OK, first off, parking is insanely difficult so if you can ride share over. The tables are individual pots, and the round seats double as your storage container. You order via the QR code at the end of the table/ Have a few soup options, but it appears they all use chicken stock as their soup base. What is impressive is the food quality here. Once you order, the meat comes quickly and the quality is top notch fresh. The wagyu, ribeye, pork belly and the rest of the meat was excellent but their must try is their fresh fish paste. In addition, they have a salad bar where you can get your own veggies. Lots of fresh vegetables including my favorite lotus roots, wide assortment of mushrooms, various noodle options, some friend food, a sauce creation station, self serve drink station to round it out. As with all hotpot, the success lies in fresh quality meat and veggies and the different ingredients to create your own dipping sauce; and this restaurant got it all. This place does get busy but the staff here are friendly and always with a smile.

I see a lot of comments about people wanting to gate keep this restaurant. Honestly, I get it. It's really damn good. Had a lot of friends recommend this place to me and a group of us finally went. The food is phenomenal and the service is phenomenal. When it comes to AYCE hot pot, I think service can make or break your experience. I really like the variety they offer and the server was super funny haha. It's great to go somewhere you feel welcome. Will be back soon.

90 min max at tables which is sufficient time to eat as much as you want and to finish your beers. I like that you only have to wait 5 minutes to place your next order. Service is so fast and staff is so pleasant. Most importantly the quality of the meats is very good. The all you can eat price for adults is $35 and very worth it. The sauce bar also has veggies and seafood so you can pick what you want and not have to overcommit. Overall, really enjoyed the meal. I will say, the stools did not look comfortable but you don't really notice that they don't have a back when you're leaning forward over your individual pot.

Dessert! (I think) Chinese donut with condensed milk - super good

Been here twice now, once last year (would've rated 3.5 stars), and came Feb 26, 2026 and will now give it 4 stars! They updated all the tables so everyone gets an individual soup pot. I prefer this because it's easier to manage your own pot/food that is cooking! Came with a group of 7. I think the biggest group size that can fit at one table is 8, so it worked great. You can call to make a reservation, not sure if there's a table size minimum, but I originally had a res for 6, which turned into 8, and then one person didn't show...My only advice about the table / seating situation is that for the big tables along the wall like ours, it was bench seating or stool seating. I wish the stools had been chairs because my back started hurting since I was slouching with no back to my chair (stool). The dinner price was 34.99 for AYCE. I like this place because they have a fridge where you can grab water and one of the tea options is free. Other drinks you have to purchase like soda, beer, or soju. There's a nice sauce bar (I loved the house sauce)! Then the bar also has veggies, noodles, and there's a lot of seafood to be cooked. You order from the QR code on your table. Heads up if you order just broth first, they make you wait 5 minutes between orders. It's probably easiest if you have 1-2 people do all the ordering. Once you order, the meats come out super fast. Everything was good but some of my faves were the Wagyu, toro, and brisket. I usually prefer the more marbled beef options. I went with the Chinese herbal broth because I like to start with simple broth and drink some at the end after all the meat juice has been cooked in it. We didn't order chicken, and I think we only ordered pork once. We had the lamb, but it wasn't my favorite. I'd stick with the beef options here, and grab seafood from the bar. The fish filet was also a fave from the seafood bar. We came on a Thursday night which was decently busy but nothing like a weekend. If you want a more chill night, go on a weeknight. Weekends get busy, and they will probably be more strict on time limit, which I think is 90 minutes. My group had about 90 minutes of ordering food, but we stopped and were able to sit and chat for a bit after since no one was waiting for a table. Service is quick and friendly. Whenever we ordered more food, it came out within a couple of minutes. They walk around to offer more broth. The table burners are deep in the table which we concluded was to help avoid splashing. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because sometimes the cuts of meat seemed a little inconsistent. One of the brisket orders we got were really tiny pieces. Even our server noted that when he told us what each meat was. And depending on how busy they are, sometimes they told us what each meat was and sometimes they didn't. It's not a big deal because I'll eat anything, but it was helpful to know so I would know what I actually like and want to reorder. Would definitely come back again!

