My first time there was today. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch order to go. When I was handed my order I was immediately alarmed by how light the order was when I picked it up. Mongolian beef was actually pretty tasty but the portion was too small to satisfy my hunger. The fried rice was not very tasty at all and had no vegetables in it whatsoever. I come to Chin's Garden at least 3 times a month. Most times I sit down inside the resturant but this time I got it delivered. Thee biggest mistake I have made. Not only was the sesame chicken under cooked (after a HOUR of delivery time) but I find what seems to a PUBIC hair in the meal. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!! I called and spoke to a manager and needless to say they took care of it. They credited me back the full meal price and the delivery guy came back and picked it up. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Upon walking through the door my fiancé and I were immediately seated. The waiter was polite and pleasant. Our soup came out immediately and our appetizer followed quickly after that. Our main dishes were delicious. I ordered the chicken and vegetables and my fiancé ordered the Mongolian beef dish. Absolutely horrible - the food is consistently inconsistent. Only went there because my friend likes it for lunch - we order the sweet and sour shrimp - the shrimp was over cooked - the egg roll tastes like it was made last week and kept around to serve. I've tried this restaurant 3 times - have no reason to got back. I will say - the sushi roll I had one time was pretty good - but that's not enough motivation to return. Every time my mom orders from here she gets terrible and rude service. The man who handles the orders and the front desk is never friendly and rude for no reason. I have never eaten there but during the holidays when I was home I witnessed such terrible service. We waited an hour for food that we had ordered for pick-up. Awful! Not acceptable! Very good food all around. I always do delivery so I can't comment on How the inside is, but the app sampler is to die for. It has everything and always comes with more than its supposed to. Only reason I can not give it 5 stars is because of the $5.50 delivery charge. Now I always tip my drivers at least $6-$15. Recently, I honestly had one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a while. I went in for a quick lunch and there were maybe three other tables of people there and several waitstaff. I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to take my drink order before I had to flag someone down. The waitress was so cold and only said what do you want. I gave my order of the rangoons and a lunch special with two rolls that included a bagel roll. The rangoons came out with the lunch special 20 minutes later and to say the food was disappointing is an understatement. The rangoons tasted terrible like the oil they were fried in was old and rancid. I asked her what the roll was of the photo attached and she said a bagel roll. I said that's not what a bagel roll is literally at any other sushi place. Go ahead and google what one is, its like a Philly roll with cream cheese. I told her this and she said no, it's a Japanese carrot. Then she said what do you not want it. I said I'd try it. I didn't care for it and asked if I could have something else since it wasn't at all what I was expecting. She proceeded to lecture me on how no I couldn't because the chef took a long time to make it and so on but she'd talk to the manager if I wanted with a big huff and sigh. I said yes please or I can speak to him. She walked less than 10 feet to the register counter to speak to the manager and loudly while looking at me and pointing at me said she's not happy yeah her and she doesn't want it. I was astounded at the incredibly poor customer service. She comes back over and says no we won't change it that's what you ordered. I explained again this isn't a bagel roll and she walked away. She never came back once for drink refill or anything. I did not finish my meal. The manager never came to talk to me or address any part of the situation, nor did he say anything when I paid.
