The food was pretty good. The beef cheek was my favorite. The drinks were good as well. My only issue was how LONG it took for the filete. We ordered the filet with our drinks, and it took 2 HOURS to receive it. It also caused our patatas beavers to take long as well, as the two came out together. We were running late for our next event, so I didn't get to try the basque cheesecake. Our server spilled some of my cocktail onto the table, but the rest of it tasted good. The ambiance is very nice, very clean

Let me just start by saying this was one of the best experiences. We came here with a group of 7 for our monthly ladies dinner and they did not miss. I started with the sangria which isn't listed but is an option. Our server and the staff that assisted her during our dinner service were all great. Everyone always came over with a smile and great attitude. We ordered the experience and that's exactly what we received! The branzino was EXCELLENT and that's grilled cheese I will talk about forever.

What a treat, there were 3 of us and we did the grand asador experience. The chef chooses the courses for you. Noting disappointed. The mountain bread, iberico, salmon, gambas, papas con paleta and the ribeye. Derrick was our server and he was great all night. All the choices were outstanding with flavor that built on the next. I will make special mention of the ribeye. Visually stunning and the flavor matched. We went with medium rare and the chef nailed it. Perfect sear with a salt and pepper crust while just slightly warm in the center. Very tender with wonderful flavors. Bring your appetite, we will full and got the cheesecake to go. Great service, great food. Lived up to the hype. Derrick

This was my first time at Cooks & Soldiers, and it's safe to say it won't be my last. It's already earned a spot on my favorites list! We kicked things off with the caviar y churros. Good, but not a must-repeat for me. The caña de cabra, however, is an absolute yes - refreshing and perfectly balanced. Next up were the gambas, and wow. Every bite was packed with flavor and impossible to put down. Not a single crumb was left behind. By the time the pulpo came out, we were definitely getting full... yet somehow managed to eat every last piece. For our entrée, we ordered the pollo basquaise with a side of local mushrooms - comforting, beautifully executed, and I can confidently say not one mushroom was left on my plate. Then came the Basque cheesecake, which deserves all of the hype. Hands down the star of the meal. Unbelievable. Just order it. From the food to the ambiance to the service, the entire experience was genuinely delightful and I can't wait to return!!

We love Cooks & Soldiers! Great place to go with friends and try a whole bunch of plates. I recommend anything with ibérico and don't skip the basque cheesecake! I do wish that they would course out the plates a little better. They come out whenever they're ready, and on multiple occasions, we've gotten our salad or vegetables way at the end of the meal.

Cooks & Soldiers was fantastic from start to finish. We were seated by the window in comfortable leather chairs and immediately felt right at home. Our waitress was warm, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and helping shape a great dining experience. We started with the Caviar y Churros, which were creamy and subtly sweet without overpowering the caviar. Next came the Caña de Cabra, an absolute explosion of flavor. My favorite dish by far was the Gambas, easily the star of the show. I seriously considered ordering a second round. For our main course, we had the Pollo Basquaise with a side of Hongos, featuring local wild smoked mushrooms. Everything was outstanding. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. The meal was worth every penny, and the overall experience was worth even more. I will definitely be back. I almost forgot their Basque cheesecake is phenomenal. It alone is worth the trip. That is no exaggeration.

The food was good. On the paleta iberico the assortments were great with the meat and the PICKLED tomatoes and toasted almonds. The drinks were good. They changed the menu and got rid of all of our favorites like the mushroom toast and bone marrow. We weren't too happy about that. The service was great though. Our waiter Alfredo was very personable

Impeccable! The service, food and ambiance were amazing! Erol our server is a star! He has great energy, he's personable, informative, and explained each dish with its historical and cultural significance. Erol recommended the 'Grand Asador Experience' (Chef's tasting. Refer to menu and photos), so we just went with that: -White anchovies and olives -String beans w chili and dehydrated figs -Grilled oysters -Mountain bread -Braised beef cheeks -Gambas -Pulpo -Potato puree -Grilled aged 16oz ribeye -Basque cheesecake Wow! Absolutely recommend the 'Grand Asador Experience.' Every dish was beautifully presented, and most importantly DELICIOUS! Cooks & Soldiers' ambiance is classy, modern, and the vibe chill and relaxed. I highly recommend Cooks & Soldiers. Thank you Chefs, and service team. Special thanks to Erol! Will definitely return when I'm back in ATL.

