I will put a zero but yelp doesn't allow it. I made an online order and rote down specific instructions for my pizza. Got my pizza delivered 20 min later and it was the way they wanted, not the way i requested. The manager said that he was not able to do anything and will have to contact the owner directly. After contacting the owner, they excuse saying that they never got the online instructions and that there was nothing they could do. Manager did not really offer any real solutions other than making the order again and paying it again. I was really exited to try their pizza out and have different options other than the big chains, i guess the big chains are big because they have a perfect costumer service. read more

Delivery is super fast! Food came in hot inside a nice box. As for the actual food- taste is ok- nothing that separates them from other pizza chain. I ordered through -Yelp Eat24- and my bill came up to $36.54 (excluding tip) - I ordered their special pizza, cinnamon Styx, and pepperoni roll - all for $21.99 then I just have to try their wings (8 pcs for $8.99). Delivery charge was $3.00 and $2.56 tax. Grand total of $36.54+ tip. The wings I ordered from Valero Marketplace in front of my apartment tasted so much better than theirs. Daniel Davis the owner of Double Dave's Pizza talked to an employee from our company outside of our business today because he was not happy that an employee from our company gave him an unsatisfactory review. He didn't come by to satisfy his customer, our employee, instead he stopped by to talk to the owner of the company where his customer works to leverage business ownership in the same building to force the employee, his customer, to remove the review. He gave our employee his business card and told him to have the owner of our company call him regarding the negative review. The owner of our company called Daniel Davis about his request. The employee from this company is also the Owners Daughter. When Daniel spoke with the owner of the employees company on the phone he said the owner should be ashamed of his daughter and that she was a liar because he had the tape. Our owner went to Double Dave's to talk with him and to see the tape where he claimed the customer lied. Daniel got angry and would not speak with him now claiming he didn't have this tape anymore. He than threatened the owner by saying we shouldn't be going back and forth with bad reviews. For us to receive a bad review it should be because we did work for him or gave him service of some sort. Yelp is not a forum for retaliation due to an employee of a company posting their dissatisfaction with his company's services. If Daniel Davis knew we had an employee who was dissatisfied with his service he should have delivered a treat and promised better service next time. He could have created a friendship and later when he felt comfortable ask for a better review. Strong arming customers by talking to their employers is not fair. Later finding out it's the owners daughter and telling him he should be ashamed of his daughter/employee because she is a liar then threatening to post reviews about his company as retaliation for not having his employee/daughter remove the review is not smart business. read more

This is the worst pizza place I have ever had in my life! The Hawaiian pizza tasted like it had freezer burn and the sauce tasted like Hunt's. I would compare the taste of the pizza to school pizza. I think Pizza Hut is better tasting and cheaper . The hot wings we got looked like it was shedding since the breading that they used didn't stick. The atmosphere is that of a sports bar, there are TV's lining the walls which was good for me because I like to watch sports. It was also nice and clean with friendly service. Unfortunately, there were no labels on the buffet so I couldn't be positive what pizza I was eating. Also, the food does not stay hot under the lamps so be sure to get it right when it comes out. Now to the food...The Pepperoni rolls, of course, were very good as they are the signature dish. The sauce on the Pizzas is not good, there was no flavor and it was sparsely applied. The crust was reminiscent of Little Ceasers. It was bland but also crunchy and cooked well. My favorites were the Stromboli, Macaroni, Cinnamon Roll, and Meat Lovers. Double daves and pizzaworks is pretty interesting place, interesting because the things that they do better are the works no the pizza. I would give the pizza 3 stars, not a good crisp to pie, no special seasoning, ect but their calzones, sandwiches or a different story. Their Stromboli are insane & a great value for the portion. They have this shiny buttery top thats crisp and has fresh herbs toasted on top. The marinara they serve with it, is nice tasting as well as the overall quality and flavoring of ingredients. My husband routinely orders anything they have philly cheesteak style and been very pleased with the gooey cheesiness & flavored steak. The thin crust pizza used to be fantastic....I've ordered it a couple dozen times. Just enough char in the crust to make it stand up it your hand. Now it's a floppy mess. It's like they are trying to rush it out the door. Delivery times are super fast. Take a few more minutes to actually cook the pizza. We have ordered delivery pizza from Double Dave's many times, and we pretty much order the same thing every time: two large pizzas, one vegetarian and one pepperoni, both on hand-tossed original crust. This is good, solid, what-you-want pizza. It's not trying to be gourmet pizza, like Fralo's, rather great quality traditional pizza. The crust and sauce have great flavor, and the hand-tossed crust is not too thick, not to thin. Each pie is covered with an ample amount of toppings. On my vegetarian, I have them swap out the banana peppers for double mushrooms, and they get it right every time. I appreciate that when I call they can immediately see my previous order and they ask if we want what we had last time. All I have to say is, "YES!" and I don't have to run through the whole order every time. Delivery times vary depending upon demand, of course, but they are always up front about the wait. I don't remember ever waiting more than an hour, and most of the time it is within 30 minutes. As long as we live in this area, this is our go-to pizza place. The staff was unfriendly, vacant, and just basically wishing they could be anywhere else but there. We even saw a roach crawling on the booth next to us!!!
