Wowowow what a nice place. Plenty of Udon, Curry, and Donburi choices. I had the Katsudon and it was great. Massive portion for $11.

These are serious servings of katsu curry and there is plenty to enjoy as dine in and take some to go also. Good flavor. Food court seating. We didn't have a problem finding parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

Curry Ya is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall. I came specifically to try the beef gyudon bowl after seeing a post on social media. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Customer service was great. The bowl was $10.95 and it comes with a miso soup and cabbage salad as well. The beef was cooked with onions and served with a side of pickled ginger on top of a generous portion of rice. The beef was tasty and I really liked the ginger. The sauce on the cabbage salad was really good. Overall this meal is so worth it for the price! I would get it again.

We came for lunch and I had the Beef Gyudon meal that came w soup and salad. husband had the ramen next to it, I'm a fan of gyudon and honestly had made it at home multiple times but we were in the area and I saw a video on line that this was like $11 and you get salad on side and soup so why not seemed like a good deal. Place wasn't too busy when we came, service was good the guy who took my order was friendly and helpful. Food came out probably less than two minutes,I really enjoyed the cabbage salad w the sesame dressing, soup was ok and the gyudon beef it self was good only think I would say there was too much rice on the bowl less beef. Other wise everything was good I mean it is only $11 for all so I guess I can't complain too much ambiance? Well it is a food hall so it can get crowded, seatings are pretty close to each other, parking can be tough and place can get loud.

Got more upset as I debated whether to post this or not.

I'm sorry in advance as this review was written in a hangry state of mind. I work in the industry. I'm hungry and was craving something in the Cheongdam Hall. The whole experience was idiculous. The girl that dropped off my food tray spilled my Miso soup. Just said oops. Didn't replace it. Also. I understand it's close to closing time, but please explain the thinking of serving a wet salad to a guest? I know the difference between a salad dressing and salad that's just sat and the water wasn't drained from the salad. I also requested extra ginger. Saw the cashier type it in. Never got it. Had to get it myself. Really? I tipped for the service I expected and this is what I get. And another thing. This is when you know there's no manager on duty. The girl that dropped off my food had waist length hair. Not pulled back in to a bun. How i would have loved to have found her hair on my food so I could have taken a picture of that.

I love this place. I wish you could call in an order for pick up though. The door dash prices are about $4 more per plate. Parking is a pain so be prepared for that. But the food is worth it.

My husband got the Katsu curry. He really liked it. We also ordered sides of Gyoza & Karaage. Gyoza was very flavorful. Honestly, the best one I've eaten in a long time! Shot out to that!

Amazing value for their curry here for the price. The curry comes with rice, salad, and miso soup. Full meal for under $15? Yes, please! Curry Ya seems to be one of the busier eateries here, which makes sense. They are mostly quick, and the portions are very generous for the price. At least the curries are. The udons might be a different story. We got here before they open, so before 11am and got a table. By the time we left around noon, the place filled up so fast that people were waiting for tables. They have different spice levels. Heard their regular had some spice, and since I like spicy, I got their level 3. Surprisingly it wasn't spicy (to me). Will try the one beyond that if available next time. We got chicken curry and chicken katsu curry. Chicken itself was a bit dry, but the curry really helped. It was pretty standard Japanese curry, similar to those blocks you buy and make your own curry, but higher rating for the value here. The miso soup and salad were good and went well with the saltiness of the curry. Well lit area too, so no prob if you're able to get a table. We also got their takoyaki and fries. The fries were a bit sad, but takoyaki was standard / good.

Curry Ya is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall. They menu caught my wife's attention. I know curry is in their name, but, she liked the ramen on their menu even though there is a ramen spot in the next stall over. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than ramen in California. After ordering, they brought our food out to us at our table. She liked here spicy ramen and gyoza. It's a good place. We will have to come back and maybe get something that is in their name.

Located inside the Cheodong Food Hall. The space is shared with other Asian themed restaurants. Came back because a friend wanted to try it out. Had the Udon Noodles. The broth was delicious, however just wished there was more meat. Friendly service overall.

