We made a quick decision to stop here and were quickly seated in a cozy booth upon arriving. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure our orders were up to our standards. It was our first visit to a Cheddar's and we enjoyed everything we ordered. All of the food was delicious! The trip was worth it for the croissants alone. I can't wait to go back and try more things from the menu!

Cheddars is a place to grab a hot, delicious meal for a great price. The quality of the food isn't the best or the worst. It's surprising, good compared to other restraunts that have similar prices. The inside of the restraunt looks really nice. It looks similar to a fancy steakhouse. I usually order the chicken pot pie since it's something unique and tasty. If you want a good meal at a good price, Cheddars is one place I would recommend trying out.

Our late lunch was very tasty. The hamburger was huge. Crispy chicken strip salad was large & fresh. The grilled lemon pepper chicken breast was great with broccoli & green beans. Our service was on point & everything was clean. The croissant was hot & crispy. All so good- loved it.

I can always count on this place to be consistent with food. It's a go to. My favorite dish is the spasagna. Ask for half Alfredo and half meat sauce.. delish! The spinach dip and chips and salsa are great too! I don't recommenced the ribs tho. The only downside is they are a little slow for lunch, not rushed at all, which isn't good for work purposes but good if your just enjoying a lunch.

Husband had chicken fried steak, REAL Mashed potatoes & a Caesar salad.

We were hungry after running an errand and decided to stop by. I checked the reviews and almost decided to turn back. I'm so glad we didn't. Our server was wonderful! She smiled as she took our order and made sure she took our order just right. We immediately got our order. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, just like I love it! Our salad was crisp and fresh and our drinks were amazing! I just wanted to make sure it was clear that this was an amazing place with great leadership and service. The manager checked in on us twice. Service doesn't cost a thing. You can choose to treat customers like they matter or like they are a nuisance. Cheddars really got it right! Thank you!

I love Cheddars but will not return to the Baytown location. If you are a a Houston sports fan do not go here. My family went to dine here so we could watch the Houston Astros game while we eat. We had to ask 4 times to the tv on the game. All the tvs were on a hockey game. After asking several times, they did change the channel to the basketball ball game. They 4th and final time and midway through our meal , we finally able to barley see the Astros game. The manager didn't really care. Oh, did I mention, our food order was initially incorrect before later changed. All those tvs...‍

Finally we were seated...I was noticing the hostess did acknowledge another party several times smiling and chatting as we waited for someone to notice we been just sitting there. We are non white and ugh this is Baytown, smh. Finally realized this might be the reason! I must say it's EXPENSIVE for cold/ bad food and Horrible SERVICE. We stood waiting for a table about 6 mins or so while the hostess was passing food to other patrons/ and chatting . Finally she the hostess attended in seating my self and three others. She was not polite looked at us pissed off and seemed agitated. I must add we were the only ones in line and it was not crowded. OK , so We were finally seated. It took 20 mins or so before our order was taken. We waited for 45 minutes for our food to be given, and it was cold, not even warm! I asked the hostess also waitresses helper , for an item, yes the one who seated us ... she rolled her eyes and sighed. Clear agitation/frustrated. I told our actual waitress that not only was the hostess not hospitable (RUDE) but our food was cold after the long wait they were supposed to be cooking it. It didn't arrive hot. She said we can reheat the food and the hostess is just overwhelmed. How do you take that out on the patrons... I am paying for my services, my food... and myself and my party are the ones who suffer the wrath.. So At this time as we'd been waiting a VERY long time...we ate the cold food...and accepted the fact we were just give the worst service. For $85 for crappie food and very poor service it is what it is. Just won't ever dine here again.

It is a small town diner essentially located in the Highlands. Not a very big space. Not sure what to do we grabbed menus and sat down no greeter or host at the front. I knew I wanted the po-boy and that is what I ordered, my wife got the shrimp basket, and our daughter ordered the steak finger basket. Our meal took a while to come out and what came out was not a shrimp po-boy. It was a shrimp sandwich on Texas toast. I looked at it and told the server that is not a po-boy. She said they were out of the hoagie rolls and that was a sub for the bread it would have been courteous to let me know before I ordered this that this was what was being offered. Unfortunately I had to send it back and order the basket instead and I do not like doing that. No tartar or ketchup was sent out with the meal and had to ask for it. They sent out room temperature tartar sauce in an already handled bottle by other guests which to me was not very sanitary. Will not be back. Also the prices do not match online or what was on the video. Good luck coming here :(

