After leaving my car with the service department overnight, calling and having a conversation with the rep, and leaving a poor review which seemed to help get a response, the team at Concord Chevrolet checked the balance on my tires. Three of them were off by .25 oz, which is not huge, but could contribute to the vibration. They still claimed that the steering was straight. I took my car in to get a look by a local mechanic, and he immediately noticed that the steering was off center. After doing the alignment, he found that, as I suspected, the alignment was close, but slightly out of spec. The rear wheels were off far enough that they pulled the car to the right, which caused the steering wheel to lean left when driving straight. The Toe was slightly off and they corrected that as well. Now, in the Concord Chevrolet's defense, they offered (after I had dropped off the vehicle and they'd already had it for a day) to have their service manager drive the car with me in it. It is likely that he would have seen the problem at that point and everyone there has seemed interested in making sure that my experience was good. Because that would require an additional 40 minute round trip, I opted to take the car home and bring it somewhere closer. It was frustrating for me because this was already the third time bringing the vehicle in for the same issue. read more

I took my car here for a routine service. While the car was being worked on, the service advisor called me and told me the coolant was leaking and a tube needed to be replaced. After paying almost $1000 for this service alone, the coolant was leaking far more rapidly when I got the car back. I took the car back to the service center to have this fixed. I was quite pressed for time because I had to make a six-hour drive the same day. Joseph White, the service advisor who "helped" me that day said, "I will give you a call by 11:00." By noon, he had made no such call. Only after we had called him, were hung up on, and made several attempts to call him back did he speak to us. He then revealed that no mechanic had looked at the car and that no mechanic would look at the car before 1:00 pm. Why he had decided to promise that he would call us at by 11:00 am is beyond me. I ended up having to pay an additional $300 for the second service during which the service center fixed their shoddy work. This place overpromises, overcharges, and under-delivers. Take your car to someone honest who actually cares about their work. read more

Following my initial negative experience, the service manager immediately reached out to me and was very helpful. My check engine light came back on the following day and he was able to accommodate me immediately. The diagnostic was completed and even the repair. Although my initial experience was negative, the follow up by the service manager was definitely above and beyond. I recommend that they just keep in mind and train their Service Center to advise clients that if the check engine light is not on the day of the scheduled appointment to reschedule since that is obviously a requirement to read the code. read more

This has been one of the worst dealership service experiences I've ever had. I dropped my car off Monday morning with an appointment. Late Monday, I was told the technician didn't get to it -- and I was completely flexible and said that was fine. The inspection didn't happen until late Tuesday night. I was told what was wrong and that all the parts were already in stock, so I expected the repair to move forward. After that? Nothing. No updates. No communication. My car sat untouched Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. On top of that, the rental situation was handled poorly. I was told a rental was "set aside for me," but when I reached out there was not one available. I also did a check in on my car to find out what was going on, which is when I learned nothing had moved forward. Then I was told the only technician who can work on my vehicle only works Monday-Thursday. That means I lost an entire full week -- Monday through Thursday -- with parts already in stock and still zero actual repair work started. And now I'm being told, "We'll talk to the technician on Monday," which tells me my car wasn't even a priority this whole time. The lack of communication, urgency, and basic professionalism from this service department is unbelievable. There was absolutely no reason for my car to sit untouched for a week with parts in stock and an appointment scheduled. Been here four times for the same issue and they charged me every single visit without ever actually fixing the problem. Excuses, blame-shifting, and zero accountability every time. At one point they even tried to blame my aftermarket lights after already confirming they weren't the issue. The attitude here is just as bad as the work. When I first brought the car in, the guy at the front literally said, "So what do you want us to do?" Uh, I don't know... maybe fix it? That's what I'm paying you for. And the best part? They later said, "It's been a year and a half since you've been here," as if that proves anything. So what -- your repairs only last a year? That's your standard now? They've left me stranded multiple times after the car was supposedly "repaired." These have got to be the most dishonest mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of chewing out. They're great at taking money, terrible at fixing cars. Save yourself the headache don't buy a Chevy, or at the very least, don't take it here. If I could give negative stars, I would. The only time you'll get good service is when they're selling you a car. As soon as you're no longer an open piggy bank, their service experience falls off a cliff. Basic warranty service as well as a detailing package were part of my car purchase in 2023. My first service experience in 2024 was not the most buttoned up - slow, unclear timelines, the usual. Attempting to schedule the second service in 2025 was a nightmare. They eliminated the online option to schedule the service I needed, so it took about 10 different calls, 5 departments, 3 unreturned voicemails to confirm info and get scheduled. Upon taking time away from work to bring the car in, I learned the appointment I made on the phone was never confirmed in the system. Moreover, that technician informed me that the detailing package was expired (despite my asking over the phone to confirm eligibility/expiration). The whole endeavor wasted hours of time. The silver lining is that I finally got a straight answer about pre purchased package expiration, so I never have to come back here again. read more
