It's kind of unique the way they have the pricing, you pay for the self-service Chinese food by the pound.

Think made-to-order elevated food court Chinese-ISH-style dishes. SERVICE: when we first walked in, the guy bussing tables onto his cart made eye contact, then COMPLETELY IGNORED US despite it being obvious that we were there for dinner. off-putting, i ALMOST WALKED OUT :/ Once we chased someone down and got seated, our waiter was super FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. Food came out quickly and piping hot. FOOD: PORTIONS-what stands out is the HUGE PORTIONS, one plate could probably feed to and perhaps three moderate eaters. QUALITY-unusually and OVERWHELMINGLY OILY. Way more than I would've expected, and detracted from the eating experience. **Cheese WonTon-wrappers were FRIED CRISP AND TENDER, but the decent dollop of cream cheese filling was overwhelming. **KUNG POW CHICKEN was the BEST DISH we had, barely spicy but it hid the oiliness better somehow. **NOODLE (?chow fun) SHRIMP was difficult to eat, and the EXCESSIVE GREASE COATED MY TONGUE so bad the i couldn't taste the shrimp or veggies. **BLACK BEAN BEEF was fair. OILY BUT FLAVORFUL. veggies were nicely cooked still crunchy, but the HARSH ONIONS were overpowering. sweet or milder onions would let me taste the other ingredients more. the beef itself was tender and tasty. I personally won't be returning, but I see the value due to large portions and moderate prices. i'd gladly sacrifice quantity for higher quality.

Food is always made fresh and you can tell they really care Tantalizing Eggplant Bowl (no peppers) with Thai Steak on the side, Garlic Rice & Side salad! I loved how customizable the bowls are because you can switch out your proteins and sides. Everything was bomb, the steak was really flavorful and not dry at all! Also the eggplants hit the spot cause I was craving it, has slightly sweet notes and pairs really nicely with the garlic rice. Side salad was great too. I can't wait to come back again. My friend got the drunken noodles and they have three spice levels. She got the middle spicy and that one packed a punch for me, abit too spicy for my liking but she said she wants to try the Thai spicy (highest level) next time.

This was my first visit to Mr. Dragon Noodle House…read more I stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night, and one thing became obvious almost immediately... This place is busy. The dining room was absolutely packed. Every table was full, people were waiting near the entrance for seats, and the energy inside was loud and lively. If you're looking for a bustling restaurant with lots of activity, you'll enjoy it. Personally... I'm more of a quiet-corner kind of diner. Unfortunately, I didn't find my usual quiet corner this time, but I managed to find a corner, and that was good enough. The restaurant has a modern Asian-inspired interior with black brick accents, warm wood furniture, hanging pendant lights, and a striking red geometric ceiling. It feels contemporary and spacious, although with a full dining room, it quickly becomes energetic and noisy. As soon as I walked in, a waiter handed me a menu along with an order slip to fill out while I waited for a table. It was efficient, but it also made the service feel less personal than I usually prefer. Once seated, everything moved very quickly. Considering how busy they were, I understand why, but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being rushed through my meal. Now onto the food. Hot Tea ($2.00) Simple, warm, and exactly what I wanted on a busy evening. Xiao Long Bao (8) ($13.00) The dumplings arrived steaming hot filled with juicy pork and flavorful broth. They were the highlight of my meal. Spicy Beef Ramen ($16.00) Large chunks of beef sat in a rich, vibrant red broth alongside ramen noodles, vegetables, and a hard-boiled egg. The beef, however, was not as tender as it looked. Unfortunately, the broth was simply too spicy for my liking. The spice overwhelmed many of the other flavors, making it difficult for me to fully enjoy the dish. Subtotal: $31.00 Tax: $3.02 Total: $41.02, including tax and a $7.00 tip. Overall, the food was decent. The soup dumplings were the one dish that I enjoyed.
