Recently visited again and it certainly hasn't changed. Everything is as delicious and delightful as I remember. Lots of items to choose from and the menu on the wall has photos. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the quality. Usually two ladies working the front that I've seen most of the times coming here. Take out only but there's one or two tables you can sit at to squeeze in the back.

Still on the hunt for my next go-to dim sum place. The dim sum here erred on the side of doughy. Very little filling for the fried meat dumplings, sesame balls, and buns. The rice noodles were oddly thick and doughy as well. I didn't mind the lotus leaf glutinous rice and shrimp dumplings however. Small shop with one table for seating. You may be asked to split with another customer.

If you're looking for a less-touristy, dim sum-focused shop in Chinatown, Delicious Dim Sum has you covered. As of writing this review, they're about 50-60¢ cheaper per 3-piece order for shrimp dumplings and pork shumai compared to Good Mong Kok. Located on Jackson St across from the Fortune Cookie Factory, this small, classic Chinatown spot serves all your favorite dim sum to-go -- simple, efficient, and delicious. - Pork Shumai -- juicy, meaty, and perfectly balanced by the thin wonton wrapper - Chive & Shrimp Dumpling -- something about chives in Chinese food just hits right; savory and full of seafood flavor - Beef Rice Noodle -- tender beef wrapped in soft but not doughy rice noodles, served with soy sauce on the side Service is no-frills yet friendly, and the ambience centers around the bustle of dim sum prep -- always a good sign it's authentic. It's cash preferred (3% card fee), to-go only, with no indoor seating. I'd recommend taking your meal to Washington Square Park or enjoying it back at home or your hotel. Great prices, classic flavors, and fresh, hearty portions -- Delicious Dim Sum is my go-to dim sum shop in Chinatown SF!

Great prices with huge portions! Dim sum was tasty and good with lots of options. The staff were nice and friendly, recommending some items also. It's a small store so suitable for takeaway only.

This will easily become my regular spot when in China Town!!! There was a line for about 20 minutes to get into place, and there were great options. The scallion and shrimp ones with a toasted side were incredible!!! The pork shumai were also delicious! My biggest critique was that they do not provide nearly enough soy sauce for what you order, next time I'll double my request. There is also no chili oil, or places to eat inside. You have to enjoy your yummy food elsewhere. Note to self, don't eat dim sum while watching a dumpling eating contest... (happening just a few blocks away). lol.

We went when it was pretty busy around Lunar New Year, and it wasn't busy when we came in. The lady at the counter took our order quickly and sat us three at the only table in the small area. She provided chili oil and soy sauce. 3.5/5 for the food. I've had better but I was pretty satisfied with the shrimp noodle. The bun seemed like it didn't have much meat at first, but about 2 bites in and I realized there was a decent amount in it.

Stopped by Delicious Dim Sum while in Chinatown. No line and easy to order on a weekday. I had the shrimp dumplings and spring rolls. Loved the shrimp dumplings. The spring rolls were just okay because they were cold. Had they been hot I'm sure it would been better. Also, this place accepts cash only so make sure you have some before stopping by.

We came around 2PM and got some shrimp rice rolls, Shanghai dumplings, fried sticky rice ball and shrimp and chive dumpling. The shrimp rice was was delicious, but there were maybe three pieces of shrimp in an order and no extras like green onions. The fried sticky rice ball was okay, but a bit too sweet for my liking, and the dumpling skin on the Shanghai dumpling way too thick and pork had no flavor. Chive and shrimp dumpling was good. Everything was sold in servings of 3 pieces, averaging $3.20-3.80 per set. Decent dim sum, but not the best in the area. There are a few chairs to sit at, but no tables or restrooms.

Came in about an hour and a half before closing on a Saturday and there were still plenty of dim sum left. The counter lady seemed a bit impatient with us, but she easily handled our 4-person order with ease. She was able to tell us what items were sold out and suggested good replacements. Each order was 3 pieces - about a dollar or so each dumpling. It's a small place with a long counter so be warned - there's a park walking distance that you can eat at. It's mainly a pick up place and they prefer cash. In Chinatown, it's in the middle of bustling alley ways and across the street from the fortune cookie company. Definitely worth its value and pretty big dumplings for the price. Will definitely be back to try more when I'm in the area.

