Zesty Nachos with avocado, Jalapeños, sour cream full order.
Sak V.

It's been a min since I last step to any Dennys restaurant. My nephew was raving about how good their Zesty Nachos were. I had to give them a try myself. This was my first time coming to this Dennys, located in Redlands, CA. 4/5 Good My server recommended getting the seasoned fries. It has good portions and the seasoning was on point. It's not like tiny bits and pieces at Sushi Niku from last night's SMH. My waitress took good care of me while I was dining there, asking if everything was OK and refilled my water each time I was out. I can't believe their tap water tasted so clean I couldn't even taste any bitterness or smell any harsh chlorine like at the AYCE buffet at the Palms in LV SMDH. 3/5 Ok The full order of Zesty Nachos was just OK. It would be better if they used some refried beans and actually had grilled proteins instead. Also, they use slices of avocado, not guacamole, FYI. N/A Bad, nothing bad to report. I told my nephew if the Zesty Nachos don't taste good i'll be getting a refund from him LOL. My nephew doesn't really know what he's talking about, but I can understand he's just a kid, still growing and continuing to learn which place has good food or mediocre as they come. I'll give him a pass for now, but hey, at least tonight's food was way better than the one on Colton CA SMDH. Thank you Dennys for being reasonably priced, good portions and getting me full without any major regrets or complaints.

BYO Slam
Dennis T.

I have now eaten here three more times since my last review for this Denny's. And both food and service have been consistently good. For one late-night dinner I had a Lumberjack Slam with pancakes, ham, bland sausage, and very good bacon and eggs, while Diane ordered a Build Your Own Slam with Scrambled Eggs, bacon, double Crispy Hash Browns, and added Cheddar Cheese in the eggs. Our waitress kept saying, "I'll be with you soon" without actually following through on that pledge, The place looked to be so short staffed that we only saw one server and one cleaner in the restaurant. On the second most recent occasion involving another late-night dinner I enjoyed a cup of very good, hot and steaming Vegetable Beef Soup served in a crock, followed by a very good Country Fried Steak accompanied by Mashed Potatoes that were intended to be Roasted Redskin Potatoes. Service was fine. On the most recent visit for lunch just three days after the not so great experience just reported at the Denny's in North Las Vegas, the place was packed with diners amidst their last-minute Christmas shopping. Diane and I both had Build Your Own Slams. Hers had double Crispy Hash Browns, two Scrambled Eggs with cheese, My order was a Build Your Own Slam that called for two eggs, Hash Browns, and Blueberry Pancakes. With Cary's Sugar-free Maple Syrup the pancakes tasted a bit decadent. And service was excellent. XXX-1/2 stars overall for these three visits.

Loved being served by Veronica!!! Also, for 10 people it was under $100!!! Also, the fall decor is so cute!

this is the berry stuffed french toast breakfast combo and a tropical green smoothie. absolutely perfect!

GREAT 24/7 DENNY'S w/ FRIENDLY STAFF! My party and I rushed in before an event we had at the Redlands Bowl and we remembered that there was this Denny's nearby on Redlands Blvd. Last time, service was meh so we came in with low expectations as this was simply a necessary situation. Fortunately, the service is sooo much BETTER now! Our waitress Sera was proactive and helpful! I had no idea I could substitute wheat toast for 9-grain pancakes, now I do! There's a 99 cent charge since it's a specialty pancake, I was totally okay with that. I'm just happy I learned a new ordering hack! The Denny's was very clean and I love how spacious it is! It's pretty massive and has a large extra dining room for big parties. It's a pretty tame spot, it's good for families and friends. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much this diner has improved. I recommend the Ultimate Omelette it's filled with veggies and meat, it's the "ultimate" protein omelette haha. It was so flavorful and really satiated my breakfast craving!

This location has awesome service. The food was great, can't beat the prices. The ambience was chill, a slow afternoon and the service was excellent. Quick little pit stop before the road, genuinely enjoyed this location!

Empty plate because it was that good!!

Veronica was our server today and she was exceptional! A true sweetheart. She was very attentive to our table despite it being pretty busy. The food was also great, special thanks to the chefs!

Part 2 of last night's date night was around the corner at Copehouse Bar. It had started raining,…read moreso we were grateful for the short walk to arrive. We seated ourselves at our favorite raised table in the corner on the far side of the bar. My husband and I stuck to traditional cocktails, and old fashioned and a Negroni. Our friends chose signature cocktails: the Turbo Granny and the Electric Feel. Now the Electric Feel was not just a drink, it was an experience. Our server explained to our friend that he should sip a little of the drink, then chew the Szechuan buzz bud for about 15 seconds, letting it coat his whole tongue, then enjoy the rest of the drink which would taste different afterwards. Our friend went through all those steps and said it was incredible, like all the flavors were enhanced along with different sensations in his mouth, kind of numb and tingly. His wife was not satisfied with his description of the experience, so she bought a Szechuan buzz bud for $2 and she said it was kind of like pop rocks. These buzz bud looks just like a little flower bud like the end of a dandelion once the seeds are blown away. It comes from a plant. Totally fascinating! We enjoyed our one cocktail each here and just had great conversation. It was a fun night because of the company, and also because we had a little adventure going to two amazing places!

