Wowowow what a nice place. Plenty of Udon, Curry, and Donburi choices. I had the Katsudon and it was great. Massive portion for $11.
These are serious servings of katsu curry and there is plenty to enjoy as dine in and take some to go also. Good flavor. Food court seating. We didn't have a problem finding parking. Please come and create your own adventure.
Curry Ya is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall. I came specifically to try the beef gyudon bowl after seeing a post on social media. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Customer service was great. The bowl was $10.95 and it comes with a miso soup and cabbage salad as well. The beef was cooked with onions and served with a side of pickled ginger on top of a generous portion of rice. The beef was tasty and I really liked the ginger. The sauce on the cabbage salad was really good. Overall this meal is so worth it for the price! I would get it again.
We came for lunch and I had the Beef Gyudon meal that came w soup and salad. husband had the ramen next to it, I'm a fan of gyudon and honestly had made it at home multiple times but we were in the area and I saw a video on line that this was like $11 and you get salad on side and soup so why not seemed like a good deal. Place wasn't too busy when we came, service was good the guy who took my order was friendly and helpful. Food came out probably less than two minutes,I really enjoyed the cabbage salad w the sesame dressing, soup was ok and the gyudon beef it self was good only think I would say there was too much rice on the bowl less beef. Other wise everything was good I mean it is only $11 for all so I guess I can't complain too much ambiance? Well it is a food hall so it can get crowded,seatings are pretty close to each other,parking can be tough and place can get loud.
I'm sorry in advance as this review was written in a hangry state of mind. I work in the industry. I'm hungry and was craving something in the Cheongdam Hall. The whole experience was idiculous. The girl that dropped off my food tray spilled my Miso soup. Just said oops. Didn't replace it. Also. I understand it's close to closing time, but please explain the thinking of serving a wet salad to a guest? I know the difference between a salad dressing and salad that's just sat and the water wasn't drained from the salad. I also requested extra ginger. Saw the cashier type it in. Never got it. Had to get it myself. Really? I tipped for the service I expected and this is what I get. And another thing. This is when you know there's no manager on duty. The girl that dropped off my food had waist length hair. Not pulled back in to a bun. How i would have loved to have found her hair on my food so I could have taken a picture of that.
I love this place. I wish you could call in an order for pick up though. The door dash prices are about $4 more per plate. Parking is a pain so be prepared for that. But the food is worth it.
My husband got the Katsu curry. He really liked it. We also ordered sides of Gyoza & Karaage. Gyoza was very flavorful. Honestly, the best one I've eaten in a long time! Shot out to that!
Amazing value for their curry here for the price. The curry comes with rice, salad, and miso soup. Full meal for under $15? Yes, please! Curry Ya seems to be one of the busier eateries here, which makes sense. They are mostly quick, and the portions are very generous for the price. At least the curries are. The udons might be a different story. We got here before they open, so before 11am and got a table. By the time we left around noon, the place filled up so fast that people were waiting for tables. They have different spice levels. Heard their regular had some spice, and since I like spicy, I got their level 3. Surprisingly it wasn't spicy (to me). Will try the one beyond that if available next time. We got chicken curry and chicken katsu curry. Chicken itself was a bit dry, but the curry really helped. It was pretty standard Japanese curry, similar to those blocks you buy and make your own curry, but higher rating for the value here. The miso soup and salad were good and went well with the saltiness of the curry. Well lit area too, so no prob if you're able to get a table. We also got their takoyaki and fries. The fries were a bit sad, but takoyaki was standard / good.
Curry Ya is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall. They menu caught my wife's attention. I know curry is in their name, but, she liked the ramen on their menu even though there is a ramen spot in the next stall over. The price was very reasonable, cheaper than ramen in California. After ordering, they brought our food out to us at our table. She liked here spicy ramen and gyoza. It's a good place. We will have to come back and maybe get something that is in their name.

Curry is in Cheongdom Hall. They serve Japanese curry, udon and appetizers. I love to order the Japanese pork Katsu level one which is a medium spicy level with scrambled egg topping. This is a full meal because it comes with miso soup and a shredded salad. After you order, you find a seat and they will bring it to your table. This has consistently been the best Japanese curry I have had ever.

