CAVA, I start off my custom bowl with a bit of rice, a bit of quinoa, and some salad and have never been charged extra for this, but at this Burbank CAVA I was charged extra. The staff was a little confused about things in general, and I only got some pita because I asked...I was not asked if I wanted some. While the food is a standard CAVA issue, the service, especially since this place was so over-staff, can be much improved. read more

After a long hard day of work, I decided to treat myself to some cava on the way home. I was greeted so kindly as I came through the door. After reading all these reviews now I see, I'm not the only one that thinks this location is horrible. Poor customer service, including the manager. And every single time that I've ordered online, my Bowl is always missing something. And when I call them, it's always the same excuse. "We're out of that item." You would think they would offer you something else, or refund it. But instead, they allow you to pick up your Bowl. Make it all the way home to realize that you're missing your protein. I've never had this problem in the Porter Ranch or studio city location. read more

It's a mediterranean version of Chipotle. All bases start at $12.85 with choice of grilled chicken or falafel for no additional cost. I got the spicy lamb meatballs for an extra $2.65 w/ the safron basmati rice. You get three choices of dips or spreads and unlimited toppings. The garlic dressing and lemon herb tahini are my favorites. Solid lunch or dinner choice if you're nearby for errands or leaving the nail spa. read more

My husband and I ate here for lunch about a month ago and it was great. Personally, I really enjoy being able to pick the food that I want and don't want. Love being able to build my own bowl. Is it kind of pricey? Yeah, but I was full when I finished and I never would have chopped all that stuff up for a salad at home. Definitely would never make all those dips/dressings. We sat outside which was also nice. The service was fine. I mean, it's like a cafeteria line. Like Chipotle, almost...and like Chipotle I felt like the portions could have been bigger. I'm so excited about CAVA in Burbank! What a perfect addition to the area. I got the build your own bowl and as always every ingredient was super fresh. The inside is nice and big with lots of seats. Also, there is a large patio outside. Workers were real nice as well. Plenty of parking in the center but be mindful that it does get really busy in that area. read more

Love and hate this location. Every single time we get this girl with thick eyeliner (and acne) she always skimps out on our bowl.