We had a party of 8 and got individual pots. The tomato broth was very tangy and tasty. It can get quite busy towards the end of the night. The service here was really good, all the workers were attentive with taking away plates and all the meats that were ordered via the QR code all came out at a timely manner. They had some appetizers up in the front that you could grab, as well as all the veggies and fishballs etc. I enjoyed the variety and liked the fried buns for dessert.

Have the opportunity to come and eat at the pot before had to bring my partner and their service animal because the restaurant had a service animals allowed signed postage in the front. We got there, and we were immediately denied service and ignored by staff very unfortunate and very dismissive and rude for those and not disability inclusive will not be coming back and advise anybody who do have a service animal to not bother coming either.

My friend and I came here before heading to a Warriors game. Hot pot is one of our favorite meals, and he suggested this place. The wait was only about five minutes, which was great. The restaurant itself is much smaller than other hot pot spots I've been to. I understand that they needed to add more tables and chairs and divide tables when seating different parties, but it did make the dining experience feel very close and a bit tight, with little personal space between guests. There were many soup base options, and we chose the Tonkotsu and Spicy Tonkotsu. I do wish the spicy broth had more of a kick--it was a bit lacking in heat--but the flavor was still very good. For meats, we ordered our usual favorites: wagyu beef, taro, prime beef, pork belly, and kutoboto. One unique option we hadn't seen before was red wine beef belly, and it was absolutely delicious. The red wine flavor is strong, but since one of my favorite KBBQ items is red wine pork belly, this was right up my alley. The walk-up veggie bar was a big plus. They did run out of enoki mushrooms and hadn't restocked them, but when we asked if they were out for the lunch hour, they immediately refilled them without hesitation. The sauce bar also had a great variety of sauces to choose from. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. We did have to flag down our server because our meat orders hadn't come out, but they apologized and brought everything right away. Even after we had already paid, I asked for another order of donuts, and they happily let us enjoy that last-minute dessert.

For $35 AYCE hotpot, it's a nice place in the city. Located in sunset away from the busiest streets, it's not hard to find parking. I've been here twice, and there's always been a bit of a wait, but tables move quickly. You may have to share a table with others if you have a small party, but they put up dividers in between. Service is very friendly and attentive! I heard them greet a few regulars during both visits. There's a buffet for most vegetables, carbs, seafood, proteins, and non-sliced meats. What sets this place apart are the handmade noodles! I don't always remember to add carbs to my hotpot meals, but I can't pass them up - they have a great bounce and chew. Another plus is the fruit tea, Thai tea, and water pitchers in the fridge for you to grab whenever you please. When you're seated, the menu and ordering for certain items are from the QR code - you can submit orders every 5 minutes. It's convenient, but I've noticed there are differing options offered each time - the server explained that they may be out of items and take them off the system, so it was a little disappointing since I couldn't order tofu and shrimp paste my second time around. The broths are very tasty overall, especially the pork bone broth. Would note however, the spicy broth has a more pronounced herb flavor than other restaurants. Overall, would recommend this place for this area. If you pay with cash, there's a slight discount.

Came here for dinner with a friend during the week. Was about half full and we got seated quickly. The service is super friendly here, although I wish they'd give more than just a single napkin without asking- hot pot is messy! So the process is pretty straightforward. You order via an app to get your choice of broth, meats/proteins, drinks, and desserts. For everything else (dips, a few hot food items, and veggies), you go up to the area in the back. There's also a fridge in the back where you get large bottles of water, tea, and carrot juice! The back area had a bunch of veggie options- enoki and king mushrooms, bok choy, Napa cabbage, kombucha squash and more! Additionally, there were a bunch of noodle and rice cake options, as well as kimchi, sliced jalapeños, green onions, and cilantro. It's not as extensive as I believe it used to be per the menu pictures from a few years back, but this felt more streamlined and was enough for me. Besides, this way I was able to eat enoki mushrooms (my favorite) without having to constantly order more. There were a decent selection of meats. The wagyu beef was my favorite (shocker, right?), but they had a variety of beef, lamb, pork, and chicken (only one chicken option- would've liked more though). They also had options to add eggs, frozen dumplings, and some seafood option. Get the hot glazed donuts at the end. They are exceptional, especially when warm. I'll definitely be back!

