Came in on a Monday night around 6:00. Sat in the bar area in a booth. The bartender was taking care of all tables in the bar area as well as the many people sitting at the bar so she was busy. She got our drinks right away ( a $5 presidente margarita and a $4 house margarita as part of their happy hour) and then we ordered appetizers. I grew up going to Chili's and their chips and salsa is always a go for me as far as appetizers go. My boyfriend wanted to switch it up a bit so we got chips, salsa AND queso. I've never been a huge fan of their queso but since it came with salsa I said eh lets do it. It was OK. Just OK. We then got the molten chocolate lava cake for dessert because who comes to chilis and only drinks presidente margaritas, eats chips and salsa and gets desert? US! The chocolate cake was AMAZING per usual but I honestly think more amazing than I have ever had. We were there for happy hour which surprisingly runs later than I remember so there were a ton of deals on drinks, and apps. The place has recently been redone as I think many Chili's have and im glad because a couple of years ago I really thought they were on their way down. Would definitely come back. read more

Greatest bar in my neighborhood fun people and everybody there was great I will definitely try to visit more often I met some great people there plus it is the local bar of the world renound band bloodload they hang out there often apparently so I'm in !!!! read more

We live nearby and have eaten at this location for many years. The last two times ordered take out has been subpar and very disappointing. My husband and I ordered chicken salads....one buffalo and the other quesadilla explosion. The chicken had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours....very dried out. The quesadillas were so over heated and non appetizing. Doesn't the manager monitor the kitchen and quality served? Going to think twice before ordering again. This rating is generous - terrible overall. I walked in and along with a few other people waiting to be seated we all left. Came here late one night for drinks and appetizers with a friend. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the service we had, we sat at the bar. There's nothing wrong with the beer, it was cold and delicious. The problem was the food, and how obvious it was that it was frozen and not properly served. We ordered "fresh" guacamole, pretty sure they have a glorified picture of it on their menu. It was brought out in time and placed before us. Then came time to eat. After about half of it was gone I dipped my chip and it cracked on something hard, a ball of frozen guacamole. I mean, I understand, it's not table side guacamole but seriously. After we shoved that aside we ordered the triple dipper with chicken tenders, sliders, and the southwestern egg rolls. The sliders were cooked and were okay, and so was the egg rolls, but the chicken tenders were tiny and tasted microwaved. We rolled our eyes and both agreed to leave since it was late and try our luck elsewhere. Didn't have an awful experience, just won't be bringing my wife ever as she would have returned everything, except the beer, that was crisp and refreshing, just wish the food wasn't that dissatisfying. read more

This is a "sad" Chili's, stuck in some by gone era that should stay there. I want to like this place, mainly because it's my neighborhood Chili's. But first off, continuing to allow smoking inside is about as 1960's greasy spoon diner as you can get. Second, it's always slow and there is never anyone there. Now, happily, the food I've got there has always seemed to be pretty good, although the last set of ribs I purchased was the worst and most depressing set of ribs I've ever had. For being so close to our house, rest assured, we "should" be eating there more often, but given it's quality, that won't be happening. It would be awesome to see something else take it's place. read more

Awful. Didn't stay to eat. Walked in and you are hit with smoke from the bar. But when you go to restaurant side it doesn't smell as bad. Hostess was completely disinterested and very unfriendly seating us at a table that had visible wet seats and still the seats were dirty with corn chips. So we figured if they were that disinterested in making a decent impression we didn't want to test the food. Went to Skeeter's Grill in Cochran's Crossing. SO much better! read more

I've eaten at Chili's all over the world (yes, they have Chili's in other countries) and this one is hand's down the worst one I have ever eaten at. If I could give it zero stars I would. Corporate really needs to come in, review and inspect, and bring in new management. The poor kid who was our waiter (maybe 16 or 17) was totally not trained and clueless which is a huge reflection on management. There were literally 4 other tables in the ENTIRE restaurant at dinner (around 6pm). I ordered the grilled chicken salad. The chicken was cold. Like really cold. I asked the waiter if it's normally supposed to be this cold (I usually get this salad and the chicken is warm). He took it back to the kitchen and comes back 15 minutes later to tell me "oh sorry, I threw it away and the kitchen is like really backed up now because we have a group of 28 coming in and we can remake your salad but it's going to be awhile". Ummm seriously? You've got to freaking kidding me. We just asked for the bill and the salad had at least been taken off by the manager. However, not one time did the manager come to our table to apologize. I asked where the manager was and the waiter said he's outside in a call and he was busy. Nice. Too busy to assist his customers. When we left, the party of 28 hadn't even shown up. This is our neighborhood Chili's so it's sad that we will now go to the one in Magnolia just because it's managed in a much more professional manner and they at least properly cook the food. read more

