I ordered the taro milk tea, it tasted like water with a little bit of flavor, I threw it out.

The 3 stars are very valid for this specific location. Out of all the boba spots I've been to, this Ding tea was the only shop who "can not" blend my drinks unless it's under slushi. Never had this issue with any boba spot especially not at a ding tea. Choose another location workers here will not accommodate you and clearly here for the paycheck. If you have a working blender and your customer wants his drink blended, guess what?! JUST DO IT and put it under "custom" charge for it IDC, you make slushees you can blend up my brown sugar milk tea into one. Had to settle for the caramel coffe drink which was not good, had POWDER COFFEE still inside not mixed right. Good luck to this joint, definitely not going to be in our boba rotation when in Fontana. read more

Other Ding Tea locations are phenomenal, but the workers at this location do not know how to make the teas. Every time I go, the way they make their teas isn't consistent and most of the time they're too sweet and concentrated. The golden boba is always good, it's just the teas that are never made right. Ding Tea Fontana is the only boba spot I go to in the IE. The drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, so 50-75% sugar is recommended for those that like a hint of sweet and want the flavor of tea to be highlighted. I've been going to this same spot for 2 years and it always delivers on consistency. The boba is always nice and chewy but not bubblegum chewy, it's always the perfect bite. I'd recommend this spot to someone that likes classic flavors of boba tea/milk tea as opposed to someone that's into more modern infusions and flavors of milk tea. read more

Today's experience was uncalled for. There's a guy that works there , I believe the only guy... he's heavy set. He has poor customer service skills , avoidant behavior & terrible phone etiquette . I went in today to pick up a phone order , I can see that my order is ready & I asked if I could just pay for it because I don't want it to get watered down while waiting since their AC is broken and he didn't answer me. I asked another girl and she said I'd have to wait in line. A CUSTOMER saw my frustration and allow me to get ahead in line. I paid for my items. I get half way home to see these white patches in my cup and it wasn't filled to the top. The other one I had was fine and filled to the top. So I had to go back and request a new one. One associate saw that I came back and whispered something to the guy and he looked at me. Then he went to the back and never came back to the front. A girl made a new one for me and said how it's a powder based drink and sometimes if the water isn't hot enough it doesn't dissolve it all the way... they were both made at the same time so why did one look different than the other ? Anywho I thanked her and left. I get home to give the drink for the person I got it for and it tasted like pure milk with a purple tint. This wasn't TARO. That girl intentionally screwed up my drink. It sucks cause I really like this place, it's the closest to my house however I'm sick and tired of dealing with half ass drinks , poor attitudes and treatment . We ordered the Thai tea and matcha milk tea. We can say they were 'OK' The tea~milk ratio was off, (seemed more water than tea) so they were both less flavorful. When they first opened they were so sweet and had great customer service as time has passed they have the worst customer service but because my son likes their Tea and I wanted to give them another shot I called in to order. I was put on hold 15 min and no one ever came to the phone, kept trying to call back and they disconnected the phone calls. I was just in town visiting and found this place and i'm so glad I did. They had a variety of items on their menu and the staff was on the quiet side but super friendly. We discovered this place after a recent doctor visit at Kaiser Permanente across the street. This place is located at the intersection of Valley Blvd and Sierra. It is right next to the Yoshinoya. We order the taro with boba and a strawberry green tea. Both were delicious and my family commented that the boba was just right and not too chewy and overcooked. They always run out of boba, this is like the 5th time I've called in an order. They said they close on the week days at 9:15pm and weekends at 10pm. They need to update their covid hours on yelp. I've been getting my Drinks not very sweet lately so I suggest you ask them to make it a tad bit sweeter due to the fact th at they are probably shorting out the actually continent of their product. I've been going to this store since they first open. This probably would give them a wake up call to realize that I have given this spot a review 2 stars.
