We came here for the first time the other day and were happy we did! The restaurant is fast casual and felt bright and festive when we walked in. It's "shrimp season" so I ordered a shrimp burrito with pinto beans and roasted green chili sauce, and smothered with more sauce and melted cheese. They also put some lettuce with pico de gallo in the container with some added dressing. It was all tasty and so big that I ended up bringing half of it home to eat later. My husband had a grilled chicken burrito. The base price of a burrito is $11. 49 and it was an additional $2.50 for the shrimp and $1.00 for the chicken. Between the reasonable price, friendly service, and tasty food, we will be back.

Small salad, Chile verde burrito

I don't typically write reviews for chains because ppl generally have their own minds made up about them anyway. However I thought the chile verde burrito is worth mentioning. I come in for a salad every couple months when my craving for their tomatillo ranch dressing gets too strong but tonight opted to try aforementioned burrito too (advertised cleverly on the door when u walk in) with black beans and rice. Holy guacamole it was so good! This restaurant has always been clean with courteous employees as well. The prices haven't gone off the charts crazy yet either (knock on wood).

I am always so impressed by Costa Vida. The freshly made Tortillas are definitely worth a visit on their own! My absolute favorite since day one will always be the sweet pulled pork. I could choose anything on the menu and will add the sweet pork no matter what it is. I honestly have never had a terrible thing here. The service is great and the staff are efficient and have gone above and beyond. The dining area is vibrant and very spacious. My favorite spot to dine in is the indoor enclosed area. I look forward to visiting again as soon as possible

Exploring today.. Decided to stop for the very first time.. More people inside than I expected.. good sign... Saw the daily specials, and decided to go with the chicken enchiladas..red and green sauce.. With rice and refried beans.. Customer in front of me got the pork enchiladas with green sauce.. ( which looked really good). Staff was quick and friendly. Mentioning I was a first timer, the worker gave me a sample of the mango salsa.. ( which I liked).. Impressed how the cashier wore gloves and would change every time he went in between stations. I don't care for flour enchiladas, but since they were fresh couldn't say no.. Rice was decent and the red sauce was better than usual.. Glad I stopped!

Two of my girls had Honor Roll coupons from their school for this spot. Haven't been here, and decided to use them this night. Food was decent. Nothing specifically to complain about. My youngest and oldest enjoyed the nachos. I thought the quesadillas and steak tacos were good. However my middle wasn't a huge fan of the enchiladas. They only had two employees this evening and seemed very busy with pick up orders. One young man employee was very kind tho and apologetic for having such a wait to order. We sat in a little enclosed area and my girls enjoyed that. Soap dispenser did not work in woman's restroom so that was frustrating. Over all decent spot.

Popped in here on Sunday afternoon and wasn't too busy. I couldn't make up my mind but ended up going with the 2 enchiladas and a side of rice and refried bean. I got the sweet pork inside the enchiladas and it was EXCELLENT! The pork was sweet and juicy and the enchiladas hit the spot! The rice and beans were pretty good as well. My husband got the burrito with enchilada sauce and Barbacoa inside. I tasted the burrito and it had rice, beans, sour cream and guacamole as well. I was quite content with all our food choices and the service was great as well!

Sweet pork nachos with a side of mango salsa (first time trying ) definitely getting again! Service was great as well.

Sweet pork salad with tomatillo ranch

Delicious food, the ranch will knock your socks off. It's the only salad in the world that isn't a "sad" salad. Not to mention the price of their food can't be beat for the quality. You can get fresh pico de gallo, sweet pork and tons of good veggies for cheaper than I can go out to any fast food. I've loved this place for years. The sweet pork salad with tomatillo ranch can't be beat.

Quality/taste: 3.5 out of 5 stars. The sweetness of the pork was a great flavor. I just wished there were more sweet pork because the beans, rice and cheese overpowers the flavor. Customer service: 4 out of 5 stars. They were friendly and very thorough. Quantity: 2 out of 5 stars. Protein is such an important source and I'm pretty sure there was only about 1.5 to 2oz or protein(sweet pork) and it cost $9.99. It was 95% beans, rice and cheese. Cost: 1 out of 5 stars. $9.99 plus tax is pretty absurd for the amount of what you're getting. See picture. Chipotle and Qdoba easily tops it off of everything specially the quantity of food. I highly recommend going to other places than this if you want to get the best bang for your buck.

This is such a cozy and unique restaurant. Everything we ordered was something I had never tried before. We started with cocktails. They have a big variety of margaritas, beer, and other signature drinks. For our appetizers we ordered the blue corn bread which is served on a mini cast iron skillet. This corn bread is sweet, but also has some spicy chili flavor. We shared the fish ceviche with tuna. It was so fresh and the flavors were out of this world. Tangy, sour, a little spicy. For my main I went with the special for that weekend which was the Sea Bass. So flaky and buttery. It was served on top of a kind of fried rice. Overall great experience here. I would prepare for a 2hr experience so that you can enjoy all meals equally!

The numerous booths were cute, but really too small for four people. there were quite a few larger tables for eight or 10 people. Four four , It's a lot of cozy togetherness, which is probably fine for a family, but not for other circumstances. The halibut entrée was very good. The short ribs were kind of average. The other two guests were mixed in their review of the entrées as well. Our our server was super nice , attentive and knowledgeable - while he was with us - but would disappear for long periods of time such that we had to get up to get their attention several times to get additional items. The restaurant was not particularly crowded, but there was something going on at another nearby table - perhaps a VIP, family friends or owner (?) that attracted a gathering of several servers for long periods of time, so it was hard to get our servers attention. I'd be surprised if that was a common scenario, but it happened while we were there. Ambient noise was fine . Prices were on the higher side for my expectation, but the presentation was very nice. It was pretty good, would probably do 3 1/2 stars if I could, but it definitely isn't equal to the various four stars I've rated locally.

First off, huge shoutout to the staff at both locations. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a group of about 12 showing up and ordering at different times, plus another large party there, and they handled it all really well. The patio has such a great Midtown vibe, and I'm always happy supporting local small businesses. We ordered a little bit of everything: ribeye gorditas with homemade tortillas, street tacos, quesadillas, loaded papas, elote, and I even attempted the AYCE tacos. The carnitas was some of my favorite in town, the guac was delicious, and my friend loved the skirt steak tacos. Plus, the three salsas they serve are all so good. Tacos are always subjective, but I'd absolutely recommend giving Ana's a try because there's something for everyone on the menu. The cocktails are fun too, and I'll definitely be back.

Mexcal is a taco joint serving up elevated tacos that you can order one by one. These things are loaded up with protein and toppings, and they do not skimp on the portions! My dad ordered the al pastor and quesabirria tacos. We both agreed that the short rib was our favorite. Tender short rib in a delicious sauce topped with fresh guac. Fantastic! I was also shocked by how much duck they loaded up the duck confit taco with. That was probably my second favorite. Super tender duck with tons of flavor. The vibe here is casual, but it can be a nice, elevated date night spot. I really enjoy that you can order one or two tacos and then order more if you're still hungry.