Curry Ya is one of the many curry spots sprouting around Las Vegas and is located inside the Cheongdam Food Hall. Inside, you'll see that there are plenty of seating. But since it's shared with all the neighboring restaurants, it could get pretty limited when it's busy. Service is quick and friendly as you just order at the counter, take your number, and have a seat. Once your food is ready, it would be brought out. I came to eat here when they first opened and ordered the Japanese Pork Katsu Curry. The portions are pretty big and for the price, it's a good deal since it comes with salad and miso soup on the side. There isn't anything that stands out otherwise with the flavor, so it's not a bad option to visit whenever you're craving katsu curry and in the area without venturing too southwest or into Chinatown. However, my 2nd visit was where my main complaints are. I was starving and craving curry on my way home from work, so I decided to order takeout. It didn't take long for it to be ready for pick up. But you can only imagine how disappointed and frustrated I was to find that half the miso soup actually spilled onto my fabric seat and soaked through. When I took it out, the lid was still on completely but because it's made of FLIMSY plastic (even flimsier due to the heat of the soup) over a paper cup, it leaked out. Furthermore, there was a piece of hair stuck to the lid of my salad. Although it's not IN the salad, when the lid is closed, it is touching said salad. Please invest in better to-go containers to avoid this possibly happening again to other unlucky patrons as well as making sure hair isn't falling out onto customers' food.

Just came here this weekend and will be back. This place is right in the center of the small food hall and I'd be surprised if it wasn't the most popular spot there. Go to the front, order and they'll give you a number to take to your seat and they'll serve you there. You can buy a drink from them at the front and/or get a cup to fill at the ice and water fountains off to the side. It's a little loud and maybe a little cramped in there but whatever, it's a food hall lol at least it's clean and the bussers are quick. You'll just have to pull the tables together yourselves if you have a bigger group. For the price, portion and quality, everything was spot-on. The bowl is huge so when it came I was really wondering how much we'd get through (3 meals between me, my husband, and our 11y old and a 4y old) but it was all enough to get us full, no waste but no overstuffing. The katsu came with miso soup and shredded cabbage which was just the right touch to make the meal a meal. My husband got the curry udon, my son got the spam katsu, I got the chicken katsu and everyone was happy. It was all fresh, everything that was supposed to be crunchy was crunchy and everything that was supposed to be soft was soft :) Even my picky 4y/old was easy to feed! My son chose level 1 spice to try it out and I would probably get it myself if it wasn't for having to share with the little guy. I know they'll get it spicier next time. We have dumb high expectations when it comes to katsu and this place is on our radar when we're on this side of town. ~$40 for all four of us to eat right and be FULL full? My new favorite cheap foodie spot in Vegas, so much flavor in the curry and the proteins were delicious. Ribeye was cooked perfectly my ladies chicken Katsu was delicious. Fresh and crispy katsu curry!!! Wow this place was SO good! Located inside the Cheongdam food hall this place definitely feels like the star. When we came in we saw most tables with food from this place and just had to try it! We came on a Friday afternoon and felt there was enough tables for everyone and not a long wait. It was such a modern and fun vibe inside! For the food, it was sooo tasty and the curry flavor was on point. The staff was very friendly and the order came out to the table rather quick!! And the portions were HUGE! It comes with curry, meat, and rice along with sides of miso soup and a yummy salad! They also have some extra fun items you can purchase. My boyfriend got some hi-chews and we got a lychee Calpico. There is water in the food hall too for those who don't want to purchase drinks. Since I don't eat meat I won't be trying most of this stuff but I have had their catsu before and it is good. What I get here is this cabbage salad it's just a little thing and me and my wifey love this stuff.... The guy who runs this place is really nice he came out and brought our food to us even though we were waiting at another place... the cool flowery flag and calligraphy art make it feel very authentic but of course it is legit without that. With so many selections to choose at the food from hall me and my friend went with Curry ya and so happy we did! The service was amazing. Their staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Even when they brought our food they ensured everything we ordered was to our liking. We got the chicken curry which came with cabbage salad, and miso soup. We also order the beef and vegetable gyoza. All and all from the service to how delicious everything was I will definitely come back. Highly recommend them! read more

Honestly this is such a great deal. Soup, salad, and japanese curry all for $13! Not to mention the food was excellent. The workers in the food hall are excellent and made this such an easy experience to go in and out of. I loved the location and the different options inside I cannot wait to try more of the food inside. It was so cute and I love the seating and how open it is. Located in Cheongdam Food Hall, I enjoyed my curry udon from Curry-Ya. My only feedback was that the curry broth was oiler than I'm used to. The seating is spacious and open. There seems to be workers that belong to all the food stalls that will bring your food to you and take back your dishes. No one will be taking your orders, giving you water and drink, etc from your table. However, I'm more than happy to do that myself. read more