My wife and I wanted some Dim Sum, so through recommendations we came to Delicious Dim Sum for some. The store is not big, it is a small take out joint with no place to sit inside. There was a line and it's not a big deal as long as the food delivers so we waited. When it came my turn I asked if they had certain items in the pictures they have plastered throughout the store. They were apparently out of stock while others are still available. I followed up asking more questions like, when will it be on stock again? ....a pause and a mean stare. "It's just have to wait", she said with the intent to pass me off to the next customer after me? I was like umm...okay, maybe I will pass on these items then? I mean if it's 5 minutes, it's really not that big of a deal but should I continue this conversation with a money hungry angry Asian lady with is apparently ready to skip my long awaited turn for the next guy down for asking questions? Smartly, I just ordered your typical Cantonese staples like shumai, bbq pork bun, and then when came time for the bill, due to the noise from the amount of people inside it was hard to hear her. When I questioned her about the change, she got angry and raised her voice with the total bill. Jeez man. Dumbfounded, why did I just waited 15 minutes on a line to deal with an angry Asian lady for? I was a little disappointed at her reaction. If you can call "service", this would be it, taking the money from the customer and communicating to them clearly on a take out right? Let's say I misheard, what's the big deal? Not to mention that there's no receipt so who knows if any of their math is correct? The food itself was good, but it's been a while since I had to deal with serious rude customer service. I will have to think twice the next time I'm in SF as there are plenty of dim sum places as an alternative so if you are looking for people that will treat you with decent manners, this won't be it unfortunately.

Great Foodie Experience from DeliciousDimSum :))

The Dim Sum served here is cooked fresh, very delicious and absolutely has reasonable prices! The service was fast friendly and the lady working the counter was super sweet with us being our first time. I definitely recommend bringing cash, my order was roughly about $12. I ordered Pork & Shrimp Dumplings, Pork Shumai, and my favorite The Shanghai Dumpling!! There was a line when we arrived; the food is all made to-go, but there are plenty of photo worthy spots to enjoy your food :)

Great memories . As a child, it was habitual , haircut off Jason and dim sum while we waited for a chair to open up. During school lunchtime Back when we carry lunch boxes the pot stickers almost always came from here. Always someone at school would ask what's that? The potsticker had this distinctive taste one can't forget. Now this place takes credit card and still serving up delicious dim sum just without the potstickers it's been replaced with the shen zen baos . 3 pieces of dim sum at 3.80 draws a crowd from the fortune cookie factory, I'm happy to see them still in business and consistent with the dim sum till this day.

This line was about 20 minutes at this point.

There's a ton of dim sum spots in Chinatown, so if you're here for the first time - it can be hard to figure out where to go. When in doubt, look for the crowds. Since I was visiting Chinatown for the first time, I relied on Yelp and crowd size to gauge whether to eat somewhere or not. This place had great reviews... and a 30 minute long wait. I was already tired walking around from all the hills that didn't show up on Google Maps, so figured I'd rest a bit while waiting in this slow moving line. The wait was worth it. Not only is the dim sum fresh (there were steamed trays of dumplings that came out while I was getting close to the front of the line), but the prices were very competitive (3 pieces of pork shu mai for $3.50 for example), and the quality was great. The rice rolls were thick (which I love), fresh, and had a good rice roll to filling ratio. I made out with an entire tray full of different dim sum favorites (pork shu mai, shrimp & chive dumplings, beef rice rolls, shrimp rice rolls) for less than $20. Wish they included another container of soy sauce though. I already had giant egg tarts left over from Stockton Bakery in my bag, so didn't pick up any dessert items here. There is one table for indoor seating - and a few chairs. This is mostly a takeout place, so no issues there. If you do end up eating here anyway, expect it to be loud. What was frustrating though - through no fault of the restaurant - was that the line wasn't slow because service was slow - it was slow because of all the time people took to order and decide what to get, even after waiting in line for 30+ minutes. Like maybe look at the menu when you get closer to the front, see what food is left (because they do sell out as you get through the day), so you don't hold up the rest of us by the time its your turn to order. The main lady here isn't rude, she's just business oriented - time is money. She was nice to me because I knew exactly what I wanted, and when one of the items I wanted was out, I quickly decided on a suitable alternate. Cash preferred, card taken with 3% surcharge.

