The host responsible for seating us let us know they're running late, then had the audacity to tell us it'll take longer if our party doesn't tone it down. To their defense, we were being pretty loud when we walked in. The correct way to approach the situation is to say "can you please have your group take it down a notch" not to tell me it'll take hours unless we turn it down. Some advice. Dont vheap out and buy real wine glasses! We eat a lot of fine dining restaurants over the years around the world and this is by far the worst dining experience in Vegas. Now the food. No flavor, burnt , no taste and no seasoning ? When I asked if there was any garlic, to maybe add some flavor I was told the "owner" of t the restaurant doesn't care for garlic and therefore it none is offered in the entire restaurant. We ordered pizza for an appetizer. It was amazing. I was looking forward to truffles with pasta. I asked the server if they can make without butter. He said: yes of course. I got a very small appetizer size dry cold pasta with truffles that costs over 200 dollars. It is not worth it. I was in business dinner so I didn't send it back. Otherwise I would. It was a joke. The quality has been going down and it's such a shame. We are locals and this was a place we've been going to since it opened and quickly became our regular spot for birthdays, visitors, business parties and to celebrate special occasions. The last two times we've been (October and November) we have left with a bad experience. We've loved this place so much for years that we figured our bad visit in October was a fluke (things happen) and decided to stop by again. We were in the area, stopped by for lunch and had eaten light as the portions were suitable for a hearty dinner. We were having a nice time and great service with absolutely delicious perfectly cooked food and kind staff especially the waiter but then things turned towards the end. As the table was cleared by a busser I had asked for it to be packaged up to go. As I'm used to, I watched as they took the leftovers out back (assuming to be packaged)... it was thrown away. This is a $40 pasta I had eaten a third of. I found this out when our check was brought without our leftovers. I overheard the waiter ask about it to a busser and hear the busser (quietly) but defensively say that I never asked for it to be packaged up to go. It was incredibly strange to experience. Additionally, many places I've been to ask if you want to package your food to go if they see a considerable amount left. But things happen. Everyone moves so fast so I can imagine I was not heard or due to the fact that when you eat here you have a waiter and multiple different bussers, lines of communication can be jumbled. Makes the service feel a bit cold and disconnected. Which is strange at this price range at such a beautiful spot. This definitely soured the special occasion we were celebrating. The waiter was apologetic (wasn't his fault, of course! But very kind of him) and I was offered another serving to take home but we had somewhere to be and frankly after two bad experiences in a row within a month of each other, I just gave up. read more

The waiters were very nice and attentive. I recommend getting the Bellini, one of Italy's signature drinks. The Prosciutto tastes fresh but I wish there was a bigger portion. We also ordered the steak tartare but it was plain and tasteless. For dinner we all got pasta. The portion was generous and it did not disappoint! For dessert, we had their famous vanilla gelato. My family and I came here for Christmas dinner. We had a party of 8 and were able to get a great table. The service here is the real standout of the evening. We got such great service from everyone in the restaurant and that is what made it such a wonderful dining experience. We started with the Cucumber Salad, Cipriani Mozzarella and the Fried Calamari. All were delicious and very fresh. Dinner was a variety of items from Veal Chops, Margherita Pizza, Homemade Potato Gnocchi, Cipriani Tagliardi with Veal Ragú, Braised Beef Short Ribs and a few others. I recently dined at Cipriani for a celebratory dinner with some friends and was a little underwhelmed. I ordered the tagliolini with ham because I was told that it was one of the more popular dishes and it was nothing special, especially considering the price. It reminded me a bit of cheesy hash browns and ham rather than a pasta dish and it was lukewarm when it arrived at the table. The most redeeming part of the meal was dessert. The chocolate Sunday and meringue cake were both delicious. The most disappointing part of the evening was the way that their martinis are served. I realize this may be nitpicky of me, but all of their martinis are served in what are essentially slightly larger shot glasses. I understand that the volume of the beverages is the same but the presentation is so unappealing nonetheless and come on, if I wanted a cold shot of vodka with a lemon twist in it, that's what I would ask for! When I order a martini, I typically expect the classic presentation "up" or at least the option to have it served that way. After our first one, we specifically asked for our next drink to be served up and were told that they did not do that. We even mentioned that we had seen coupe glasses being used for champagne and would prefer that, but were told that this was impossible and they best they could do would be to leave empty glasses at the table for us to transfer our own drinks... very odd. Same day reservation/availability was great...especially for a Friday night. We were ~10 minutes late but they sat us within 5 minutes post checkin. The Food: -hors d'oeuvre: various pieces/types of bread. 3/5 -Appetizers: 4/5 1) Salmon sashimi was flavorful, buttery, lightly seared on top. 2) Cucumber/tomato/avocado/corn salad with a fresh aromatic olive oil dressing (grassy/oat/peppery taste). Probably could have used a little bit more salt. -Main Course: 5/5 1) Branzino (aka the European bass) for two: Soft and tender white fish topped with cherry tomatoes and olives. Really flavorful... the roasted potatoes on the side was a nice supplement. This style of dish is quite popular in Italy and I think Cipriani nailed it. 2) Tagliardi with Veal Ragú: love the sauce and texture of this pasta. Definitely recommended. -Dessert: 4/5 1) Vanilla Crème Meringue: light, fluffy and creamy. Not too sweet. 2) Two shots of limoncello (generous amount)...properly finishing off this wonderful meal. The Service: 5/5 Probably where this place shines the most is its service and decor. Obviously this isn't bay-side like the original Harry's Bar in Venice but the service is much better. Ignore the reviews, most of the negative feedback probably comes from the less traveled and less exposed small town folk who were better off booking a table at "margaritaville" anyway. Why complain about stemless glasses at at Italian restaurant and why would you call a restaurants staff "racist" because you could not follow their dress code - which by the way is made very clear upon reservation. Who walks through a gauntlet of high ended designer stores in the evening, prepared to drop 1k on dinner in shorts and sandals? And the Gnocchi by the way, is a Ricotta Gnocchi which is meant to have a pillowy consistency, the Potato Gnocchi you tried (one time) on your summer trip to Italy is not the only way it is made. We had an absolutely amazing experience here this last Saturday night. Table for 6, very comfortable in the back corner. The restaurant staff greeted us very professionally and we were sat within moments of walking in. The restaurant itself is beautiful, the clientele is upscale and the energy is perfectly balanced. The wine list has something for everyone and the cocktails are fun, the history of the Cipriani brand boasts invention of the Bellini as well as Carpaccio, which we enjoyed along with several other appetizers. Everything was timed perfectly and we never found ourselves waiting for drinks or for our next course. We had the Ricotta Gnocchi with the pink sauce, we tried the lamb shanks, pizza and a few other dishes - all phenomenal (once again). Made with no milk or tomato, the overly greasy brown sauce had little substance or flavor. The pasta itself was cooked far too al dente. Last but not least - but definitely much worse - was the huge cut chucks of beef, pork, and perhaps (but unlikely) veal that completely overwhelmed and outsized the dish (5 x 1 ratio of meat vs. pasta). The seating is uncomfortable to the point of laughable. Told that the low chair to even lower table height is a throwback to their original restaurant. If you're 5'9" or taller you will feel like you're at the kids table. Over 6'2" - knees to chest. Maybe they didn't have interior designers 80 years ago but we do now. My Bass was cooked to perfection and had a sauce that had a hint of dilly pickle. It was very tasty. My friend's salmon was also delicious and made the way she liked it medium well.
