This is the second time I've eaten in this restaurant wait till a few days ago with some friends of ours from the Phoenix area and everybody enjoyed the meal. I had the same thing today that I had them two eggs scrambled tired, covered with grilled onions and bacon crispy and the roasted potatoes Rosa with coffee. Everything was great. My wife said she absolutely loved your omelette and the couple we were with two days ago so they loved your food as well, please just needs clean. The waitress was pleasant manager came over to check and see if everything was OK. They really know how to run a restaurant. This is an easy five star. read more

Walked up to this bustling spot and thought shoot, we will have to wait forever. Pleasant surprise to be seated within 10 minutes at the bar (which we prefer anyway). The service was great! The staff was sweet and helpful. They were cranking out French press coffee and it was so fun to watch. Seems to be popular there. I ordered the turkey Sausage and Polenta bowl. It was out of this world. I'm a sucker for white beans and the eggs, Turkey Sausage and fried Polenta are served on a bed of the white beans. Absolutely delish dish. Hubs had the Flannel Hash and he thoroughly enjoyed it especially since he loves corned beef. I'd gladly go back for more. There was so much on the menu I'd like to try. Quite the selection of omelets, Benedicts and pancakes. Being that it's in Old Town Scottsdale, you'll have lots to see before or after brunch too. One of my favorite brunch spots in Phoenix. I love the boozy coffee drinks and the menu isn't just the normal egg Benedict's etc, but instead I had the crispy polenta and roasted poblano Benedict and wow! I love new menu items that you don't see everywhere. It's not something you think of putting together but I enjoyed it. My mom enjoyed her egg white healthy omelette and my boyfriend liked his breakfast burrito. read more

The food was flavorful & hearty. The scrambled eggs came out looking like an omelette but it was great. The bacon was big & cooked perfectly. I also got a steak bowl with an egg over easy on top. It looked like all the ingredients were cooked separately and tossed in the same bowl but it comes together very well with the egg. There is also a side of sauce that gives you an entirely different experience. Good prices too. Allison (server) was great & the manager (we thought he was) checked in as well. Delicious breakfast/brunch spot!! Had my first visit today and will definitely be back soon. The service was friendly and on top of it! We got an omelette, eggs Benedict, and chocolate strawberry pancake. Don't skip the pancakes, they're so good!! OMG this place is the bomb. I discovered upon it by googling places in Scottsdale to eat while visiting . I ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes which came with one side. The portion size was so big we got 3 stacks. I also ordered a beer mimosa to go along with my meal . The rest of my party had got the crab cake omelet, which was good , s'mores pancakes and strawberry banana waffle. I was stuffed when I left here and the prices were really good. Got in for breakfast and waited about 10/15 minutes. Super quick and efficient. Had the berry and honey oats which tasted super fresh, ordered a side of brown sugar to add a little sweet. The product tastes similar to coffee and it was pretty good. However, customer service is everything. I've made several attempts to contact them because they charged me for two orders. I was very cordial with my first email as I recognized the mistake was mine. I was editing my next order but it made two orders instead. I contacted them immediately before they shipped it. Then they shipped it anyway. So, I contacted them again to let them know I didn't want both orders and let them know the additional charge bounced my account. Still nothing. For the third time, at this point I'm so disgusted with the lack of response and blatant disregard that I'm doing a show for them on my YouTube channel. Gotta get the word out! Not a huge brunch guy but this place looked good and was by the Hotel so I gave it a spin and liked it a lot. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. WiFi worked and was convenient. The star was the meal... everything tasted good and was fresh. I thought the DD hash (butternut squash hash w mushrooms) was amazing. Better than traditional potato hash. Eggs were runny to soft. Prefer them to be more on the runny side. Chorizo was spicy. In hindsight I probably should have gone without the chorizo or light on the hollandaise sauce but that's on me. I enjoy coming here for breakfast from time to time. If I can get a seat at the bar then I'm particularly happy. This last visit my friend and I both ordered the applewood bacon eggs benedict with potatoes and fruit. It was very tasty although we both thought the poached eggs were slightly overcooked. Portions of food are delicious and huge! I had the Smokey stuffed portabello mushroom "health nut" choice with a gluten-free pancake, Apple juice and coffee. Ask for maple syrup to get the real deal...I found out later in the meal. Okay, here I go again and asked our waiter to mention this to the owner...let's not automatically put straws in apple juice and water glass- yikes! Can we have less plastic in our oceans with one small item not being used!?! My friend had the Mixed berry protein cakes - with wheat batter and stuffed with 5 different fruits, almonds, and flax with fruit on side. Huge! The staff is freaking awesome at Daily Dose! They seated me immediately and, because the weather was a bit chilly, set up the heaters. My server was amiable, attentive and helpful with suggestions and knowledgeable about the area. I had the Poblano Eggs Benny and a bacon-bloody Mary. I'll be honest, the food was...okay...lacking robust and memorable flavors. Not the best I've had; not the worst. So while visiting Arizona we decided to come here and try it out for breakfast. Wow oh wow! We all enjoyed every bite. This place is in the heart of Scottsdale and very popular. There is plenty of three hour free parking around. We only waited about 20 mins for a party of three. This seems to be a favorite of the people of AZ. They were very busy but have plenty of space to accommodate all party sizes. They also have an outdoor patio area and dog friendly. They offer iced water infused with cucumber to fresh you. Our server was very polite and attentive. Our food came out nice and fresh so the wait time didn't bother me. If we come back to this area I would totally come back. I've had the good fortune to be a patron of Daily Dose since its opening, so I am shocked I haven't taken the time to provide a review before now. Having recently visited again, I was reminded of the many reasons this was my favorite breakfast and lunch venue in the area (I recently moved away). The menu is inventive, but it's the quality of both the food and service that makes this such a wonderful venue. Proprietor Jen is truly a gem - she makes every visit so bright and fun, and understands the importance of details. As for the food - wow. The DD hash is one of my most favorite side dishes, and no one cooks better fries in the world! The strawberry salad is truly the best I've tasted, and the Gladiator burger is my husband's favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast or lunch anytime! read more

