I placed my lunch order just after 8 AM, for a 11:45 AM pickup. The food wasn't ready until 20 mins past the promised time, it was not prepared with all the ingredients I asked for, and pita was not included despite being a part of my order. (I ended up having to drive back to the restaurant to get pita.) In speaking with others waiting for pickup, some had been waiting for over 30 minutes for pickup. Judging from other reviews, this is a trend for this CAVA location. While the front counter seemed to be funneling customers through quickly, those of us waiting for online orders had to watch a staff member (presumably the manager) through the kitchen window filling up sauce/dressing bottles and other tasks that quite frankly should be done before business hours... Please focus on serving your customers when they're present! Despite missing ingredients, the food was decent, though it was cold. I probably will not be back given this experience. (This was my first visit!!) If you're planning on picking up food on your lunch break, don't bother unless you have an hour to burn. read more

Love this spot for some fresh, healthy "fast" food but I would agree the customer service is lacking. I'm 22, also in the service industry and am a bartender at a restaurant just around the corner so I know what it's like. However, in one of my recent visits I was ordering before work so I used the curbside feature on the app. Set my pickup time for 3:30, notified in the app that I had arrived, and began to wait in my designated spot as the app had said. 3:42 and still no one has come out with my order. When I called and notified them I was outside, the man on the phone said "You're supposed to call when you get here. It says in the app. (No it didn't lol) Or you could've just came inside." Doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of curbside? lmfao I'm not one to never return to a place after one little inconvenience, especially if the food is bomb asf. Just think these things should be taken note of so y'all don't drive away repeat customers with repeat crappy service. Will be back for sure! Won't use the app tho. read more

So frustrating to keep doing this to myself...don't bother with online orders!! Multiple times I order online and arrive to find my order not ready on time, but even worse they don't get around to starting it til after I've been there several minutes. People can walk in and get their food faster than the online order I places 20-30min prior. This is my kind of place! Healthy, fresh, and affordable! I seriously want to try every ingredient. You build your own Mediterranean bowl/salad/pita and they also have seasonal bowls you can order which look delicious as well. They offer a wide variety of juices. I tried to cucumber mint and strawberry citrus. Both are fresh and not over the top sweet. I want to try the blueberry lavender next. This is my new go to takeout place. read more

This place offers much too little seating. I would come more often if I didn't think I'd have to stand around staring awkwardly at people just sitting and chatting. It also doesn't help that two employees were taking up a table for 4 at prime lunch time. Wouldn't you rather customers come and eat here? I love this place for the food and honestly this location is managed so poorly. All the staff is obliviously high or under the influence every time we arrive. They take orders from people in line versus the online orders people placed in advance. They are always out of inventory several hours before they close or even just on a regular day. I absolutely love cava for what it is but it's too expensive for this location to be so unprofessional and unprepared it's just ridiculous when it comes to good service. We normally have to drive across town bordering Frisco to their location for us to be able to enjoy cava. read more

food is good but please tell me why, at such a busy location, they lock the doors 15 mins early? if your establish stays open until 10 then stay open until 10. I really don't know how to write this review. We have eaten/gotten take-out from this place so many times before, but my experience yesterday will make us never come back. My husband and I came to have lunch with my elderly parents (my mother uses a walker). We got in line, while we allowed them to sit down, and standing through the line would have been difficult for them. There were plenty of tables, so were not taking up one needlessly. We were informed by one of the staff in line that we were not allowed to order "so many items." I then pointed to my parents and stated that we were getting food for my elderly parents, at which point, I was told that we should only order take-out from now on. As a physician who takes care of people who have mobility problems, I found this completely unbelievable. I am very saddened, but will never go back, as I simply cannot condone this type of unforgiveable behavior. read more

Worst restaurant experience I've had in a long time. There were two younger guys working behind the counter eating and drinking with their rubber gloves on and taking orders at the same time. They would leave and wander around and come back but not say a word. One even walked out from behind the counter and stepped in front of us to get his drink while he was working. We ordered two kids pitas and they couldn't even make them correctly...they just made little piles of food on the plate with a piece of pita on top. The woman at the cash register told them they made them wrong but didn't correct it. Did not even want to finish my food. The customer service here is absolutely abhorrent. Clarissa was very rude and unprofessional. The whole time she was speaking to us, I couldn't tell who wanted to leave more, us or her. I've worked in the customer service industry for years and this poor girl obviously hates her job, to the point it made me hate being there for the time it took to have my bowl made.