New favorite tapas spot in Atlanta unlocked!!!! I made a reservation for my birthday on a Friday night which I highly recommend!! They have valet parking also which makes it super once you are there. We had a great table near the kitchen. Vibes in here are great, good lighting and can hear everyone at our table. Our waitress was SO NICE! She truly helped make the evening spectacular. I got the Sangria to drink which was delicious! And then came the tapas, and we truly got a great mix of everything! You obviously have to get the patatas bravas but the mountain bread was delicious and perfect for dipping in leftover sauces! The octopus was delicious and we enjoyed the bikini sandwiches and croquetas. For the main entrees, we got a bunch to share like bone marrow, the chicken, broccolini, eggplant, roasted carrots and the dry aged steak. The only thing I don't think we would order again was the bone marrow. It was good but left something to be desired in our opinions! The steak and roasted chicken were beyond tender and the vegetables were also great! We had a vegetarian with us and they were impressed with those dishes especially the eggplant. To top the meal off, because it was my birthday the waitress brought me a free glass of cava and a basque cheese and blood orange sorbet for the table. Truly made me feel so special and the dessert was delicious! This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta now and I will be back!!

Enjoyed my visit to Cooks & Soldiers while in town for a conference. Easy park with valet nearby. The service was attentive and truly appreciated. I love a dark lit restaurant so this place checked all my boxes. Food was out of this world. I love the small plates which are easily shareable but also enough for one. Platas Bravas were crispy deliciousness. Make sure to save room for desert - the Basque Cheesecake is brilliant

Freaking phenomenal! Highly recommend Cooks and Soldiers as an affordable upscale spot for foodies, birthday dinners, date night, etc. It's such a cozy, intimate vibe despite its size. Get the Grand Asador Experience. The food was perfect! I was so stuffed by the end of the night. You can't go wrong (unless you have dietary restrictions-let them know. Our service asked). Our server was so sweet and attentive. And most importantly, the drinks were strong and bomb!

Hands down one of the best dinner experience I've had this year. Granted we came for my sister's Birthday so there were definitely a few nice perks that we experienced but from the hostess to our amazing server we left fully satisfied and daydreaming about the food the next day . The restaurant ambience is sleek , and upscale. I loved the private dining area we experienced. The only critique is we looked at the menu online ready to order only to be disappointed that the online menu isn't updated as they have a seasonal menu . While we were a bit dejected our server was so helpful and patient that she guided us with our order and everything was a hit. Loved the pacing of the food which was wonderful helping us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Also loved how we got a brief discription of the food as it was served. Top favorites the bikini ( Truffle grilled cheese) & the oysters melted in our mouths. The chimichurri was ordered as an extra side to add to some of the dishes personally elivated everything that was already delicious. We left fully satisfied and our pallets a little more expanded. Last but not least shout out for such a great music playlist or station.

Had the BEST meal here tonight. Had a 6pm reservation for a stormy Saturday evening that I thought would deter people from leaving home but it was still very busy inside, and now I know why. They have a separate GF menu that can be brought to the table on request. Our favorite dishes were the eggplant and the carrots (started eating the carrots as soon as they were set down so didn't get a pic), but we also loved the arroz and pork dishes. The ensalada verde was fresh and light with a citrus vinaigrette, which was a great complement to the heavier/saltier dishes. Finished with the chocolate torte for dessert that had a passion fruit sauce on top - truly chef's kiss! Also our server Enoch was absolutely incredible - so friendly, such positive energy. Best restaurant experience we've had in a long time. Will surely return.

The Korean beef tacos were absolutely delicious--we could have eaten several more! Last, I ordered a carnitas taco and shared it with my husband. It also delivered a big punch of flavor. The food was spotty- the hits were the Spanish tortillas- (maybe the best I've ever had), the Brussel sprouts, and the churros - all great. The bad- anything with seafood- and this is where the purchasing comes in- the paella- great rice- cheap, frozen seafood. The Gambas Al ajillo - tastes good but the frozen peeled and deveined u-25 shrimp from Kroger were just sad. Calamari were disappointing. - I just think they're buying cheap seafood. There were other misses- the patatas bavas were undercooked and not crispy and the sauce had no hint of paprika or chili - (there's no excuse- it's fried potatoes! ) and everything needed salt. For dessert- again the churros were great! But the chocolate basque cheesecake was bitter on bitter- did anyone try that and think- "yes! This is great!" - it wasn't. The top should be dark with some black patches, not burned to a charcoal. Could I have ordered in a way that didn't let the kitchen shine? Sure. And Tapas is difficult- lots of dishes. But the ingredients need to be great- simple and elevated.