Some really good shabu shabu in SF! We arrived on a Monday night around 6:45 and were sat immediately. There's lots of seating and they can accommodate all party sizes. Everything was clean, from the seating and tables to the self-serve station. The man who took our order was very nice and friendly. The meats and broth came out very quickly. The selection isn't as wide as other places I've been to, but it's pretty solid and covers everything you need. What I liked the most was the drink options! There's a fridge of pitchers full of teas like fruit teas and Thai tea, and you're free to grab as much as you want for your table.

TL;DR AyCE buffet style hot pot, the food quality and selection wise, Everything was just okay. I didn't love the limited sauce bar selection but the meats were good. Service was really good and friendly though and everything was clean. However if you're a germaphobe prob want to stay away from this buffet style AYCE hotpots. I think they changed owners because everything was just a little off compared to when I came last time which was a few years ago. My main issue with this place is the sauce bar... there's too few options to mix up the concoction that suits your tastebuds and I felt like while all the dishes were decent, I couldn't get flavor profile to be right bc I'm not one of those ppl who just dip in soy sauce. The sesame paste was lackluster and there was no satay sauce. I thought these would be staples yet not available. The AYCE menu was fine. The meat was decently fresh and service quick to bring more over. The buffet style for the veggies and meat/fish balls were fine and you can choose how much you want rather than having waiter bring these over anyway so I appreciated the option to grab your own. However for sanitary reasons it's kinda weird but since you're boiling anyway it prob doesn't matter and you can just try not to think abt it too much if you're a germaphobe I would say stay away. Though the staff does keep the buffet area very clean and stocked so that's not the worst thing. Another weird thing was the chocolate desserts. While I appreciated them providing it, The way it's setup in the buffet with tongs didn't really make ppl use the tongs and for sanitary reasons I would not opt in for any as this would obviously not be boiled. I saw some kids just use their bare hands to grab the chocolates and it was gross tbh.

Came here for lunch on our day trip for my daughter's 16th birthday. The service was beyond amazing! Staff was so friendly and kind, taking the time to explain everything to us. The restaurant is so cute and clean! The food is fresh and amazing flavor. We will absolutely be retuning when we come to the city again.

Wow, it's been forever since I've been here--pre-COVID days! So glad I finally made it back. Everything was clean, and the staff are so nice! Ordering is a breeze: scan the barcode, tap what you want, and boom--food at your table. The meats were fresh and flavorful, the seafood and veggies were endless, and the sauce bar? Chef's kiss. All this for $35 AYCE is a steal. Pretty sure there wasn't even a time limit, so if we weren't so full, we could've kept eating for hours. Definitely coming back!

Quality/Quantity - We had a large group, thank you for accommodating. I believe we made reservations, where we would not be seated until everyone showed up. Good thing the group all showed up on time (for once, lol). Ordered the following for our table, our other table had our larger half of the group. But due to the door mishap, I did not want to walk over to take pictures of their food/order. Okonomiyaki Fries - Was too soggy for me, but everyone else on our table enjoyed it. Popcorn Salmon - I did not enjoy this, but everyone else on both tables loved it, so it was "a me problem." Boneless Fried Chicken - I enjoyed it, but no one else did?!?! I guess I have very different tastes from this group...? Tonkatsu Ramen - Good. But very basic. Beef Short Rib Plate - Three orders, both people enjoyed it. Actually, our young eater ate 1.5 of this plate, 1/2 from his mom's order. This order also came with a side salad and steamed rice. Bulgogi Plate - I can't remember if I got my rice?!?! Well, the beef was of decent quantity, I actually brought a little back home for leftovers, with the boneless fried chicken. At home, it was a little too salty, too much soy sauce. Sizzling Bibimbap - My daughter's dish which was also good. I believe she had leftovers. Our other table got the regular bibimbap, they said next time they will try the sizzling as they felt that was better. Lastly, our guest on the other table ordered one of each dessert for both tables. Mango Panna Cotta & Chocolate Tartufo - I am not a chocolate person, but enjoyed the Tartufo better. Our guest wanted Soju! The first time, so we ended up ordering two hot larges. Smooth and went down too easily. I then finished my meal with a Ballast Point Sculpin IPA. Boy I miss this beer, I have not had in a while. Too busy supporting local breweries. Overall, the food was just okay for me and my daughter. Ambiance - Outside looks good, and new. Love the menus and the happy hour information. Might come back for HH. Small local restaurant. A few tables and bar seating. Clean restrooms, two unisex. Street metered parking, free after 6pm. Plenty of street parking. Service - Okay, the front door has issues... It stays open, then does NOT close. It is slanted, so you have to "force" it to close. When we ALL got here, I guess we left the front door open by accident. Well, the waitress did NOT appreciate that (I stayed outside taking my Yelp pictures while everyone else walked in). She gave me a LOOK... While I was still outside, more people came in and I tried to close the door for them and because the door is slanted, it did not close and had to be "forced" resulting in a slam, sorry. Got another look... After that, I went straight to my seat. Menus on the table. Price - Expensive, or did we order too much? I think our bill with tax and tip came out to almost $800. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2017; look forward to trying your happy hour.

