This is the only place that my wife will consistently get donuts from in San Diego. We've tried a few/lot of the other local donut shops, and always wish that we had went here instead. The donuts are is the quintessential fresh donut. Glazed, red velvet cake, blue berry cake, chocolate long john, maple long john, maple with bacon long john, and donut holes are always exactly how I expect a donut to be. I found this place while working at BD for a few weeks. Talk about a good sandwich. The Italian was perfect. To me, it is all about the bread. The bread had the east coast flavor that you only know if you are from back east. And they only use Boar's Head meats and the flavor was just right. Very good donuts if you get them anytime before 12pm. Soft and fresh. They are pricier than your regular "$0.79-0.99" donuts. They start at $1.25 and up but if you get them fresh, they're worth the extra quarter or so. They have bagels/sandwiches as well. read more

Decided to grab breakfast before i started work today. So I thought I would give this place a try. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese croissant thinking it was 3.50. When they finished and rung me up. Guess I was wrong and total came out to 5.66. Seriously!? They cooked da eggs and sausage in a microwave. I got to work and took one bite. Sundays after church, my husband and I sometimes take our daughter out for a doughnut date and we've been happy coming into Donut Touch. It's very clean and the staff is extremely nice. They have a wide variety of doughnuts and I can't help but order a doughnut for myself, rainbow sprinkles of course. This is my local donut place. I much prefer this to Krispy Kreme. These are good, basic, normal donuts, like I had when I was a kid.

I was here this morning and I feel bad that I haven't given this place a review until now. I love it when a place like this has been here like forever and the quality of food and service just get better every time. My husband and I have been going here since we moved to Mira Mesa in 1994, my kids practically grew up coming here. Anyway, their pastries are freshly baked and their doughnuts are very good. Bagels, croissants and muffins are never a day old. My family favorite is their bacon-egg & cheese croissant sandwich which is very reasonable price of $3.79 compared to other pricey places. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly. Through the years, they've added more to their menu, like gourmet coffee and fruit smoothies. Mira Mesa will not be the same without Donut Touch. read more

Maple bars. Try it, it's practically what they're known for. I didn't try the bagels (it's not called Bagel-Not, after all), and I wouldn't know from the coffee. It was hot and wasn't as expensive as Starbucks. I came here on a Friday morning around 8:30. I got half a dozen for $5.50. They were so good and so fresh. I don't usually like cake donuts but the blueberry donut and the red velvet with cream cheese frosting were my favorites. I also got the croissant egg and cheese sandwich and it was good too. Used a coupon from a mailer to get six free donuts or bagels with purchase of a dozen. From what I could tell, the donuts were tasty and so were the bagels. I got a good mix of a dozen bagels and six donuts. It came out to about 10 something with the coupon. I was happy with the taste and quality, but I don't know if I would want to come here without a coupon. The prices seemed a bit expensive to me. $10.00 for a dozen is more than I'd like to pay. read more