All the entertainment is right there in front of you. You're just steps away from the belt line. If you like to people watch, this is for you! They have outdoor seating. A fire pit. Local spots that has live music and you can tend to hear from the patio. This is by far one of my favorite spots in the Ponce area. Let's start with the service. The service is absolutely amazing. I've never had an issue here. Got my food promptly. Always been helpful when conflicted on food options. The service here is 10 out of 10. Phemonenal customer Service, make you feel welcome. Feels like a small community of people, everyone I encoutered were super sweet from servers to bartenders. Treated me like family and I love establishments like that you can get my money ANY day! I'd like to highlight someone special: Alyssa is truly exceptional. She served as my bartender on my latest visit, and I can't say enough good things about her. I look forward to coming in whenever she's working. She's genuine, fun, and her positive energy is a gem. Turning to the cuisine, I have visited the establishment before, and the food is truly exceptional. Two standout appetizers are the Gambas al Ajillo and the garlic-forward, succulent shrimp; the accompanying bread is full of flavor and serves as an excellent introduction to the meal. The Patatas Bravas also deserve special mention--the garlic aioli, chef kiss. As a pescatarian, which is evident in many of my reviews, I cannot comment on the meat options. Nevertheless, there is a noteworthy selection of vegan and gluten-free dishes available. I sampled the Spanish grilled cheese with truffle and garlic aioli--being a fan of garlic, the generous use here was particularly appealing. This reinterpretation of a childhood favorite significantly elevated the dish. Another highlight was the scallops. Although the dish included corn (which I generally avoid), I found it delicious, nonetheless. The scallops were cooked to perfection and infused with rich flavors. The chef demonstrates considerable expertise in crafting these recipes, and I have no complaints regarding my dining experience. Now, a few of my favorite drinks--though everyone might not share the same tastes. When I visit a Spanish-style restaurant, I have my go-to options. One of my favorites is the passionfruit margarita; it's so delicious, it feels like you're on an island. Of course, my all-time favorite is the strawberry margarita--so good and flavorful. It has just the right balance of not too much lime, with a subtle hint of mint--who knew we needed that? Another top pick is the 'Dragon on Vacation.' I usually avoid spicy drinks, so I had the habanero removed, but it's still the perfect blend of dragon fruit flavor in a margarita--so good. I also love a good Paloma; I appreciate its little kick. Overall, I have no complaints about these drinks!

It's always a good time when we meet up with my friends cause the conversation and fellowship is always so sweet, however this time I'd say it was somewhat interrupted. There was always someone yelling over another and we had to continuously ask someone to repeat themselves. They do half off bottles of wine on Wednesdays and that might've been the one thing I enjoyed. As for the food, it was also subpar. I ordered the CRISPY PIMENTON CHICKEN which was essentially a fried chicken with hot honey sauce and that was enjoyable. The caprese salad was good but my tomato's were a bit mushy. I also enjoyed a few of the potatoes brava as well but they weren't anything spectacular. My friends said the steak tasted burnt and needed less charring. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute as there is indoor and outdoor seating but honestly, I'm not that eager to go back.

This one is new and it's off the belt line and it's in a really good spot though. That's the selling point of it all. As you know if you're coming on the Beltline, you gotta worry about parking so you can kinda get it how you like it. There are plenty of spots to go to if you want to go ahead and do a lot or find some neighborhood parking . With this new Eclipse you can sit inside and check out the views or you can sit outside and just sit under the fans and people-watch. That could probably be the best option just because you're right on the belt line so you get a good view of everything but if it's too hot then that's going to be an issue lol . We just went for drinks just to stop off before we went elsewhere along the Beltline because everything is very walkable. It's easy to go ahead and duck in and off of the Beltline so this will be a good spot but I've been to eclipse plenty of times elsewhere and I know that the food is solid no matter what you're doing. I can't say that I would go back there to eat because I've already eaten there and I know what I like and I know what to expect but if you haven't been the food is actually really good. I started off with a spicy margarita. It got me where I needed to be. That's the important part LOL. Service was really good. It was really crowded when we went and we were just trying to catch a vibe before we started off the Beltline. They made a space for us at the sitting area, right where the door was, so we can actually be indoors and still see outdoors. That was really nice of them. Service was great. Can't complain about that. This looks like a smaller one but at the same time it's still built into the belt line so it actually wins because of location. Other ones have larger dance floors that you can dance at, I guess, so it's a different story. This one still has its own charm. Overall it is what you expect from an eclipse so it's not like I'm telling you anything that you don't know because I'm assuming you've been to at least one of them before. This one is the newest one and it is in a perfect area so if you are ducking in and off of the belt line, this would be a good spot to go ahead and grab some papas bravas and a margarita.