Curry is in Cheongdom Hall. They serve Japanese curry, udon and appetizers. I love to order the Japanese pork Katsu level one which is a medium spicy level with scrambled egg topping. This is a full meal because it comes with miso soup and a shredded salad. After you order, you find a seat and they will bring it to your table. This has consistently been the best Japanese curry I have had ever.

Located in the Cheongdam Food hall. Food is consistently good. Lots of seating at this location since it's located in the food-hall. Service is good and food comes out fairly quick. Definitely worth trying. They also have another location in Chinatown(decatur/spring mtn)

Spilled miso soup due to poor packaging

Curry Ya is one of the many curry spots sprouting around Las Vegas and is located inside the Cheongdam Food Hall. Inside, you'll see that there are plenty of seating. But since it's shared with all the neighboring restaurants, it could get pretty limited when it's busy. Service is quick and friendly as you just order at the counter, take your number, and have a seat. Once your food is ready, it would be brought out. I came to eat here when they first opened and ordered the Japanese Pork Katsu Curry. The portions are pretty big and for the price, it's a good deal since it comes with salad and miso soup on the side. There isn't anything that stands out otherwise with the flavor, so it's not a bad option to visit whenever you're craving katsu curry and in the area without venturing too southwest or into Chinatown. However, my 2nd visit was where my main complaints are. I was starving and craving curry on my way home from work, so I decided to order takeout. It didn't take long for it to be ready for pick up. But you can only imagine how disappointed and frustrated I was to find that half the miso soup actually spilled onto my fabric seat and soaked through. When I took it out, the lid was still on completely but because it's made of FLIMSY plastic (even flimsier due to the heat of the soup) over a paper cup, it leaked out. Furthermore, there was a piece of hair stuck to the lid of my salad. Although it's not IN the salad, when the lid is closed, it is touching said salad. Please invest in better to-go containers to avoid this possibly happening again to other unlucky patrons as well as making sure hair isn't falling out onto customers' food.

Hey, y'all…read more Y'all... I guess I've been living under a rock because I'm just now finding out about Cheongdam Food Hall! Where have I been?! Anywhoddles I ordered from Eki Ramen, and when I tell y'all this ramen was RAMENING! Aka delicious. Aka... fire I ordered the Black Garlic Ramen, and as you can see from the menu, it was only $12.95. I added an extra egg, extra pork belly, and extra black garlic oil because... why not? Anywhoddles with the extra "trimmings" it came to $18 dollars. Let's get back to the review Now lean in so I can tell y'all about this broth. It tasted authentic to me. It was rich, velvety, silky smooth, creamy without being heavy, and bursting with savory goodness. Every sip had me closing my eyes The noodles had the perfect bite--not too soft and not too firm. The pork belly was tender, flavorful, and had just the right amount of char around the edges. And those eggs? Whew! Perfectly jammy with that beautiful golden yolk. So... if you're a ramen lover--or if you've been thinking about trying ramen for the first time--I highly recommend giving Eki Ramen a try. And while you're there, take your time and explore Cheongdam Food Hall because there are plenty of other restaurants waiting to be discovered. Until next time... y'all already know what time it is! I'll be doing a boomerang back to this spot because there are way too many restaurants in this food hall for me to stop at just one!

Though it's a bit of a cluster on the weekends, there's little to hate about Cheongdam Food Hall,…read morewhich has called itself the first true local Asian food hall in Vegas. The former Rite Aid pharmacy that once stood in its place has never looked better and features a cool curated mix of Japanese and Korean-inspired concepts. It's not a large food hall, but it's a good start. The current line up is: Smile Shota, Curry Ya, Namsan Tonkatsu, Market Green Table, Tiger Go Go, Downtoner Sandwich, and Broken Coffee. Market Green Table and Tiger Go Go managed to replace GT Poke and HoHo Crunch earlier this year, and thank goodness. Market Green Table has some of the most creative renditions of musubi and is my favorite of all that I've tried so far. Smile Shota is the most intriguing at the moment, which offers all you can eat sushi throughout the day and even has a late night AYCE special ($25 for now). If there is any knock on the place is that it's small enough to present some major challenges during their busiest times: crowd flow, seating, and especially parking. Peak times include lunch, weekends, and some weeknight dinner hours. Takeout is inevitable, but their least busy hour is usually between 2-4pm.

