I stopped here for breakfast and although the service was mediocre, the establishment was quite dirty. The first set of silverware I was given had dried, crusty food on it. The second set of silverware was a little bit cleaner but was still noticeably dirty from food, not to be confused with hard water stains. I ordered the Buffalo boneless wings and they tasted disgustingly salty. I also had the strawberry/banana smoothie but I was to repulsed by the uncleanliness to finish it, though it tasted fine. No offense but this is just another dennys. No outlying aspect from any other dennys. The venue is quite big but that's the only difference. Was say immediately which was nice and I didn't want to waste the waitresses time so i ordered my food and drink right away. My drink came out in a matter of 1 minute. I ordered the super slam and it came out after quite a few minutes despite being one of 2 tables in there. It was only a super slam; eggs, bacon, hash browns sausage and pancakes. I'm not happy about our visits to Denny's. The whole time we were repeating ourselves and it hurt to ask for anything from our server. The only thing that went right was our drink order. I understand when people are busy and the time can be pushed a little. Our food came out in fine time but wasn't given any thought. Our server kept forgetting simple requested we made. We ended up asking a host who helped us right away. Maybe if our server was more attentive and payed attention to detail our visit would've gone more smooth. read more

Our service was immaculate but our waitress (Dora) was better. She sat us down very quickly even though it was during a light rush. She took our order very fast and got us our drinks even faster. Literally, less than ten minutes later our food was out. Of course, the food was amazing and just made my family members' birthday 10 times better. The ambiance of the place made the experience just a little bit more special. Glad we got to sit with such an amazing person. Definitely make another breakfast run in the future. read more

I realized how poorly I've been feeling when "crummy" is a vast improvement. That was today. So in my mind I decided what I wanted was turkey, mashed potatoes and dressing and I called the Dennys near me and it was surprisingly excellent. Ok, the stuffing was an afterthought. They could reconstitute FOR me, I did it it with cup-o-soup... Excellent turkey, not really juicy but not dry. Flavorful. Lots of gravy that was excellent and what a value! 3 big slices of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cup of chicken noodle soup, also excellent, bread, really great packaging (Thai e-San...Are you listening?) And the total cost was around $9.50. When I got home, immediately I had a slice of turkey, potatoes and dressing and I microwaved it -- it was delicious. About two hours later I made a turkey sandwich with the other two slices of turkey, on a hamburger bun with some American cheese and Miracle Whip and it was freaking delicious. That sandwich alone would've cost me $6-8 bucks at any sandwich store in the city. This sandwich with last slice...add mayo, lettuce, tomato. At one point the thought ran through my head, "God, Rudy's has such good turkey!" Rudy's BBQ HAS GREAT TURKEY. This was really good. One thing: answer your phones. Called tonite 5x, 40 rings, no answer. That would've been a big problem 2 days ago when I phoned in my order. Which reminds me: when I walked in servers standing behind a glass partition but can clearly see me, didn't bother in the least to greet me, grab the correct employee...nuttin' honey. I've said it before and I'll say it again: you are in the HOSPITALITY business. You should try to be hospitable. And if you should instill that hospitality in your employees. This has become a "nice" Denny's, where the place is clean and pretty, the waitstaff are extremely pleasant, the coffee refills are frequent (and the coffee will put hair on your chest), napkins are offered generously, and things pretty much go well. I'm putting it at only 3 stars because in comparison to other places in the coffee shop/family diner world, Denny's is reliable rather than exciting. It's open at the crack of dawn so a person can tank up before early morning Walmart shopping, which is a point for "reliable." The food is food. These were not the worst eggs I've ever had; they were not the best eggs. The sausage was a sausage. Whatever was supposed to be happening with the Rio Ranchero skillet happened, and it's at least genuinely spicy. Prices outside the $2-$4-$6-$8 menu are heading upward to meet the breakfast prices of chi-chi eateries, while the quality is still staunchly middle-of-the-road -- which is a chain-wide issue, not the fault of this Denny's, but still a reason to make it a breakfast fall-back rather than a breakfast destination. I'd do this again because Walmart's at its most bearable at 7:30 on Sunday morning, but it's better with a coupon, and I won't *not* search for more local and exciting alternatives. read more

I'm only just giving this Denny's a 'sort of ok', and that's for a couple of reasons. Firstly, the seats have holes in them and at times the place is shoddy / not overly clean. Also, the service is VERY variable and can take an age / lack of attention for top ups at times. Also the food quality is all over the map too... One time you go in and the food is great.. next time you wonder why you went in there... So... Overall it's never good and sometimes bad.. Go at your own risk. read more

When having lunch here I overheard the Manager of the store yell out "oh that little bitch can't help me" this was the most unprofessional experience I've ever seen or experienced in a restaurant setting. Man, the two (different) times I gone with my bf, I forgot my pancakes, so they forgot it also but I was still charged and I tipped. Then second time our waitress completely ignored us (which is fine) however she did not put in our order until 23 mins after we arrived therefore my bfs drink was gone before food arrived and he was not offered a refill during any time until AFTER we finished our food and didn't check on us once (which is when we could've asked) and we still waited for her to acknowledge we need the bill and that was one of the quicker part of the conversation. Manager just said it was due to a big party but she was literally walking passed us to get to her other tables and actually taking the time with them. We even kept looking at her to get her attention. We were completely ignored even tho we could see her attending other people that weren't this "big party". Hate to sound like this but we've worked in customer service and despite how tiring we are, we'd fucking never ignore costumers ESPECIALLY walking right passed them or coming to the table and not having some common sense to refill an empty cup or even ask after giving them food. I decided to give Denny's online ordering a try, placed our order online and purchase was confirmed, order was to be ready in 20 min. Upon arriving at the restaurant, it was crowded with no seating available so we stood there awkwardly waiting for the cashier. Two women tried cutting us in line until I mentioned that we were there first. However they couldn't find our order online, we were asked to step aside while the manager, Dora helped the the two women who had tried cutting us in line. When Dora was finished she then turned to us and asked for the confirmation number at this point I asked for my money back, I felt that it was poor customer service and Dora didn't at all seem to be bothered by it. I placed a call to the general manager who basically dismissed my feelings and her lack of customer service. I will never eat at Denny's this experience just put the nail in the coffin. read more