We decided on weekend brunch, especially since there were endless mimosas. Our kids have a recollection of being down the class umbrella alleyway, so they were amazed when they saw it. A short while later, we were in front of the restaurant and were quickly seated by the staff. They didn't ask if we preferred outdoor or indoor seating, but we were seated inside right next to the kitchen. We heard that indoor seating was better for service anyway. The interior of the restaurant was "very fancy," and my daughter thought we were in a date spot. We knew we wanted French fries and opted for the garlic Parmesan fries. At first, the kids were weirded out by the arugula, but my daughter ended up enjoying it, noting the bitter and salty notes. My son devoured the entire plate (not the arugula) and asked for another round. We also ordered the lemon ricotta French toast, made from Brioche bread, lemon blackberry butter, whipped lemon ricotta cream, blackberries, mint, and maple syrup. They perfected the crispy exterior, which contrasted well with the fluffy bread. My wife ordered the breakfast pizza--a focaccia pizza topped with marinara, ham, spinach, fresh tomato, red onion, a sunny-side-up egg, and herb-infused maple syrup. This was really delicious with the tart, fresh tomatoes, the salty ham, and the sweet maple syrup. I ended up eating the sunny-side egg by itself, so we didn't get to try the pizza with the egg. Lastly, I ordered the steak and eggs, but it was sadly a small portion. I ordered it medium rare, and it came out medium. The seasoning was a bit strange and would have been better with simple salt, pepper, and garlic. The mimomas really made my wife happy. She started feeling it pretty quickly. She chose the pineapple juice while I got the traditional orange. Not sure if the alcohol made the food better or the other way around. I was brought to reality when I saw the expensive bill, though.

Since we were seated at the table closest to the front door, in between the stairs, it was bothersome to have parties waiting to be seated right next to our table. Especially, when kids kept running up and down the stairs. They would also get in the way of the servers bringing food from the kitchen. Just seemed like an accident waiting to happen. What about the food?: Variety of options for either breakfast or lunch. I went with the crab cakes eggs benedict. Yes, my go-to. And my partner had the country benedict. You definitely get a lot for what you pay for. We both would have liked more sauce. Personally, I like my hollandiase with more tang. Ultimately, it was a satisfying meal but not necessarily something I craved to get again. But if i were to go back, I'd go with an omelet and something from the griddle. The service was attentive. We were given our drink orders right away and checked on multiple times. There was a busboy who was really attentive to fulfilling drink orders and cleaning tables once they became vacant. Amazing work ethic! Note: when you pay, you go up to the stand at the entrance to do so. Small parking lot shared with other shops, but there is some street parking. Although, we didnt go on a weekend so I imagine it's tough to find a spot during peak hours. Edited to add photos

I hadn't been in a few months, and decided to drop in this morning to eat, have coffee and edit photos on my laptop. During the several hours there, I got to overhear exchanges between customers and staff. The morning shift boys were young, but friendly. Let me tell you, once the day shift crew came on, the energy shifted. Andy, I HIGHLY recommend you replace the tall, thin guy with the glasses. The whole time he was there, he acted as if he didn't want to be there. He was rude, stand offish, and completely disregarded customers. As soon as he BLATANTLY ignored a female customer who was trying to have a conversation with him but gave attention to her male counterpart, I was over it. Listen, I get it, he might have not wanted to entertain someone's story. But customer service means to acknowledge the customer and treat them with respect. I can't even count the amount of times I've divulged in conversation with people I didn't want to, but I still treated them like a human. The woman was visibility upset about how off putting he was. I packed my things, went over to the woman and told her feelings were valid because he had been dismissive towards others ever since he came in. I know you're not going to care about my review, I know you're not going to lose much money if I never come back. But people need to aware what kind of employees are here. As for the food and coffee - The ingredients no longer taste fresh on the breakfast pizza. It tastes cheap and rushed. The iced vanilla latte I had was mid at best, I forced myself to finish it. Which is disappointing because I have loved both for years. I think the young boys need some better training on how to make coffee, but at least they were personable. The young guy with long curly hair - keep up that positive energy. You're gonna go somewhere. Highly recommend bringing Quay back full time, maybe make him a manager or part owner because every time I've been there and he's makes the pizzas, everything is He's a staple, and is clearly loved by all the customers who were happy to see him when he walked in. Also, maybe put the birch back on the empty corner wall, looks like someone ripped it off and it looks bad.
