The food is very good. However DO NOT order online. They promise your food at a particular time and they do not meet the promise. I have ordered online 3 times and my food is never ready. This time I waited 35 minutes past the promised time. I understand short staffing but don't promise times that you can't meet. Many times the line inside is terribly long as well; although today, I would have been able to order my food in person and finish eating before my food was ready. Three stars are given as an average. Delicious and very filling. I'm usually able to get two meals out of this. Service is quick. The one complaint I have is the upcharges are not so great, but the few times I've asked for those select items, the employee would notify me it's an upcharge before putting it on. I don't think every employee does it but I'd encourage this practice because I really appreciate them saying it!! read more

First time having Cava today and let me tell you, I have definitely been sleeping on this place. Previous reviews have called this place the Mediterranean chipotle and that's a pretty spot on label. Huge fan of Cava since I tried it for the first time in DC years ago and have been to all the other locations in Dallas. This one is by far the worst one I have been to yet. Ridiculously small portions and the dude was fishing for the smallest pieces of lamb he can find... also they didn't have a few of the items including the pita crisps and the red onion. So delicious and Englan, who works there is such a dear- so attentive and delightful. The food is top notch, fresh and healthy. I found out about this place recently and am now a regular. It's so easy to pick up and it's so nice to get something so flavorful, to know it's healthy, and for it to be filling too. I'd say they have the best Greek salad I've ever had. This place is terrible compared to any other cava I have been to. Showed up for a 7:15 pick up order, 3 guys standing around and 1 working. Yet my meal isn't ready the manager comes around makes some moves 7:21 still no update on my order or apology so I go ask... are you the manager. Yes this is a horrible experience I show up people are standing around any now my order is about 10 mins late! I was polite and let him know my frustration you think he would at least check that my order wasn't completely messed up! Ohh no he gave zero care neither did his staff. Missing pita bread, missing all sauces, paid for extra meat got none literally waste of money seeing as I paid for way more than I got! Also when I let the manager know it wasn't expectable he said sorry we are new! You won't let long with this level of service. JOKE! read more

Customer service is terrible at this location. Employees are not attentive at all. Very unorganized. They were out of a lot of ingredients and were not helpful or empathetic. I asked if there were any roasted vegetables and I was very rudely told no. Every employee was dragging their feet despite the long line. I love Cava. While in Dallas for work, I was craving my usual so we found this location. There was a bit of a wait but I was impressed by the manager. I don't usually do reviews but I have to give credit where credit is due: They were short staffed (like most places these days) and slammed with customers (because the food rocks) and we were in a hurry. The manager explained the situation, comped our drinks, and was an absolute delight in the midst of what he was working with. His name was unique so I can't remember it but kudos to whoever was managing around 1pm last Monday! We need more of you these days, sir! read more

Very poor dining experience today. The food was just not good. In fact, I've given this restaurant a few tries -- it was better when it first opened than it is now. Two of the three employees that helped me were friendly and working hard to expedite the process. One, the cashier, was not. In fact, he was rude to me and to one of his co-workers. When this restaurant first opened, it offered military veteran discounts. I remember thinking the owners were generous, indeed. And so I asked the cashier if they still offered this discount. He rudely said they did not. I mentioned they had back when they first opened; he reiterated that they don't now. His co-worker mentioned an option (she certainly didn't need to as I had no expectation...but it was kind of her); he shut her down in front of me and others. I could see her frustration. The face of this restaurant is damaged by disgruntled members, such as this cashier. And the food just wasn't up to par. I won't be back anytime soon. read more

Came in to get dinner with my boyfriend. Wasn't greeted by anyone, the girl who took my order wasn't welcoming at all, wasn't willing to walk me through how things work. When I asked what of the proteins were vegan I got told she didn't know and she made no effort to ask other employees if they knew. I paid for mine and my boyfriends bowl before they had even started my boyfriends bowl because the girl gave me no option the proceeded to charge my boyfriend for the avocado he got but they forgot to charge for. Work on the costumer service and this place would be amazing. Train your staff to be welcoming, it's the small things that make costumers happy. read more

Don't order from this restaurant with UberEats! I ordered lunch before noon and they said delivery would be in 30 minutes. Then after accepting the order Cava changed the estimated delivery to 1:25 p.m. which is over 1.5 hours after the order. They refused to refund my money saying they had already begun preparation. This place had so much potential when it first opened but went downhill QUICK. Customer service is severally lacking, employees have horrible attitudes and don't even acknowledge you. They always act like they don't even want to take your order. It doesn't matter what time of day it is but they are always out of several of the toppings and they never make more? How do you run out of things mid afternoon and just decide you don't need to make any more? I'm not sure who is in charge of running the place but they need to reevaluate their staff. i ordered two bowls from this location on the night before thanksgiving. i placed my order using the app, i've done this plenty and had no issues before. this night when i got home my order was incomplete. the toppings had been left off both bowls. i called when i noticed and spoke to an employee he told me to come back in and i declined as it had started raining and i didn't want to go back out. i asked for a refund he said he couldn't approve it and i needed to speak to a manager. he put the phone down and left me there for 6 or 7 minutes. i called back and got the same employee. this time he said he didn't know why the manager didn't answer. i then heard her telling him in the background that she didn't have time to talk on the phone. i asked again and she kept yelling that she wasn't getting on the phone. the employee then put the phone down without telling me anything. i heard them in the background talking. the store wasn't busy, she (the manager) just didn't want to help with customers. i called back on friday, and was met with a different manager. he didn't apologize just told me to call support because it's been 24 hours. he said he wasn't from that store and he was there because the store management was so poor. he cut me off without listening. and tried to turn the story around on me. he was just as bad as the other manager. i then asked for supports phone number, he said let me see if i can find it. this store is ran by incompetent management. all of them need to be retrained and taught how to deal with customers. i would be ashamed if i was the person in charge of hiring and training this staff. read more