Kind of a strange place. It's like they have bar staff running a breakfast joint. Server seem flustered, had to ask for everything. That said I had the Benedict and eggs done properly and food was decent presentation was lack luster but meal was ok. Hollandaise was not bad. Potatoes need work and fruit was awful. Walk in the door at 7:05am No one around. Wait 2 minutes or so. A guy walks up and asks "can I help you?" With hesitation I say "we would like to eat breakfast, you are open, right?" The guy "well yeah, we just opened as he looks at his watch" "If we're inconveniencing you while here just after open we can leave." "No no, booth or table?" We sit down, my wife is pregnant, so she orders decaf coffee. He gives us a funny look. She asks "is that not an option?" He responds "it is, but I would have to make it" Another inconvenience for a restaurant You'd think during tough times resulting from a pandemic, a restaurant would welcome guests to serve them and generate business. Daily dose used to be our breakfast spot, but as we sit at Breakfast Club, getting excellent and friendly service, we won't be back. read more

Visiting from out of state. Nice place for breakfast. Staff was friendly and attentive. My wife had the banana French toast which she liked but seemed to heavy to me with banana bread as the base. Oatmeal was good but it is just basic oatmeal and brown sugar. I had the hangover sandwich. Good breakfast sandwich. Would have been better if the egg was truly over easy, yolk was too cooked. Fruit side was just honeydew melon with one piece of pineapple. A little disappointed there. Good experience overall and would go back again if we lived local. read more

This spot is definitely worth the wait for weekend brunch! The worst thing about this place is trying to choose just one item from all of the amazing options. Daily Dose is definitely not a secret so expect a wait on a weekend morning. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. The restaurant does provide cucumber water and coffee outside to enjoy while you wait. The Chorizo & Jalapeno Corncakes were calling my name. This was one of the best breakfast items I've ever had. So simple and yet so delicious. The cornbread pancakes with chorizo and jalapeno were delicious. The cheese sandwiched between the pancakes was just icing on the cake of this dish. Of course to send it over the edge the dish is topped with two eggs. The serving was huge and while you'll want to eat every last bite you most likely won't be able to eat it all. For my side I went with the DD Hash which was a roasted butternut squash. That was delicious with a nicely flavored seasoning on top. My husband had the Pumpkin Crunch pancakes that were on special that weekend. I snuck a few bites and found it to be quite delicious. The rest of our family also raved about their breakfasts. We were six happy diners for sure. read more

The PB&J burger was disappointing. This is their flagship burger and I didn't think it was very good. You barely taste any PB or J, if at all, and it's just a plain burger with an oozing mess. Would love a stronger PB&J flavor on this one. The inside is fine, nothing out of the ordinary, but I must say our server was fantastic. I'd gladly come back and try other options since a lot of them sounded really good.

Have been to this place twice now.....both times after a long bike ride from Tempe on a Sunday morning. Wanted to give it two chances before i wrote a review. Friend and I sat on the patio both times which is right on Scottsdale rd. A very warm,cozy and fun patio. Had two diffent menu items each time and all were delicious. The bisquits n gravy are amazing and have a very distinct taste. The hangover sandwich was excellent..even without a hangover. The service is top notch. This place pays close attention to detail and all the staff I encountered was friendly. The inside is clean and coxy as well. Love the Daily Dose, depending where the work day is starting we go to either this one or the Mid-town location practically weekly! Service has almost always been incredibly friendly, and the food is great. The protein pancakes are unlike anyone elses in the valley (interesting that that's even a common thing, but Daily Dose has the best), and the cappuccinos for whatever reason are unique; better than most breakfast spots. One of the managing partners, named Allen, see's us quite often and is always really helpful and friendly. I've recommended this place to several friends who have came to town and all seemed to have loved it as well! read more