Located inside the newly opened food court away from Chinatown and the strip! A great location for locals and to bring your guests to. I picked Curry Ya because everything was decently priced. You get your moneys worth here! $10.95 for a combo meal: entree, salad, and miso soup. You order at the cashier and bring a number to whatever table you want to pick. Service is quick and efficient. Finding a table was a bit chaotic, so I recommend someone ordering and someone else in the party looking for a table. Food was out in 15 minutes and quality was great! New food court in Las Vegas, interesting concept. This is a stand alone food court not like the ones inside a casino or a supermarket. Of course I ordered the curry pork katsu to give them a try. They have four heat levels to decide on. I went with the second level of medium but i probably could have went to the third level of spicy since i normally liberally sprinkle the chile pepper on it anyway. The curry was quite good but no hint of carrots or potatoes were missing, but the curry was still a standout. The pork katsu was a decent size but obviously a little small for me nonetheless a very good portion for most small eaters, it was not overcooked and not too lean a cut of pork. The rice was plain medium grain not sushi grade rice but adequate for a food court setvice. You are serviced by ordering and paying, given a numbered placard and a runner will bring your food. The best thing about this food court is the hours, you are able to get good food late because this food court is open until eleven pm. read more

Open and spacious food court which happened to be an old pharmacy! The space was put to good use. Everyone in my party purchased something from each of the restaurants within the food court. I think the prices were pretty good for what you get, but I'm hoping the prices don't increase once they have their grand opening- if they have one. I ordered their chicken katsu curry which is served on an oversized white pasta plate and comes with a cabbage salad and miso soup. I thought it was delicious- comparable to zen curry minus the smell of fried foods permeating your clothing and hair. The curry was thick & tasty, rice was just right and the chicken was crispy but not dry. They have staff on duty who immediately take your plates once you're done and clean off tables for others. Mood- Curry on the Mind With our temperatures getting colder I have certain foods that are in my "wheel circle of food" Curry is always one of them. Will warm you up and for me, provides comfort like a big soft blanket. Or maybe that is just my inner foodie talking. Lol Upon entering it is a new food hall. So you go to the counter, place your order, pay, then your given a number, find seating, and it is brought out to you. We were asked if we had any questions. The menu is pretty self explanatory. Opted for the Spam Katsu Curry and katsu pork with cheese curry. I was highly pleased with the flavors and the crispy flakes of the Katsu. I certainly took my time to devour my food. Interior of this hall is great. There are many seating options from small to larger size. Music was playing in the background. There were several employees on the floor making sure the areas were taken care of. Music was playing in the background. Would most def recommend- pricing for the portions was very reasonable. The open food hall style building can make for a noisy ambiance, but in a fun immersive way. (As of 4/7/24) Curry Ya has a 13 different curry dishes, 5 udons, and a small selection of appetizers. This place is located in the Cheongdam Food Hall. I ordered their Ribeye Steak Curry with a Level 1 Spice Level and their fried oysters. Every order comes with Miso Soup & Salad. I felt that the ribeye steak was a bit tough to chew and the curry was really spicy for just being a level 1. The miso soup and salad were alright. The curry itself was bland to me. The only thing I enjoyed is their Fried Oysters. Service is great. There are workers serving your food to your table. Overall, this place was not as great as I expected it to be. This place serves ok curry, but the wait is wayyyy tooooo long!!! Ordered Katsu, Chicken Curry, side of corn. Corn came out in 5 mins. Chicken came out at 35 mins and Katsu came out in 45 mins. Very weird to serve food this way especially since we don't eat unless the other also has their food. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because of kindness and everyone was working hard but this place over all is a flat 3 stars for me. Kindness goes a long way so they get bumped up, but we won't be back. The Curry Katsu from here is great for the portion, price, and convenient out of the other food hall options. I feel like the curry needs a little more flavor to it besides different spice levels. I ordered the Chicken Katsu and Pork Katsu, both were great! I also like that it comes with a side of miso soup and salad. The service is quite quick compared to the other restaurants and almost always has a longer line compared to others. Super cute that they added a little snack store on the counter, definitely picked up a couple snacks that reminded me of my childhood. I'll definitely be back to grab to-go for lunch! read more