Everything -- from food to service, to ambience -- was EXCELLENT through and through. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a wait staff immediately. We were seated at a bar height table as requested. And throughout the evening, the wait staff was helpful, courteous and attentive. They did not miss a beat in offering us water refill, checking on us, or changing our plates. Excellent service!! Between the three of us, we offered a variety of appetizer and dishes; what stands out is the quality of their ingredients, and the sophistication and perfection in their usage of spices, creating excellent and balanced flavors. * Spring Roll wrap - A must order dish. Perfectly fried spring roll with lettuce wrap and spiced dipping sauce. Excellent! * Clay Pot rice - I really like the clay pot rice here. They use Chinese sausage and the flavorful pork neck meat, over fragrant jasmine rice.. it was cooked for perfection and packed with flavors. Note, their clay pot rice does not come with crispy rice bottom, but just ask if you want it. ;) * Beef Tartare- excellent flavor and soft fresh beef tartare... so good! * Blue Shrimp Ceviche - another dish that highlights their culinary expertise. Sashimi- grade blue shrimp in their special sauce.. well balanced flavor and just perfect! * A highlight was definitely their sake and cocktail list... they have plenty of good drinks here. My default is their Lychee Drink and the blue bottle sake. Always a good choice and Le Soleil offers the perfect setting for great friends to gather and have a few drinks! Por laos - I really liked it. Highly recommend if you want a twist of the typical spring rolls. Chicken satay - it's one of the best ones I have, especially from a restaurant at this price point. The chicken breast was on the slightly thicker side, which give us a meaty and satisfying satay. The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy and tender. And they served with the spot on satay sauce. I do wish we get more cucumber salad though. But that's more like my personal preference. Soft shell crab - this is the dish that really won us over. I was so worried that the curry will be too spicy for our table. But apparently the staff made the adjustment for us when they saw us coming with two young kids. Kudos for that! We arrived about an hour before closing, and quite a few menu items had already sold out. Our server was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely apologetic about the limited availability, even though it was completely understandable given the time. He made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the meal. We ordered the Classic Trio, which includes an appetizer, hot pot soup, and a main dish. For the appetizer, we chose Mama Mu's chicken wings, and they were absolutely phenomenal. They were coated in garlic, fish sauce, and a delicious glaze that hit the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and umami. Easily one of the highlights of the meal. For the hot pot, we went with the tom yum soup. It was sour, spicy, tomato-forward, and packed with a nice amount of heat. My only critique was that the meat portion was a little sparse, especially since we paid extra for the wagyu beef. Our main dish was the Pad Thai, which came topped with an egg omelet, chicken and tofu. It was a solid Pad Thai--though not the standout dish of the night. For dessert, we ordered the mango sticky rice and wow. The blue rice was perfectly sweet, rich, and coated in coconut goodness. It was the perfect way to end the meal. Between the warm hospitality, cozy atmosphere, and yum dishes, Mama Mu's Bistro is a Thai spot we'd happily return to.

