    The Connecticut and crab chips
    Danielle S.

I love me a food hall and this one is inside The Exchange. I got the Connecticut lobster roll and crab chips, it was delicious. If you haven't had a warm lobster roll in my opinion it's the way to go without all the extra fluff. The chips were good I wish they had a little more seasoning. This is a great first place to try if your coming to The Exchange.

Absolutely loved this spot. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The fish was perfectly crispy, the shrimp had great seasoning, and the salmon was tender and packed with flavor. The sauces tied everything together without overpowering the seafood, and the slaw added a nice crunch. You can tell quality ingredients are being used, and the portions were solid too. Simple setup, great food, and something I'd happily come back for. Highly recommend if you're craving tacos done right.

The Connecticut lobster roll was delicious! The knuckle meat was served hot with garlic butter and chives. This location was inside the exchange hall among a few restaurants in downtown Dallas. Service was especially friendly even at the end of the day.

FOOD INSTAGRAM: @northtx.gemz **** WHAT THEY'RE KNOWN FOR: all seafood! THE VIBE: classic food hall! Very spacious, reminds me of Legacy West food hall PRICE: $20 WOULD I COME BACK? Yes. **** Overall Rating: 9/10 - I've been to The Exchange Hall one other time and kept eyeing this place so I finally got to try it this time and was not disappointed. - They give you a choice of house made potato chips or skinny fries and ofc I love me some skinny fries! They were so good and addicting to eat. - The lobster grilled cheese was actually stuffed with so much lobster and was perfectly made and balanced with flavors. The sauce they gave on the side was great too. I do recommend sharing this with someone because it's a pretty hearty dish and wouldn't pack up well to go because it would get soggy. - customer service was great too!

Hot Crab Queso, Garlic Shrimp Taco, Baja Fish Taco So flavorful! The hot Crab queso is delicious and you can definitely taste the Crab in it, with nice chunks of Crab scattered in it. The baja fish taco was fantastic. Loved the garlic shrimp Taco especially--the pieces of shrimp were huge and tender, and I am by no means a shrimp person at all. The taco sizes are pretty large.

This restaurant is all things lobster and I cannot wait to go back! Their lobster is premium quality and priced pretty fair for how good it is. Highly recommend getting the lobster roll sampler as well as the lobster garlic fries. This is the perfect snack to enjoy when you visit downtown Dallas!

I tried this place for lunch at The Exchange with a coworker. It's set in a food hall that has tons of other options but fresh seafood was calling to me. I had the lobster grilled cheese and my coworker had "the Connecticut" lobster roll. We were both amazed with the quantity and freshness of our meals. I thought the amount of lobster in my grilled cheese was a lot more than most restaurants would've given. I really liked the house chips it came with on the side which tasted like they had just been made that day. My coworker said he liked his lobster roll, The Connecticut, particularly because it was served warm unlike most of the other rolls there. If you're looking for a great seafood lunch or dinner option in a more casual setting - this is a great spot!

The mocktail was delicious. Our crab fingers appetizers were in a tasty sauce. The salad could've used more flavor to it and fresher lettuce, but i appreciated the amount of Parmesan cheese on top. I personally thought the presentation of the salmon was too much and a bit odd. I wish there was more sauce (or at least a side of sauce). The risotto was too bland, but the brussel sprouts were tasty and lemony. The salmon had a great crust, but it was too undercooked for me and wasn't the best salmon I've had. The filet mignon was ordered medium rare, but too us it seemed a lot more rare and wasn't seasoned well. The mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was kind and helpful.

After a long day in transit, all we wanted was something deeply satisfying, the kind of meal that feels like a reward. When my mother suggested Aunt Irene's Kitchen, there was no hesitation. She spoke of it with the reverence reserved for places that become part of your personal geography former neighborhood staples, the kind you measure other meals against. Years ago, when she lived nearby, this was her spot. And now, standing beside her in a line that stretched out the door, it was clear we weren't the only ones holding onto that sentiment. The queue moved with surprising ease, a quiet efficiency that felt almost practiced. Inside, the energy was unpretentious and steady. Our cashier, while not particularly warm, was brisk and knowledgeable answering questions with the kind of clarity that suggests confidence in the product more than performance. We ordered simply: wings with fries, and two plates of fried fish with fries. The wings hadn't been part of the original plan, but a fellow patron mid-meal and visibly excited leaned over to insist. It felt like advice worth taking. And it was. The food arrived in its own time this is not a place for the impatient but what it lacked in speed, it more than made up for in flavor. The fish was crisp and tender, the wings richly seasoned, each bite layered with the kind of depth that doesn't rush itself. Then there was the jalapeño tucked alongside the plate like a quiet signature. It cut through the richness with a bright, deliberate heat, a small but memorable detail that elevated the entire experience. The dining room itself is modest and well-kept, with many opting to take their meals to-go or retreat to their cars. There's an ease to it all ample parking, friendly faces coming and going, a sense of community that lingers longer than the wait. Because that's the thing about places like this: they don't just feed you, they remind you why the wait was worth it.
