We went here around dinner rush time and the place was empty. We ordered two drinks and it was a hit or miss kind of things when it comes to the flavor. Won't be back here again..the star rating review was misleading

    Strawberry Fresh Milk Boba
    Patrick Z.

Got the strawberry fresh milk boba which I thought would have some sort of tea in it but I'm pretty sure it was just strawberry puree and milk which I guess I shouldve understood by the name of the drink but usually at other boba places the drinks with the same name have some tea in it too. Idk it was pretty good for the first half but by the second half all the strawberry was gone so I was just drinking milk by itself

price - $7 including tax food - 5/5 service - 4/5 ambiance - 3.5/5 located around the World Trade Center, I decided to stop by dragon tea and get their passionfruit jasmine green tea as I was craving a sweet drink. the drink was nice and sweet but it wasnt the artificial flavoring. I can tell they use real fruit in their beverages because it's not syrupy in comparison to other boba shops! the service was pretty nice as well, but nothing too exceptional. the cashier and bobarista was really nice and sweet. she made my order almost immediately and swiftly! she definitely made the experience better than I expected. the ambiance was alright, but nothing too exceptional. there are a few chairs for customers to sit on and enjoy the view nearby. I like how they played Kpop music within the store, so that was definitely a vibe! If youre nearby, i highly recommend checking this place out!

Good simple bubble tea. Had the thai ice bubble tea...good not great. Right next door to Bao Bao Cafe so can sample some good Chinese food and drink together.

Dragon Tea Fantastic Taiwan Bubble Tea My niece and I have been loyal fans of Dragon Tea for the past two years, and we're still completely obsessed! Lately, we've been going three days in a row, and every visit reminds us why we love this place so much. They offer a huge variety of flavors, and everything we've tried has been amazing. Our favorites so far: Strawberry Matcha Latte Passion Fruit Jasmine Green Tea Classic Jasmine Green Tea Bubble Milk Tea We always load up on toppings, and the tapioca balls are perfect--chewy, fresh, and totally addictive. The staff is super friendly and helpful. On one visit, the gentleman who helped us accidentally forgot the tapioca balls, but he apologized sincerely, and the next staff member went above and beyond to make it right with extra toppings and great service. That kind of care really makes a difference. We're planning to keep coming back all summer to try even more flavors. After two years, it still feels like a treat every time. If you're a bubble tea lover, Dragon Tea is a must-visit. Hands down one of the best in the city!

    $8.06: Mango milk foam

I typically don't review bubble tea places because I just get taro slushies everywhere I go and have no real authority, but the customer service at Dragon Tea was excellent! I dropped by on a Wednesday evening since I had business in the area. The shop is tiny and only seats two people, with standing room for two more people. I originally got a taro slushie ($8.50). After handing me my drink, the cashier told me that I could try the drink, and if I didn't like it, they would make me another drink at no additional cost. Now, the taro slushie is one of the more expensive things on the menu, but I appreciated the gesture. Since they are using real taro and not a mix, the slushie really had no flavor. I was grateful they let me switch to a mango milk foam ($8.06). The slush consistency uses fine ice, and I enjoy that. The mango had some floral notes in it, which is not my preference, but it was fine. The boba was slightly hard in the center, but was otherwise chewy and sweet. The employee was super attentive, and really wanted to make sure I had a good experience! I would recommend supporting Dragon Tea if you're in the area.

Came here due to thirst after a long walk from the Liberty island. It's was a pretty hot today. Only 1 Tea made it to the photo shoot. If you like pearls with your drink this place has a soft sweet chewy tapiocas. Try this place if you're in the area.

Stopped by after dinner for a quick dessert. The store front is small and there's not much seating. The worker was nice and made my order quickly. I got the lemon tea with mini taro balls. The tea was tart and the tea flavor came through. I liked how this place had taro balls too and not just the usual toppings. The taro balls were chewy and added a nice texture. Definitely going to come back here!

Small space but friendly service. Only two chairs so don't plan to stay and relax. But the product is great.

Decent tea place in the area. We stopped by since it was by our hotel room. The service is quick and the teas are refreshing. I would come back again!

Cute little boba shop in FiDi! I got the Passion Fruit Green Tea with less sugar. The tea was very refreshing and the passion fruit syrup tasted fresh. The first time I visited they gave me a cute fabric boba holder. The person I spoke to there was very nice as well.

Dropped in to tide us over to dinner. We ordered a strawberry lemonade with boba and a taro fresh milk with small taro balls. OMG! The boba are cooked perfectly. The lemonade truly delicious with fresh strawberries, even at 50% sweet. I'm not usually big on anything except boba, but took the suggestion of the taro balls. Wow! Yum! So excellent. Wonderful find!

Passion fruit jasmine green tea & assam black tea
    Gillian A.

A little too much of a good thing in the passion fruit jasmine green tea. Lots of real passion fruit pulp in the drink but so much that I barely tasted the green tea and it nullified my 50% sweetness request (pretty tart drink). The assam black tea, another drink that I tried, tasted of high quality tea though. Eh, a miss and a hit. I'd say not a bad boba spot if you're in a pinch and not overly picky.

We had the raspberry tart and the milk cloud cake. Price points were very high, even for midtown pastries. I enjoyed the milk cloud cake because of the black tea infused cream really came through. The other bits in it were not as impressive--the small chocolate bits were dry and this viscous layer in it (tapioca?) lacked taste. The raspberry tart was very adorable with two macarons. The tart shell was a bit dry and crumbly, but if you like raspberry the flavor does come through in the filling. The staff weren't warm in any way, but we're in midtown which tends to be hectic, and we were there at the end of the day so it's not a dealbreaker or anything really egregious. The place isn't very spacious for seating, so unless you're coming at a time that isn't busy, you might not get a seat/I'd plan around getting your sweets to go. That was no problem for me this time around, though. Overall this place is cute, and if you're looking for an Asian-inspired treat in midtown before a broadway show (Wicked is nearby) this could be an option for you. I just wouldn't expect it to particularly standout in terms of price and quality.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