Warning!!!! This location has altered their "tip" calculator. Check the bottom of your bill for tip suggestions. The 15% does not calculate out correctly. When we brought it to their attention all that was said was "oh, you caught us, thanks". No apology, no mention of changing the amounts. Just be aware. read more

Ordered takeout via online app. Drove all the way to the restaurant then 10 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready I was told they were out of salmon, which was the only thing I really wanted. Then they tried to charge me For salmon instead of the burger that was substituted for the the salmon. Morale: don't order take out from here on a busy restaurant night. read more

My sister, who is a military veteran, passed away recently. We decided to cater the memorial. I was unsure about the cost and ordering process. I contacted Chili's in The Woodlands. The management staff was amazing. The recommended Fajitas for 30 people. They put me in contact with the closest Chili's, Tomball, and talked me through the process. This was extremely helpful in my moment of grief. When I arrived to pick-up the order at Tomball, the staff was amazing. I actually left the store without 1/2 my order. While driving to the memorial I received a phone call from The Woodlands management informing me of my mistake. They offered to personally deliver the order to The VFW in Tomball. The staffs caring, professional demeanor and excellent customer service is a credit to Chili's around the world. Thank you for hiring personnel with such amazing attitudes. On March 17 2019 we visited Chill's for the second time, and I think we are done with this restaurant. Last time, we were waiting for somebody to meet us and show to the table probably 15 min. This time, we also had to wait for a host for a few mins. It looks like they never have anybody at the front... I ordered the drink, but also asked for water. Water never was served even after I asked for the water for the second time when the food arrived. I was promised an ice-cream as a little treat for my birthday which our waiter forgot to serve. He showed up once and then disappeared forever. My daughter had to stand up to look for somebody to help us with the bill and to go boxes ... Another associate told her that our waiter in the back, but she would help us... She also brought an cream. It was around 3 p.m., and they were not busy at all. Probably our waiter had very important work to do at the back which is O.K., but next time we will go somewhere where waiters work with the clients, not at the back... Regarding food - just ordinary food - nothing special I just was upset mostly because my daughter felt bad for taking me to this restaurant read more

Nasty place! I had a nail in my salad! I am thankful I didn't break a tooth. The management gave me gift card for a free meal which I appreciate. At the same time I don't have it in me to go back. This place has such a genuine staff that really seem to just want your visit to be a good/stress free one. I had the chicken and steak fajitas and they turned out delicious! Wouldnt even be able to tell they're not from a real Mexican restaurant. Definitely will be back shortly! read more

This location is by far the worst chili's i have ever been to. I ordered the steak quesadillas. After my first bite, I noticed there was not much taste beside flour tortilla. I opened it up and barely saw cheese and a a microscopic piece of meat. Upon examining the rest of them, I was very disappointed. Hardly any meat or cheese on any of them. My wife was working late one night last week so my daughter and I went to this Chilis for dinner because it is close to our house. No host or hostess at the front and we waited literally over 5 minutes for someone else to finally stop and ask if they could help. We were seated and at the time 6 tables were occupied at the time. 2 waitresses were on duty. Over 8 minutes elapsed before the waitress handling the far section stopped by and took our orders. Overall, our waitress actually waited on us once. The same person did not visit our table twice. The restaurant smelled musty, food was greasy and slow to arrive and service deplorable. read more

Every time I visit this location (3 times a year) I promise myself it will be the last time. My most recent visit is certainly it. Service is consistently slow; friendly enough, but slow. Maybe I'm supposed to get refills using the electronic device on the table? Who knows? That whole thing is confusing. At any rate, I'm just glad I had a gift card for this visit so I didn't actually have to pay for anything. Also, based on the feedback I gave on the in-restaurant survey, my guess would be the results are seen immediately by the server. Chelsey must not have been pleased I did not give her high marks, although she instructed me to do so (yes that really happened). It's important to note that she acted annoyed in spite of 15% tip which is much less that my normal and more than she earned.
