Food was bland, sushi selection is REALLY downgraded & old, funky smell for the sesame balls, dry & soggy plantains, fruits sliced with a taste of unwashed knife, water for hot tea tasted like medicine so you can't even taste the jasmine tea. Then adding insult to injury is coming home 20 minutes later begging for mercy in the restroom. Why do you have to pay for food that will just make you sick? I called them back the same day for my experience and they're in denial claiming that they cook their food fresh. BALONEY!!!! Do they think we don't have taste buds? Terrible food. RUDE MANGER VERY MEAN. we went at 8:15 and we don't know they close at 9:00 after we had one plate we try to get another one it's no food small amount and very cold. We asked if they wants to put more food, they said about to close and that's the only left. The BAD RUDE MANGER CAME OUT and tell me you can leave she didn't want to put a new food. I told her I'm not leaving you have to put more food, you should told us wen we walk in You close at 9:00 and that's the only food left we not making a new food. This is one of the worst buffets I've ever been to. Seafood is mushy and smells odd, meat is very salty, and if it isn't any of those things then it's really greasy. Pastries are stale and the ice cream is pretty good. read more

This place isn't the greatest or one of the best buffets that there is but it is some place to be able to eat for a cheap price. At the Santa Ana grill buffet there is a lot more options and better food quality, you could get some raw foods and ask someone to cook it for you right there and then, they have much more dessert dishes that are much better. Terrible food. Putting a block of melting cheese on an asparagus pile is not food. Putting cream cheese in rice is not good sushi. 10 pounds of mayonnaise on shrimp is not great food. The roast chicken was clearly raw and bloody. Sushi was bland. A significant amount of the dishes looked disturbing and were an unrecognizable mush. Alot of the foods tasted like they were reheated or were processed and store bought. The only flavor you can enjoy is the cheap fortune cookie and the soda. read more

I got sick and my digestive system has been suffering 2 or more days now. Notable things that may have caused this was a piece of meat that was cold, and I didn't bother to finish it. Maybe the sushi section? One or more (I wasn't paying attention) staff were attentive to us, refilling and taking away our dirty plates once we finished. I've read some reviews that some staff were staring at the customer and Ive got a feeling I was been watch in my peripheral vision when I was walking around to get my food. This was just not worth it. I rather just go to a Chinese fast food joint and pay $6-$8. Restaurant was old like it has been there for a while. 1st time at this place. The food was okay, variety was good but it was kind of bland & not fresh. For example, the shrimp was way too soft & the avocado in the sushi tasted old. The workers that I encountered did not seem friendly at all & they weren't very attentive. I feel as if they were giving dirty looks. They never smiled & never asked how my meal was or anything. If I believe service is not good, I will not tip, so I didn't. This tall man saw I didn't tip & started talking sh*t... when he came back he started telling me "no tip"...& then something I didn't understand in a very angry tone, i said "i'm sorry what?" & he kept repeating trying to say something about no tip but i couldn't understand so i started walking away.. he then said "next time, no Mr. Nice Guy" to me & my boyfriend. There definitely won't be a next time. I've worked as a server & never complained about not getting a tip even though i gave good service, especially not to a customers face. Service was trash and the food was mediocre. Save your $$ and go elsewhere. read more

This place isn't the best. The food is bland and isn't changed very often when the service is slow (even when it's almost empty). The salad bar items are old, and I wouldn't trust the sushi here, but it's cheap. My number one complaint is that the bathroom here is the worst, it's dirty and badly kept. My husband and I were disappointed with the food, for $13.50 it should have been better. Very little "taste" to anything, i.e. orange chicken, low mein. Low mein was nothing but noodles. I love desserts, nothing tasted sweet, even the complentary fortune cookies were seriously lacking. We won't go there again. read more

I always come here with my parents and usually there's good service but today it was me my brother and a friend and I guess that they didn't trust us and as soon we came in she acted worried or something and convinced us to pay beforehand. After this a guy walked us in and sat us at the wrong table and I had to get up and asks for forks and then guy went to a completely different table that was supposed to be where we sat and got us our utensils and gave them to us. The next thing we didn't like was how we were in the middle of our food and our server came laid the thing that usually comes with u know fortune cookies and the plastic but u know it came without since we paid before we even ate and she pointed at it and was like tip tip tip like a million times because we didn't understand and so we tipped her the last 3 bucks we had. After this the lady started cleaning the table before we were done and before we finished and even got our desert she had already taken our cups for soda spoons and everything. Oh and before I was done I needed to go to the bathroom so u know reasonably I went and when I was in there I ran out of toilet paper and used the toilet seat cover things.