Japanese curry cravings? Say less…read more We came in past 11:40 AM on a Monday, and the moment we walked in, the ambiance was already giving "Welcome to Japan" vibes. The restaurant offers a variety of Katsu meals and Japanese curry, so naturally... we had to order TWO meals because apparently one person cannot be trusted around good food. We got the Hire Curry and Hire Katsu, and both were delicious! The breading on the hire was chef's kiss -- crispy, light, and perfectly done. But let me talk about that curry sauce. It was rich, flavorful, and seriously giving authentic Japanese curry vibes. I would honestly come back just for the curry sauce! The staff were super friendly, the restaurant was really clean, and there's plenty of parking, which is always a bonus because nobody wants their first adventure to be a parking-lot survival challenge. It has great quality fish every time. Because of their high quality seafood, I willing to pay a little more money to eat here (for the quality). I took my husband here back when we first started dating back in 2016 and this restaurant has now become his fav sushi restaurant. This is why this review is really hard for me to do, this last time we were there (~ 2 weeks ago) we had the worst service from a waiter i had not seen before. We had ordered 3 sashimi dishes to start, it took 45 minutes to get to us at the table! We waited and waited and even thought maybe our waiter forgot to put in our order, we tried to get his attention but couldn't he never really even checked on our! Then about 20 minutes after we ordered, a group of 4 people got seated at a table next yo us, they got their food before we did. When finally our 3 sashimi dishes got to us, we ate it and I asked for the check, when the check came, I drew a line in the tip spot. Yes! Our waiter gets nothing for the service we received in the hopes that he learns that he earns what he serves. Unfortunately for me, this restaurant's sushi maybe delicious, but if their service isn't good, would I really want yo go back?! I guess we maybe looking for another great sushi restaurant....

I ultimately chose the bento box, since I wanted to try a few different things. And that was a good move. For only 16 dollars, it came with spicy pork, a piece of gyoza, takoyaki, chicken skewer, 4 pcs of california roll, salad, and rice. It also came with miso soup. What a steal! Everything on that plate was amazing, especially the takoyaki. My friend got tonkatsu and corn cheese. Loved the corn cheese but the serving size was too small. Just a heads up: the Katsu is served with sauce on top. It was unexpected. The menu didn't say anything, there were no ingredients or info listed. The picture also didn't show that. Not sure what I'm trying next time, but I'm definitely excited for my next visit. Service was exceptional. Very attentive and accommodating. Ambiance was nice, and it had a good vibe. Plenty of parking space. This is another one of those "definitely worth a try" places :)

Definitely a downgrade from our last visit 3 months ago should have seen the sign we came here for…read morelunch today and we were came to an empty restaurant. The lunch specials they had went up to $10.99 just FYI came to find out at the end of our disappointing meal that they are under a new ownership which made sense why the quality went down, I guess the original owner opened up a new spot in California and sold this place end of June this year. I ordered the chicken katsu bento box for $14.00 and husband ordered the tonkatsu ramen lunch special level 4 spicy, bento box presentation is nice came w a lot but my katsu arrived on the cold side so definitely not fried fresh, sushi is not fresh it was a bit mushy, the side of sweet pork was dry and chewy the rest was just ok also my bento box arrived 5 mins after my husband got his ramen by the way. Husband's ramen tasted like a bland watery ramen and it wasn't even the level 4 spicy. I barely ate my food it was unsatisfying I didn't even had it in me to take it to go. The recipe definitely changed even though the server said it's the same, don't get me wrong the server was nice and friendly but let's just say this would be the last time we are coming back here. Also they should throw they're bowls that has chips on it it's very unprofessional that you are serving food w that. On top of it they charge you a fee now for not paying in cash. I honestly don't see this place staying open for long.
