A good place for dim sum with a wide variety of good quality dishes. We were able to make a reservation ahead of time. Street parking is available and is free on Sundays. There is also a paid parking lot available nearby. They have a very large indoor seating area and you fill out a paper menu to give to the servers and some of the items have pictures. The inside is very clean and there is a good amount of space between tables. All of the dim sum that we ordered was cooked perfectly and had really good flavor. The tiger prawns were crisp on the outside and very tender on the inside. The prices are decent and the portion sizes for the noodle dishes were very generous. I would want to go back and try some more of their lunch specials the next time we go. read more

I got a reservation in advance for weekend dim sum with a friend, and it turned out to be the right move since the line was spilling out the door! The inside is really nicely decorated, and I can see it being a beautiful place to take a guest from out of town (mix of young people and families). There's a lot of variants on traditional dim sum items here - I got: * Crab roe shumai: yummy (though arguably pretty similar to normal shumai besides the roe on top) * Baked BBQ pork buns: probably my favorite of the day; really great and juicy meat with traditional cha-shiu flavor * Crispy skin pork belly: Interesting concept with good texture but got really heavy after eating a couple squares. The dipping sauce was good too but we couldn't finish it * Crispy milk roll: Really tasty dessert :) Crispy hollow shell on the outside and creamy inside. Hands down 10/10 best dim sum in SF. Easy to find parking, it's not loud and tables aren't crammed together. I know most would prefer koi palace, but IMO, koi palace is overrated. This place doesn't get enough credit for the dim sum they serve. Service is quick, though we do stand in line right when it opens on a Saturday. They did raise the price, but hey, you get what you pay for. Food is always phenomenal and unique compared to most dim sum places. My favorite not pictured: durian bun, siu mai, and roast pork. Came to Dragon Beaux to celebrate my graduation, and it was one of the most favorite restaurants I've had in San Francisco. The rainbow XLB were not only visually stunning but bursting with flavor -- each color had a unique filling, from earthy truffle to spicy Szechuan. The lobster noodles were decadent and perfectly cooked, with tender lobster meat and silky noodles soaked in rich sauce. I could have sworn I reviewed this place but it must have been a fever dream. I went to Dragon Beaux with some friends who came down from Marin and met me there. We were both able to find parking relatively close and relatively easily. I had more experience with koi palace because it was easier to get to, and figured the experience would be similar. It was similar, and the meal we had was good (one of my friends had no dim sum experience and the other was well versed). There were a couple things I didn't love (one of the veggie dishes and something else) and we skipped the rainbow colored soup dumplings that are super popular. Used to be one of my go to for dim sum for decade since they first open. It was rather disappointing on our last visit when my mom and son were visiting. We order quite a bit of food and as usual the food arrived promptly. Service was also good and everyone was friendly but somehow our entire family agreed that the food was off and it will as just okay. Especially for my son after being away from the bay area, he was expecting good dim sum and to have just " meh" as he called it was disappointing. There are too many other great places around so this probably will be our last time here after years of patronage. This spot is coo. It's nice and big with lots of booths. Food is pretty good but I think it got a lot of craze due to social media. Understandably so but I think they raised the prices because of it. You gon see a trend with my reviews that I'm a cheap ahh mofo. I originally gave it 5 but reduced it to 4 mainly because other spots blew me more away when the cost was way cheaper (Dim Sum Club on 32nd). Service is as always good at these spots. With so many options in SF, I would suggest eating somewhere else. We arrived for our 7pm reservation and were seated rather quickly and water was brought to the table immediately (strong start). We waited about 15 minutes for the waiter to take our order - all you can eat hot pot for 4. The waiter told us they were out of the spicy broth we ordered. Ugh. Disappointed, we ordered other options. About 10 minutes later they came by to "set up" the table for hot pot. 15 minutes later our vegetables arrived. 10 minuted later the meat arrived (about 7:40pm) - a very small platter with 6 thin pieces of beef (about 6 bites of meat for 4 people). 15 minutes later we were able to waive down the waiter and ask for more beef - 15 minutes later the waiter came by to ask if we wanted MORE beef, we pointed out that we never received the additional beef we order 15 minutes prior. 