The flavors at this restaurant are actually pretty good. A few tweaks here and I think they will easily be a four star or higher in my opinion. I ordered multiple different things from the menu. The roti with curry had excellent flavor however I feel if they made the curry a little bit thicker it would be better to dip and enjoy. Mine was very very runny water like almost so dipping it Was not as enjoyable and didn't get a lot of the flavor to stick to the roti. The sausage was excellent as to be expected. The steak and noodles was about average. The meat did not have as much seasoning or flavor as I would like however, it was tender. The noodles had a little kick to it and had more of a zesty tangy twist to it. that was OK. For me I would've enjoyed a lot of more robust Asian flavors here. The chicken wings which flavor wise was my absolute favorite. They were crispy. They had the flavor there the only thing that really disappointed me I believe the order was supposed to come with eight however five out of my eight pieces seem like they were in a car accident. It seemed like some were half of the flat that got I have no idea what happened to these wings, but they were just a balled up messed up bones and meat that were crunched into each other. I would've appreciated if they put more whole complete portions of the wing than I have no idea what was left after it came out of a grinder. Overall, I will give this place a shot again because the flavor from the wings so far was amazing. read more

WOW!!! What an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal, we ordered the grilled shrimp pad Thai (noodles were perfectly chewy), the Thai sausage (not sour and perfectly seasoned), crispy pork Chinese broccoli (had the perfect crunch, and smokiness), and the yen ta fo soup (first time having it and definitely coming back for more!). Amazing service from my man Paul and the authentic Thai crew, but my favorite part was the Si Foo sauce, a fish sauce chimichurri style green sauce that went amazing with seafood and meats. This place used to be Thai Silk, but new owners came in and rehabilitated the whole restaurant and making it much bigger and much more open and airy. The food is delicious and has gotten even better the longer they have been open. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of booths and tables in the expanded dining room. MID MID MID. I'm not surprised that the pictures of the food they have and the reviews they have are high if that's the best Thai food Long Beach has to offer . The service was lacking , we had to wait about a half hour to receive our food . The kao soi was a 7/10 chicken was soft but the curry was more sweet than any spice to it . We also had the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork , which was a 5/10 mediocre at best very small portions for paying $20 for a plate with 7 pieces of pork max . Overall I will continue to make my drive to the San Fernando Valley for my Thai food as the service is quick , and they don't over charge you for a plate that's half full unlike this place . We ordered the yen ta fo (seafood noodle), crispy pork chinese broccoli (the flavor is on point!), pad thai (they used dry stick noodle which is always better!), and thai sausage! The tofu pad Thai and pineapple chicken fried rice was decent. The Kao Soi was also good but their noodle portion was small. They need to add more noodles and not charge extra for ordering more noodles. They have this green sauce that they have on the side was pretty good. The guy working up front was super friendly. Not the cheapest but prices are very reasonable for portion sizes. I ate half the pad Thai + half the shrimp appetizer tonight.
