I come once a month to this Chilis with friends to try their Marg of the Month. I've always had friendly, attentive service and have never had a problem with the food or drinks. I do wish they had more vegetarian or fish based items on the menu, but let's be honest... I'm coming for the margaritas ;)

First Impressions: Food looked piping hot and fresh! So far so good :) (At least that was what I was thinking). Interactions: This was a take-out order. Service: The lady was very nice when picking up the food and thanked me kindly. Always a pleasure to be greeted, small gestures go a long way. Food: It's been years since I've last had Chili's and every time I went, I always went with the tried and true Honey Chipotle Crispers. It smacked! I loved every second of every bite and it was just as good as I remembered. They really have the formula down with the crispers! Value: I think we paid roughly around 17-19 after taxes, and I will definitely say this! The amount of food is insane and well worth the price, IMO. Recommendation: If your in the mood for good crispers, that are saucy, crispy and just good comfort food! You won't skip a beat here. I'll definitely be making my way back.

I came here with my family on Veteran's Day, and my dad was able to enjoy a free meal as a veteran. I tried their 3 for $10.99 deal and ordered the Big QP Burger, mashed potatoes, a salad, and a Sprite. The burger was really good, but the mashed potatoes tasted sour. The salad was fresh, and I really liked their ranch. Adriana was an excellent server.

Charged $9 to remake burger sliders on a trio meal deal

We got a trio deal meal for both of us. Sliders had to be remade, the server said "I'll take care of that for you no problem" ... just saw on my receipt bro charged me $9 to remake the sliders? Not chill man.

Service was fast in the bar area! Great service and price on margaritas of the month.

Take out from this place is horrible! Cajun pasta wasn't that good and look wise not the same one from the website! Can't believe I bought it for my young teen daughter she was sad seeing it! Step it up and asking for a tip for carry out? What did you do step up my bag?? Smh never going back! 2/10 grilled chicken was pretty good tho!

We got there and there were no low top tables available inside (needed a high chair), so we had to sit outside. It was completely empty outside. The hostess led us to a table and chairs that were soaked by the misters. She acted like it was fine. There was only one other low top outside. We went to it and there were tons of red ants crawling all around the ground and up the table and chair legs. Also a bunch of leaves and debris. The whole time going from table 1 to table 2, then noticing and commenting on the ants, the hostess was right there. No apology or attempt to clean anything up. Just standing there awkwardly, watching us take in the disappointment. It was clear the outside was not cleaned or even looked at in quite some time, and that would not change, so we left. We went to Lil Abners instead. As soon as we got there, we realized our terrible experience at Growlers was a blessing in disguise. The drink deals are better and cheaper at Lil Abners anyway. Plus, despite a staff of mostly high school and college age kids, they actually do a good job of making sure you have a good experience. And of course, the food is a million times better. So long Growlers. We won't be back.

Wondering why a brewery with kids? Well, half of this place is a giant game room filled with old and new pinball machines, a pool table, a couple video games, foosball, a boxing game and shuffleboard. I met Jim, the awesome bartender on duty, who told me some really net stuff about the place and gave me a limited tour of the brewing room. I tried the CDO Blonde beer, which is fitting for this blonde CDO grad. I thought it was really good. Jim explained that they don't add sugar to their brewing process, and instead their natural flavor options serve as the sugars in brewing. Things like fruits, flowers and nuts take the place of added sugar. The pinball machines are very fun, but I have to say the boxing machine was the highlight for the teenage boys in our group. Seeing who hit hardest was all the rage. Catalina Brewing Company takes their beer on the run, or should I say mountain biking trails, to serve to people at events, which sounds fun. There some neat history in this place. I hear they have trivia nights as well. They are family friendly, serving sodas as well. They make cocktails with wine converted to various types of "liquor ". Overall I thought this was a great place I'd go back to in a heartbeat. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and parking. It was clean and best of all, cool in the summertime. Check out the walls when you're there, including the bathroom walls, for funny memorabilia.

The outdoor batting cages are an added draw making it seemingly a family-friendly environment. We have been to Home Plate around 8 times in the past 1.5 years. So, by no means am I basing my opinion on a single visit. The food is basic bar food with nothing special about it. I can do better at home. Our last time eating there, my family had hamburgers. They were extremely messy and fair at best. The service has never been "fast" noreven attentive. With wages being fairly high in AZ, service will often suffer due to understaffing. My wife and I went to Home Plate last night to watch some preseason football. It appeared that a couple new bartenders were in training. A red-headed woman who appeared to be the trainer was incredibly rude to the trainees who approached her for some direction. A) Terrible condescending way to train B) Never put an employee down and definitely don't berate them in front of customers. I was surprised that the bartender in training didn't walk out. Later in the evening something transpired in the side room which was handled by this same worker yelling from the bar to the people in that room using expletives. Where is the Customer Service? Where is basic decency and tact? After last night, my wife and I were in agreement that we deserve a more professional sport's bar experience. At a minimum, I shouldn't have to bear witness to public shaming of a new employee. On a side note: I did find it uncomfortable that a large centrally located TV was always tuned to Newsmax regardless of it being a Sport's Bar. MAGA recruitment tool or perhaps conversion therapy for Trump Derangement Syndrome?
