Got the dan dan noodles and chili oil dumplings. They advertise having combos but they're not available yet - i assume because it says they're still soft opening? There are posters on the wall advertising some other dumplings that are not available yet so i just got their pork ones. The dumplings themselves were kind of bland and if it weren't for the chili oil I would have been disappointed. The dan dan noodles were fine. The sauce was nutty and a bit oily but missing spice so i dumped the chili oil in and it tasted better. I think if you are in the area and NEED dumplings fast and cheap, this place would be fine. Their overhead menu does not match the price on their kiosk, and their employees do not disclose it to you when theyre standing at the cashier while you place your order. You would assume that their menus would accurately reflect each other. They tell you only after youve paid and confront them about your order. Ex: Overhead menu: dumplings 8 pcs for $9.98 VS kiosk 6 pcs for $9.98?! Their overhead menu states "wagyu beef rice bowl" but kiosk labels it as "braised beef rice bowl". Please iron out the misinformation or disclose it ahead of time. Im pretty disappointed by the service. Pork soup Dumplings: 3/5. Soupy and tastes decent, but pricing is mislabeled and not disclosed beforehand. For 6 pcs, price is not worth it. Braised beef rice bowl: 2/5. Flavor is bland. Texture is very different than other "wagyu beef rice bowl" that we have had at other places. Pork bun (char siu bao): 3/5. Filling is sweet and savory. Ambiance: it's a casual sit-down. Hours are incorrect for Sunday says 11am. I wanted to place an order and arrived @11:10am and it was closed, was very bummed out, wanted to give it another try. Was gonna place my order on uber for pick up but walked to location instead. Glad I didn't place my order online. Hours of operations need to be adjusted. read more

We walked in around 3pm and it was empty. We ordered on a kiosk and a server brought our food to the table. We order the black pepper wagyu pan fried which were delicious and we ordered the chili oil wontons which were also tasty. The restaurant was really clean and I would recommend checking it out! read more

Checked out the soft opening and was pleasantly surprised! They have a few things to work out since they opened. My boyfriend was at an event next door and there was a soft opening sign up, so I thought I would try it out. The crisp cucumbers had a very umami flavor and sesame, but they were crisp and tasty. The pork wontons really hit the spot for me. They had a little kick, but not too spicy. The gentleman who welcomed me and answered my menu questions was very friendly. He actually gave me a complimentary soda and a custard bao to try. it was a sweet gesture and a sweet treat to end the meal. This might be one of the best dumpling spots I've ever been to. Everything is made fresh--no exaggeration. We literally watched them hand-stuff the dumplings right before cooking them, which was such a cool touch. The dumplings were incredibly light but still super satisfying. This place you are greeted as you walk in. You order from a menu screen and some of the food is pre-cooked and sitting in a steamer ready to serve. I decided to dine in and ended up eating three servings of their pork & shrimp Siu Mai. The dumplings were good and had a strong mushroom flavor to them as well as the expected pork and shrimp. The dipping sauces were good too. For dining in, I was shocked at how much one time use plastic waste was generated just from my small meal....! I'd come back to try their har gow which were not offered this time as the place was kinda doing a soft opening. The inside dining area was well lit offering a variety of different sized wood tables and chairs. Of the tables that were empty none had their tops wiped off and remnants of previous snacks and sauce visible so I chose just to eat on the tray. You're expected to bus your own dishes and tray which is probably why their personnel aren't out there on a regular basis to clean the table-tops. Most restaurants that have a similar set up also have dirty tabletops for the same reason. read more

Was considering making this my new dumpling spot and i'm so sad it wasn't as great as it seemed I will say the service was good and they were very nice, offering to answer any questions or help while ordering. They didn't have chicken for the fried rice so they offered chicken katsu replacement instead, which i didn't mind since i like that. They did, however, lie and said they didn't have chicken because "it was their first day open", regardless of the reason why lie I will say that the food was okay, it wasn't the best but also not the worst, just mediocre. I would say the quality fell short for the price point. I ordered the spicy chicken dumplings and chicken fried rice. The dumplings were not spicy at all, not even a hint. The filling lacked flavor as well making the overall dish pretty tasteless...The chicken katsu was good with the right flavor and crisp; the rice was okay, although I wouldn't really call it "fried rice". It was a bit too fluffy compared to the traditional fried rice i've had at other asian spots. Overall the quality was very mediocre for the price point and it's honestly not a place I would crave. Absolutely delicious. The pan fried one was my favorite. I would probably skip on the Dan Dan noodles. It was lacking in the sesame flavor. My Papa and I went there this morning and was given a 5 star treatment by all their staff. The head chef sith braces recommended good choices, joyfully adjusted to my diet preferences and even gave me an extra broth soup . Another staff also graciously assisted my dad with something . The waggle potstickers are really good. Definitely a new experience. The soup dumplings were OK. Would definitely like them more if they came out a little bit hotter popcorn chicken just need a little bit more salt but still very good. Definitely something I will try to sneak into the movie theater right next-door The other dumplings I forgot what they're called but they're pretty good. I just need a little bit more spice to them overall I'd rate this place in 8.5 out of 10 definitely a must come. read more

It's not too big of a location either, think regular sized boba shop. I got the wonton noodle soup and was excited cause I saw the fresh noodles in the kitchen.sadly I did not know that they would put the soup with the noodles even for take out orders. I wish I knew and ordered to have the broth on the side. What resulted as a sloppy gummy mess ...flavor was there though! I ordered 2 soups, 1xlb, 1siumai, 1 spicy wonton, and a cucumber salad. I got two sauce containers that weren't even half way full. I understand that the containers are slightly bigger than average but it barely even filled my saucer at home. It was maybe a quarter full and that's being generous. The hargow was tasteless with very thick wrap and poor quality shrimp filling. The crispy shrimp dumpling was the only thing that tasted decent but nothing to rave about. Went by for a soft opening last night with my teens. Food we tried was amazing. Best fried wontons ever. Soup dumplings are a must. And the shrimp and pork sui mai perfect. One in my party doesn't eat meat so they made the dan dan meatless and it was absolutely great. The manager was a really cool person and the whole staff was friendly, efficient, and clean. We ordered steamed black pepper wagyu beef dumplings, beef noodle soup, and dan dan noodles. Dumplings has chili oil and soy sauce on the side. I'm not sure if they have lemon sauce, I didn't ask. I like my dipping sauce spicy and tangy combination. First time trying dan dan noodles and I actually like it a lot. My son ordered the beef noodle, he said it is okay, he prefers the one from Noodle St becauses it has spicy option. I will definitely come back again to eat dan dan noodles and try other dumplings. Made a trip out to get Chubby Dumpling. I'm a frequent patron to cattle and the various hotpot locations. Given my experience with the Chubby Group, I expected more. Unfortunately the dumpling fell short. The skin of the dumplings are thick and dry. The dan dan noodles was too creamy. The beef noodles soup wasn't bad. Unfortunately they ran out of the soup dumplings and the pork chop rice but I assume it wouldn't be as good. The price is similar to din tai Fung so I would rather go there. read more