10 minutes later the next platter of beef arrived (about 8:30pm)... and the waiter tells us it's LAST CALL for the kitchen! We had been there an hour and a half and had barely gotten any food. I will point out they literally just sat a large group next to us - how were they supposed to order from a kitchen that was closing? Very good food! The Xiao long bao were excellent and super flavorful. In the future I would get one of the 5 colored dumpling samplers per person to try all of them. The lava egg bun was my favorite item, absolutely delicious. The ambiance is upscale and nice with high ceilings and nice booths. Quick little valentines dinner reservation last night! Food came out super quickly and everything was very well seasoned! Portion size for the dumplings were a little on the smaller size but the taste was really good, we came with 3 people so it was a good amount for us! The Wagyu beef fried rice though had PLENTY! We have leftovers for today and it'll still be delicious even reheated. The interior is actually quite large with a lot of big banquet tables with lazy Susan's but if you're coming with a large party, a reservation would probably be the way to go! Very average Chinese fare and only 1 of the 3 entrees we ordered would be considered good. The orange chicken had a very unusual flavor to it. It wasn't inedible but certainly seemed off. We were seated in a booth that was directly under a very cold ventilation duct and there seemed to be a faint unpleasant odor at the entrance. The soup dumplings and shiu mai were excellent all around. The leaf wrapped sticky rice was decent. The honey pepper wings were phenomenal, nice and crunchy. This spot checks all the boxes for me - authenticity, quality, novelty. I love coming here for dim sum on the weekends. I've tried several of their dim sum dishes, and each one has come out fresh and flavorful each time. This is also a spot that I like to bring my friends/parents to for dinner because it feels elevated while still staying authentic. They took away empty plates without having to ask, and our orders were served fast and hot on arrival. Food 5/5 dim sum tasted fresh, not heavy or oily, filling portions where you still want more. We are back after 1 month for Father's Day and it's still the kids' favorite dim sum restaurant! Also, rsvp is a must and they are very prompt with seating and answering phone calls. Nice place for dim sum although it can get busy and parking can be tough. Service was standard for an Asian restaurant. Decor is actually quite nice in there. Onto the most important part... the food! I feel that SF dim sum has really declined post-COVID but Dragon Beaux does seem to be relatively better (although it still won't knock your socks off). I recommend trying the pork xiao long bao (no need to get the 5 color one), jumbo shiu mai, baked bbq pork bao, and pan seared daikon cake. A lot of the other standard dim sum dishes are fine as well, including shrimp rice crepe roll and stuffed eggplant. Things that I wouldn't order again are the durian puff (too oily and heavy, would rather eat straight up durian), steamed egg yolk lava bao (a little too sweet and is lacking in salted egg yolk flavor), xo pan seared rice crepe roll (flavorless, not enough xo sauce), pan-seared black pepper wagyu beef bao (looks and sounds more flavorful than it is), sautéed spare ribs with sweet and sour sauce (meat is not tender). read more

Came here for their a la carte hot pot. Pretty decent spot, a little on the expensive side for a la carte. I got 4 meats, 3 vegetables, and an order of ramen and the bill came out to about $100 so it probably would have been worth it to just choose the ayce option ($46). They have an extensive menu and are more known for their dimsum so would be interested to try that. The quality of the meats were good and the soup base was as well. I have not physically visited them since 2018 but felt like the price has gone down against inflation after the pandemic. The restaurant is located in inner Richmond which is not the easiest place to park, especially on the weekend. Every time I drove by, there are always large crowd in front, by the door etc. so that should be an indicator of a positive papular opinion of the place. I am not sure about their waiting service or the reception so not going to comment on it. Their food is packaged well, has a ton of main ingredients and tastes superb. Ambiance is better if you have a large party and get seated with more privacy. I am always going solo hence why I UberEats obsessed. Price is relatively low compared with the jam packed ingredients and nice, cantonese style dim sum favors with the kind of expenses in the Bay Area. I ordered the crab roe shiu mai, classic shrimp dumplings, custard crystal dumplings, seabass dumplings, and organic crispy milk rolls. Since I ordered through Uber Eats, I reheated the dumplings and air-fried the organic crispy milk rolls to enhance their crispiness. At my age, it is hard to find something new. I've never heard of sand storm crab before. It was a deep fried crab with cilantro, minced garlic, scallions, peppers and fermented black beans. Fermented black beans is typically used in dishes like stir-fried clams. The sand storm crab was not bad. It was really oily. Still, tasty nevertheless. The other two dishes we had were the seafood crispy noodles $24 and honey pepper wings $13. Both were OK. The bonus was the free unexpected ice cream at the end of the meal.
