SHAME ON YOU DENNY'S... Worst Denny's ever, no wonder they have low ratings. I stopped by to place a to go order since they refused to take it over the phone after 10pm. I paid over $22 for a sampler and a super bird. What a waste of money the sampler came with 2 super tiny strips (looked like chicken nuggets). My super bird was really oily didn't look like they even toast some color on it. Was pale yellow. Smh get it together Denny's. I chose to spend my hard earned money here and it was crap. Sadly I'm new to area and most likely never eat at this location again. read more

My daughter and I drove to this Denny's in redlands for dinner and when we opened up the door to enter at approximately 7:41PM were rudely told "we're closed" when the store hours say open until 8:00PM. I told the lady that I thought you closed at 8:00 and she said cold and rudely once again "we're closed" I just think that she the manager, (fat lady) just wanted to go home. If I was the owner and knew that she wasn't working in the best interest of my business especially with all the restaurant competition in the area, I would terminate her immediately. No worries though , there's lots of restaurants and I don't think I'll be back. Too bad because I was starting to enjoy coming to eat here because it's close to my home. But I do have to say, Saul is the best server I have encountered at this establishment, every time I go and he is there he makes sure me and my family are taken care of, and we deeply appreciate it that. So I went in to order food to go because I had only had cash the waitress was great the food was great well I then used the restroom and was followed in there by a lady that told me that she was homeless and she had ordered food and that she couldn't pay for it and she noticed that I had paid for my food with $100 bill which I had paid with a $20 so I don't know what she was doing then she proceeded fo block me from leaving the bathroom also when I was there another person had walked in and asked to use the restroom and he had a big duffel bag with him not trying to be mean with people but really this place made me feel really unsafe to be at today read more

This is the newest and yes classiest Dennys I've ever seen. My wife and we're regulars at the old Dennys across the street in the Redlands mall parking lot. Over the 25 years or so we ate their the restaurant became old and musty. The booths were torn and rarely fixed, etc. you get the idea. Now they remodeled the old Sizzlers across the street and it's gorgeous. The food, as always, is the best! I love their pancakes and cheddar cheese on the eggs. My wife loves their veggie omelette as well. 10 stars great job! read more

I go to this Denny's probably twice a month - and they would most likely be on a Tuesday night after a night out in Downtown Redlands with a group of people. I'm basing my rating off of the quality of the service when faced with a room full of loud, drunk, over-enthuse people who are too hungry to even be allowed seen in public. And based upon my visit, no other place could possibly handle a herd of drunks as gracefully, as delicately, as naturally.. as Denny's. Not only are the employees patient, but they are also understanding of our lack of articulation when ordering a simple "ssh..shakke.. aha.. pl..ease.." It almost seems like they are trained for this. Drunk People 101. It's pretty incredible when seen live. Because of that, 5 stars. The food is affordable. Quantity and quality {on some}. Workers will make you feel like you've made the right choice of choosing Denny's to eat at any time of the day. And last but but not least, not just at this Denny's - but when you leave, you will feel more American than ever; tummy out, smile on your face, America. We just had the best breakfast at my favorite location. I love the nostalgic 50's decor. Makes feel like I stepped back n time. Our server Chris, was exceptional ! He could work at any 5 star restaurant With his professional Grace. Oh yes and the food, it was great. I had the super slam. 2 amazing buttermik pancakes with sliced bananas and cream, 2 scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and 2 strips of crisp bacon and topped that off with a cup of decaf coffee with French vanilla creamer. 2 stars not because of our awesome server Raul (he was fantastic and attentive) but for the manager Judith. Judith over sat tables and didn't care that the servers were behind or getting overwhelmed. She walked the floor looking for servers to just be upset at them. Someone asked for a straw and instead of just grabbing the straw and giving it to the customer she looked for the server (that was extremely busy) to tell them their table needed a straw... so much for being a productive manager!!!