We asked for a high chair on 4 different occasions with 4 different people all ignored me and didnt follow up with status, took approximately 30 minutes to receive after asking for manager to express my concerns. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Requested to sit for a party of ten but instead we were sat in a part of "five times two", where our party couldn't sit together and enjoy mothers day , but instead had to not speak to each other because of the distance, or stare at each others backs since of the seating arrangements we didn't request. Parents and children couldn't sit together cause of arrangement, it was pretty much a S Show. Additionally, waiter took approximately 20 mins to come to take our initial order, and all the wait staff were milling around in clusters talking in groups while we were waiting to be seen. African American lady next to me claimed she waited 20+ minutes to be seen by the waiter. Finally waiter came and randomly asked "are you being attended to", basically telling us nobody has been assigned to your table. To sum up the rest of the experience, Ticket time was below average (slow), took approximately 30 mins, ordered waters with lemon on the side, lemons came in the waters. Smh. When i asked for a manager at the podium/wait area to avoid not make a scene at the table to help with our seating arrangements, manager came to table and basically implied that i am complaining (in front of the whole table and other guests/ embarrassing) and "sorta-kinda" said we cant sit together because wheelchair reasons eventhough another party of 10 was well accommodated before our visit and after our visit. This whole thing caused a huge scene in which could of been avoided if they sat us down appropriately to our request of a party of 10 and provided us a high chair upon our first request; or better yet simply acknowledge you can't accommodate us before dissapointing us after the fact. When I advised the waitress, Norma, that this was the worst visit, she mentioned it to the manager on duty, Dina, but Dina didn't want to come to our table. That is terrible coming from a manager. If you're going to be running a restaurant, it doesn't matter if it's closing; you should show you care about the customers and handle the issue. This is not great management, and the district manager or whoever is in charge should know about stuff like this. Friend said his Baked Stuffed Shrimp was good. I had the Mahi Mahi with the Pontchartain sauce. The fish was dry. The sauce was bland and seemed like the recipe was not yet finished. I didn't eat much, asked for a to go bag as I LOVE leftovers, but frankly it was not good enough to take home. The veggies were good but who takes home only the veggies without the main course? We were a party of two and were given one roll though we had two cinnamon rolls which were also good. I ordered a Lemon Drop Martini and it arrived less than half full. I have never received a half a glass Lemon Drop martini. I noticed others ordering the Lemon Drop martinis an all had a full martini glass. Since I had only 1/2 of a martini, I ordered another with the request of a full glass martini. The other glass was a little bit more filled than the first one. Really odd and the taste was not worth the effort of ordering. I noticed the Lemon Drop Martini came with a surcharge. Meaning I was billed for the martini and then another misc charge. I have never been charged a surcharge for a Lemon Drop martini. The menu does not say there is a surcharge. Charge what you are going to charge on one line, in total, like everyone else does OR explain yourself and teach the 20 year old server the answer so she is aware and can share with her customers. So I asked for the manager. Cameron huffed on over like he was in a super bad mood and serving up a huge dose of bad attitude unbecoming of a restaurant manager. Cameron came over all loaded for bear and went to the wrong table. . Funniest thing ever and I wish I had that on video. I politely inquired about the surcharge for the Lemon Drop martini and was told "that's the way it's been for 8 years and we are not going to change it for you." Apparently when you order the menu item of a Lemon Drop martini you are charged for a shot PLUS the up charge of placing the shot into a martini glass. None of this is explained on the menu. Perhaps state that when ordered because I don't work for Monument Inn and am not privvy to this special wackadoodle way of charging their customers for a martini listed on the menu. Then to be almost attacked as Cameron was apparently perturbed that a paying customer had the audacity to question about this insane way of pricing. I had enough of his belligerent and argumentative behavior because Cameron was doubling down with his less than stellar attitude. As such, I told Cameron he was about the rudest person I have encountered in this service industry and dismissed him. No customer deserves that kind of treatment. Thank Cameron's inappropriate interaction for the one star which Yelp forces us to give. Otherwise I'd not given a star at all. Cameron's nastiness ruined the entire experience. Well that and the overcooked fish with the lackluster Pontchartain sauce. Stick to their fried food menu items which is where this place shines. Oh and don't order the Lemon Drop martini.