Finding a nearby spot on Noriega is almost like hitting the lotto on Sunday. Service is a bit on the slow side because there was only one person doing everything at the front of the house. I am amazed he didn't go insane. Note there are really 2 restaurants here so depending on which menu you order from. I believe its Thai and Malaysian/Singaporean. I ordered the Bangkok $15.00. That's Sautéed ground protein of your choice with basil and chile. Even the "mild" has a bit of a punch. There is a side of blue rice that helps cut some of the heat. The rice is topped with a fried kind of over medium egg. Overall its a really good dish. Just be warned about the heat. The lunch specials all come with iced tea and tom yum soup. I had a bit of my Wife's soup...its really flavorful. A bit of sour offset by the earthiness of cilantro. There is only a single unisex bathroom, but its clean and well stocked. Very roomy and well lit. I will definitely come back... quality to cost ratio is definitely on the High Value side.

Oakland I was sold on but I hadn't found a spot in San Francisco that I could definitively say was phenomenal (Admittedly, I still need to check out the spots in the Tenderloin) That was until I found this place. I can confidently say that Yummy Yummy has the best pho I've found in San Francisco to date. I found this place by coincidence after moving to the inner sunset. The Inner Sunset is a hub for great Vietnamese food but Yummy Yummy was a name that was thrown around in the conversation as one of the better places to get pho. And it does not dissapoint. Since finding it, my girlfriend and I have been here numerous times and it has been awesome every time. I've so far tried several noodle soup dishes (Pho, Bun Bo hue, peanut noodles soup, mi hoahn thahn) and everything has been great. Their appetizers and non soup based food are also excellent. They also have an extensive vegetarian menu which many places do not. On top of the quality food, service here is exceptional and friendly. So glad I can finally say I have a favorite pho spot in SF. In my book, this is definitely a must visit if you are in the area.

I know from past experience that the crab dishes are great. I don't know why they were shut down for a while a few years back, but I'm glad they're back. Servers were friendly and helpful. Place was packed on a Sunday night.

Well, I decided to look for something different than my usual favorite food and I decided to go to try some Cambodian food and I picked this lovely little spot in Ocean Avenue, so far away from my house. It was my lucky day, the food was delicious, fresh and made from scratch with a glass of great white wine and , SO IMPORTANT to me a lovely service, starting with a warm welcome smile from the owner and then with the outstanding kind service at my table from the young gentleman named (I think) Ethan. Now this little gem became one of my destinations. Great job beautiful people at Megan's Table!

Today's dinner had a few dishes that were standout and a few that tasted good but had a bit too many ideas going on. Fried shrimp and sweet potato appetizer - this was my favorite dish tonight, the shrimp shells were fried crispy, and I've never seen it paired with sweet potato, but I love a fried sweet potato. Filet mignon and divers scallops - this dish had way too many ideas going on, I think if it was pared down it would be more cohesive. However this was my mom's favorite. The dish had lap cheung (Chinese sausage) which I thought was a tomato at first, pate, a unique-looking fried egg that was yolk, then white, then yellow on top of rice, scallops, onions, Laughing Cow cheese, served with a thick slice of milk bread. The scallops were huge and tasty, but felt out of place and were overpowered if you ate it with the pate. Without it, the rest of the dish would have made more sense to me as a take on a "steak and eggs" breakfast. The braised oxtail was a really innovative take on bo kho. It was like Vietnamese lasagna, with a sheet of rice noodle layered on top of baked Bolognese sauce. The rice noodle had a cilantro sauce, but it was hard to tell or taste when you mixed it with the tomato sauce. It was served with bread and shallot aoili, and while the aioli was absolutely delicious, I didn't understand where I was supposed to eat it with the dish. I made sure to take it home though for another use. This was my dad's favorite. The fried whole fish was solid as usual, though pretty pricey. I've gotten this every time and I don't remember if the accompaniments are always the same, but I think the sauce was. Tonight's dinner got the highest praise from my parents - "expensive but worth it"!!

We gave it to him again and he still managed to not get the entire order. Came back with one drink and forgot about the other. Reminded him again. He also missed the iced coffees to go at the end so I would say the mandatory 20% charge on service was not deserved at all. Very disappointing Father's Day sit in meal.