I brought my sister who was visiting to Daily Dose for lunch and it was very good. I've been here a couple of times for lunch and breakfast. I love their breakfast and I really like lunch too. My sister had a cheese burger which was awesome (with the pretzel bun). I had the turkey melt which was really good too. The nachos were a delicious starter as well. This place is very quaint and has a really great patio setting. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because, as a server, I am a little picky when it comes to service. Service was a little slow and not very attentive but it was in the early afternoon hours so it seemed lax. read more

This place is great. I love, love, love the slushy red sangria for a lunch time snack! It seems fairly low in alcohol so I don't feel bad drinking 1 or 2 mid day :) The food is pretty good. My favorite side is the Crispy Polenta, it comes with 2 types of salsas for dipping. The white jalapeño cheese sauce is great on the Nachos because it's a sauce and doesn't get hard on the chips when it cools. The french onion soup is also a favorite for me. I come about once a week because they have free Wifi so I can make it working lunch. The patio is dog friendly which works great for me as I have 2 dogs and they can be with me. read more

The Daily Dose is a great place to go to for happy hour, lunch and sometimes Breakfast. The staff is usually very nice and there is a great outside patio to sit on if not too hot. I don't eat meat but I do eat fish, there are some options for me but I wish they had a few more. I like the veggie burger, and the fish tacos, and a couple of the salads. There breakfast menu is great but if you don't get there before 830 there is usually a long line to wait and I just won't wait for in line for breakfast anymore. read more

This restaurant has become a weekend staple with my group of friends. Almost every weekend one of my friends inevitably leaves their car in Old Town and needs to retrieve it the next day. So, we always stop ot Daily Dose in the car retrieval process. The Eggs Benedict are great and the Hangover Sandwich is the BOMB! Service can be a little slow on the weekend as they get JAM PACKED. Plan on waiting about 15-20 minutes for a table, but they do have coffee, water and comfy chairs out front. read more

Even if the food is good I would suggest going somewhere else. The owner is incredibly unwelcoming and the manager Adam made me and my friend feel uncomfortable. He would not stop starting at her and even after our waitress (who is wonderful BTW) would check in on us he would be right there acting like she didn't just take care of us. I would give it one star if not for our waitress Marissa who is the only reason to go. So sad to see an establishment mistreat their staff and customers. read more

Stopped in for happy hour last night and was really surprised. I ordered the chicken nachos, $5 on happy hour, they were huge! They were not just a giant pile of bad cheese and beans either, I was pleasantly surprised. Good specials on drinks too, i had a rally good beer with my nachos. I hopped on the trusty Yelp app and came across Cobre Kitchen + Cocktails. I walked over and discovered that this bar/restaurant was inside the Canopy Hilton hotel. Ambiance (3.5/5): Enter the hotel, make a left, and you'll hit Cobre. There aren't any doors so it's part of the lobby area in the corner. I sat at the bar. Contemporary decor. Very much your typical, nice hotel bar. Service (4.5/5): There were two bartenders working and not a lot of customers so that made things easier but my bartender did a good job taking care of me. He wasn't friendly but he was efficient at his job. Food (N/A): Only drinks for me on this visit. Drinks (3.5/5): During happy hour, all cocktails are $2 off. While not a huge discount, they do have a nice list of 12 or so craft cocktails. I tried two and both were hits. One was a gin-based cocktail (Stone Fruit Collins) which was refreshing. The other was a vodka-based cocktail. This one was more on the sweet side. Solid all-around. If you're looking for some nice cocktails, this makes for a nice selection. It's more laid back than some other spots in Scottsdale which may be exactly what you're looking for.

Ingredients are fabulous. I usually go for a savory item like a skillet or classic breakfast (tip to add cheddar cheese to your scrambled eggs). Then, you can get a side of specialty pancake for a slight upcharge!

Or that the bacon was cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. The ambiance of the place is great is wonderful with a good mix of music playing in the background yet not too loud that you can't hold a conversation. The cheesy grits were flavorful and filling and the pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent.

I loved the whole layout, decor, everything! It gives 70s vibes when life was carefree, warm, and personal. It felt like food was created with a lot of intention and love. Definitely not like your typical breakfast diner where they just give you a plate of breakfast food that tastes the same as every diner. This place is űber bright and cheery, has several seating options- tables, booth, and bar; and patio seating for cooler days. Today wasn't the day for us since it's 101°. Service reflects the warmth of the place. Our server was helpful and gave us time to look through the menu. Would love to come back next time I'm in town.

The Lass politely scrunched with glee on her "Lovely Bit of Salmon" Pasty.. The Lad roughly munched with drool on his "Guinness Stew" Pasty.. All pasty had a wonderful, flavourful, flakey crust with tasty fillings. Washed down with.. A "Hibiscus Green Iced Tea"by the Women Folk and.. A "Koffee Kolsch Beer" by The Lad.
