Upon arriving, there was about 3 parties ahead of me and the entire bakery filled the air with smell of egg tarts and various pastries. I was just in heaven at that moment. I was immediately asked if I needed help, but of course I didn't know where to start so it took me awhile until I had to decide. I ended up ordering 10 of their Portuguese egg tart, 3 of their cheese tarts, and 3 of their coconut tart. Portuguese egg tart - 5/5 there seemed to be some differences between the ones in the baking paper vs the tin one with their texture, but overall it was creamy, eggy, and I want to say the tin one was flakier and crunchier than the baking paper ones but still very delicious. For $0.95/ea, that's such a steal! Cheese tarts - 4.5/5 it was very rich and creamy. There was some minor graininess to it, but nothing horrible. There was a hint of lemon which added lightness and acidity to the tart. This one was $1.75/ea Coconut tart - 3/5 Overall I thought there should've been something to compliment the coconut, but it was a bit overwhelming to me. Texture is fine, but I feel it should have another flavor to balance the entire tart. I do want to come back and try the other pastries and what they have to offer. Everything there looked divine and so cute! My total for everything was under $30 and well worth for a small party or potluck you may be attending.

The pastry was flakey on all of them. The cheese tart was not so memorable, so I'd stick to the coconut and egg tarts. Come here for an affordable sweet treat. The guy before me bought 24 egg tarts. Luckily, they had some ready in the kitchen so I didn't have to wait long for my small order. Parking is on the street or a short walk to the city parking lot.

For food, I had the avocado toast, which was interesting because it was on some kind of bollilo bread, very crisp on the outside, but soft and chewy on the inside. The avocado was great and the crispy pumpkin seeds added a nice crunch. It came with a small side salad, which was also delicious with fresh fruit on it. I tried the crispy cookie, and gave it to a friend later, and they really loved it. The owner's wife bakes all the goods here. There's a small parking lot out front, but also the train station is right outside, making this a great spot for commuters.

I needed a bday cake and decided to order the strawberry shortcake, because it looked so pretty. The cake was a hit with the family. The frosting was super light, the filling is one layer of custard and the other of light whipped cream and berries. The sponge is moist, the cake is not sweet, but decadent in its creamy texture. The inside of the store is aesthetically appealing, traditional glass cases showcase the pan. I'm so glad to have a nearby bakery and cake shop!

They had a balloon arch outside to signal to the community that they are celebrating something special as well. The lady out front shared with me what they had to offer, and she also mentioned that they do catering! I like my coffee strong but also on the sweet side. When I asked for the stronger option, I was recommended to get the cappucino rather than the latte and they can make the caffeine a little bit more concentrated without sacrificing the flavor. The cookies were a little dry for my taste but maybe it was because the samplers were sitting outside for a little too long. I would go back just to try the breakfast sandwich, but the experience of grabbing food was pretty fast and the food was flavorful enough! Both of these have flaky, buttery exterior shells that are wonderful to bite into. For cakes, I love the strawberry soft cream cake. This cake is simple, light, and not too sweet. The thin layers of vanilla, soft cream, and strawberries blend excellently together. I appreciate that they provide free candles with whole cakes.