Nope -- everything is takeout only.

Trying to find food for a friend that doesn't like spicy stuff. Are there mild options?

We started with the escargot and milk bread, which was incredibly garlicky in the best way. The escargot itself had an almost mushroom-like texture, with subtle Asian influences, though it also reminded us of classic American garlic butter. Regardless, it was delicious and a great way to start the meal. The kumquat highball was probably our favorite drink of the night--refreshing, balanced, and full of bright citrus flavor. The oolong tea was good, although we've had better elsewhere. The Xinjiang lamb skewer was an interesting interpretation, almost like a flavorful meatball rather than a traditional skewer, but it worked well. Our favorite dish was the claypot rice with Chinese sausage and bacon. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and the combination of smoky, savory, and crispy textures made it an absolute standout. The special of the day, fried sole with fermented mustard greens, was also memorable. The fish itself was excellent, but the dish had two distinct personalities. The side coated in the sauce had deep, savory flavors that felt unmistakably Asian, while the top with the mustard greens had a surprisingly Western character--we even thought we detected dill. It was an unusual contrast, but an interesting one. The dessert was also an interesting take on the mango pudding - strawberry sorbet was a nice addition with the mango pudding with almond flakes and real strawberries. Overall, Four Kings delivers creative, memorable food in a vibrant setting. It's the kind of restaurant that takes familiar flavors in unexpected directions, and we're already looking forward to seeing what they come up with next.

Once they opened the doors we were seated immediately so the strategy paid off. The menu looked incredible across the board so we went in and tried almost everything. We ordered a ton for 2 people and had a lot to bring home. Here's the breakdown: Order these: Squab Liver Skewers: Rich and packed with flavor, a great way to start. I dont even like liver, but this was good! Typhoon Shelter Soft Shell Crab: Really well executed, would order again without hesitation. Salt and Pepper Tiger Prawns: Simple but done perfectly. Singaporean Chili Crab with Fried Milkbread: Delicious but one note here. The bread is a bit much and doesn't add a ton to the dish. This would be even better served over noodles to soak up all that chili crab sauce. HK Black Pepper Steak: So juicy and flavorful. One of the standouts of the night. XO Escargot with Milkbread: Another winner. Beef Chow Fun Noodles: Genuinely the best chow fun I've ever had. Do not skip this one. Mapo Spaghetti with Beef: A fun and unexpected combination that really works. Salt and pepper squid skewers: Packed with protein. Super flavorful! Yuzu Sake: The perfect drink pairing for this menu. Skip these: Chong Qing Fried Hawt Rabbit and Peruvian Chicken Fried Rice were the two misses of the night. Save your stomach space for everything else. The flavors here are exceptional and the service matched it perfectly. Will absolutely be back and already trying to figure out how to snag a reservation next time!

There was no music playing and it felt like everyone was whispering at their tables because it felt weird to talk at a normal volume. The interior design also does not match the quality/price of the food - I really think this place could use a redesign and new paint job... Anyway, the food overall was good, but definitely on the pricey side. We got two items off the seasonal menu - a spicy shrimp wonton starter, and the country fried rice. The wontons were good, but not spicy, and the fried rice was really good. It definitely could have used some chili oil on top, but was still good as it was served. The food also came out pretty quickly and was a great temperature. We also got the spicy string beans. They were alright, but not much better than any other dim sum restaurant's. Our total after tax & tip was about $100 for two people, with just two starters, one main dish, and a single beer. This definitely feels high for the quality/quantity of the food, but the great service helps makes up for this. I would say if this place got a redesign and lowered the prices a bit, it would be booked up every day.
