Delicious, fresh caught fish, smothered in fresh produce and mild/hot sauce. Are you getting hungry yet? This place add to your "must try". First it's in an open area with several food trucks. Deckhand Daves is first as you enter. I recommend the taco sampler. I ordered this with a side of fries. Fries were nothing special but we devoured the tacos. It's from a small shack, plenty of seating in the wooden deck area covered by Edisson bulbs. There's fresh free water in service. Next to deckhand Dave's is a crepe place, oysters and champagne, and a beer boat. Yes, this place is magical. The attendant was so sweet and friendly, she walked us through the menu which ultimately lead us to pick the sampler. We are so glad we did. Plus this place has gorgeous views of Alaska skyline, waterfalls, and the main part of town. Great place to rest, splurge, and enjoy Alaska at its best.

These fish tacos are delicious! The crispy halibut was my favorite but they were all good. Fried to perfection and the sauce is awesome. The salmon tater tots were really good too! We also had their raw oysters that were good too! Expensive coming from New Orleans but nice to try!

What an amazing find. This restaurant is owned by a former commercial fisherman and they have a great menu. The atmosphere is also very relaxing. We had a vegetarian eater and a keto eater and hungry kids with us. We started off with lots of delicious oysters and beers . We then ordered halibut tacos and a wrap and fried halibut and it was all first class. They really know how to fry their fish. Great employees and great service. You can't go wrong here. We all left full and happy. We will return here in the future.

The beer battered halibut tacos are the way to go!

My cousin recommended this spot for fish tacos on a cruise stop and I was a bit skeptical at first. Fish tacos. How good can they get? Was I wrong. My life has been forever changed. Wow. The beer battered fried halibut tacos with mild avocado crema were absolutely mind blowing. So good that I ordered a trio and quickly went back to put in another order. I have not had a fish taco as perfectly fried and tender as these. Crap. This spot has set the bar for me and every time I eat a fish taco now, I will cry a little inside knowing I'll never get this perfection again.

Both the halibut tacos and salmon tacos were really good. The food tasted really fresh and they had some local sauces that complimented nicely. A nice place to eat outside or under the canopy.

These lived up to the hype. Yes they are just fish tacos, but made with fresh Alaskan seafood and in the cutest food truck courtyard (especially on a warm sunny June evening). I'll be dreaming of these tacos and this evening in Juneau for a while.

Fantastic! Love the communal vibe, food, trucks, everything. Fish and chips and fish tacos were top notch! I will come back as soon as im in Juneau again.

So my review is based on just one item off of their menu. We were walking around downtown Juneau after our shore excursion was cancelled due to the weather. Ordering and receiving food is efficiently run. There was a constant line but it's quick to order and you get a number to take with you to a table, where they bring out the food to you. I tried the salmon bites and it was flavorful, crisp and warm. Seasoning was just right and the dill-infused tartar sauce (?) complemented well.

    Rockfish and chips..omg so good!

OMG this place was amazing! We were visiting Juneau on a cruise ship and came here for lunch. I got the rockfish and chips. Husband got halibut tacos. The food was SO good. Like amazingly delicious. My husband actually went back and ordered more tacos. Service was quick and efficient. You order at the food truck and they give you a number and bring your food out to you. There's a nice little covered seating area to keep you out of the rain (because it's probably gonna be raining). Condiments and water were readily available. Loved everything about this spot and I would recommend to everyone visiting Juneau!

Worthy of the hype!! Great fish tacos and fish cakes. We really liked the spicy halibut. The fire pits and seating area is very communal and encourages chit chat with fellow diners. There is a covered tent area that protects you from occasional rain too. It's a short walk from the cruise ship area and there are 4-5 other food options in the same picnic area, making it an ideal stop for families with picky eaters.

I'm not sure if I will ever be able to eat Halibut tacos again. The bar is now set so high, nothing can compare.

Delicious but a bit overpriced. Close to harbor for cruises so may be worth it. Service was great.

I noticed that their menu occasionally has shellfish. Has anyone with a shellfish allergy eaten here without issue?

It was not overly battered and perfectly fried. It was so fresh. The sidewinder fries were awesome! The Drive Through burger was delicious and the fries were also yummy. We got the pickles in the side - the person running the truck told us he makes the pickles. They were sooooo good. He also brought out a sample of the bbq chicken for us and it was very good. We sat at the table outside and ate the food and it was great! I will absolutely be back here the next time I am in Juneau. This place is a must-try!

While this isn't my favorite (try Sandbar), the fish is fresh and it's pretty hard to complain. Another win for fish and chips in the area. The shape of the potatoes is a bit weird looking, but surprisingly it works and they were nice and crispy. I did think the fish batter was a tad doughy on the inside, and yet a little overcooked on the outside. Not the end of the world though, and I still enjoyed it. We did stop by during the week for lunch and the truck was closed, which was a bit annoying. One of the brewery employees said this place doesn't always open reliably, for various reasons. Just something to be aware of. Better luck on the weekends. Overall it's a nice spot right next to the Alaskan Brewing Company, which has lots of great beers and a nice patio spot out back to eat your fish, have a beer, and hang out with your dog. Yum!
