I purchased a 2024 GMC Hummer SUV from these guys last week. Purchasing a vehicle and dealing with car salesmen has never been a smooth or stress free process. I talked to 10+ other dealerships trying to make a deal, but it didn't work out because of the huge "market adjustment" that was being added, pure greed. I saw that this dealership had the model I wanted, so I called and talked to Faisal to make a deal. We hammered out a deal pretty quickly, without any of the "market adjustment" BS. We did most of the paperwork over email, pretty simple process. I live about 350 miles away, so I flew into Oakland, took the train to Dublin where Faisal picked me up. I've never been to a dealership service center that cannot guarantee a service. For something that I have an appointment for and should take an hour it takes three hours. For a repair they won't guarantee it'll be completed within the day. They "have" loaner cars but will tell you repeatedly that none are available. Ive been in numerous times and they're never available. They will never tell me if any are expected to be available. My job and family life does not afford me the luxury to sit around without a car while waiting for a service that might take two days. One goes to the Buick dealership expecting better service than this. It should not be such an inconvenience. Additionally, I spoke with the sales department about getting a quote on my cars resale value. They checked out my car, told me they'd call the next day, but I never heard back.. it's been months. It's becoming almost comical if it wasn't such a nuisance. I bought a Buick expecting MUCH better service than this. They promise you the world when buying the car but when you need service it's hit or miss. I needed oil change so made appointment for early sat 8:20 am. Drove 40 mins for oil change just to be told "oh some people called sick and we can't get it done till 5pm" shouldn't you notify customers before they come there? The only day off and I'm supposed to spend it 40 mins away from family at the dealership? Horrible, will never go to dealership for anything and will never buy a car with them again. For simple oil change, I even asked can you at least get it done in 3 hrs and he said no.... Buying from Dublin GMC was a great experience. However there service and maintenance department needs some work. We bought a 2024 gmc AT4X learned a few months after we bought it the AC had a problem. And needed parts replaced. They scheduled an appointment with us. We arrived for the appointment. To learn the appointment is to check it in not for the work ! We were told on the phone it would be 1 hour to fix and to now be told 4-5 hours. The employees that check you in don't acknowledge anyone waiting, have zero urgency. As I stood there waiting and observing I watched as they took people out of order. It's really sad you pay a lot of money to be treated so poorly. read more

UPDATE! I just picked up my car, and had a nice talk with Ernie Avalos, Service Manager. We talked about what happened, and where things went wrong. I was wrong about the door taking on/retaining rain water. The problem was the drain outlet was blocked. I had no idea there was a drain opening! As for the other problems, we talked through it all and all problems have been resolved. My money is being refunded, and they are also replacing a tire monitor as a courtesy! Very much appreciated, so thank you, Ernie! So my review has gone from a one star to a five star, and with appreciation to the service department and also to Kirby, my guy that gave me rides to and from! I brought my GMC SUV in for a recall repair. not only did they not do the repair correctly, they broke the panel driver door and blamed me for it! I took it to my neighborhood repair shop, and they diagnosed the problem for a charge of $168.00 (fair price). they wrote down a concise report as to what was wrong with the module. back to GMC, show them the report and the charge, leave them the car, and was given a ride home ( great guy, Kirby!) The repair to the module consisted of pressing the reset button. They sent the car to a company that would fix my door (no charge). Finally get my car back, buttons work, door panel is no longer hanging.... However, a day or so after the storms, my door is now taking on water! So much that I can hear the water sloshing back and forth!! but it won't drain.. Back to GMC, I changed the repair date BACK one day, dropped it off early. This morning (a day AFTER the repair day), I get a call saying I missed my appointment. I called back and left a message that they have my car somewhere and I hope they find it. They did call back saying they found my car, but did not leave an update on the repair. I've asked for reimbursement of the $168.00 that I had to pay out, but so far nothing has been approved. Purchased a new 2024 Envista Avenir, had the vehicle for two months and the AC condenser went out and the windows on driver side will not go down with this extreme heat. Dropped car off on Saturday and was instructed that vehicle would be seen by a technician on Monday. Advisor reached out Monday and informed us of AC condenser being out and needed to be replaced. Replacement would take two weeks to get as it is on back order, totally understandable. I asked about the window situation and he stated that it was not written on complaint slip, which I made sure it was written down and that technician had just walked away from vehicle to check the issue with the windows and was asked on a scale from 1-10 how many times I had to push the button for window to go down... Advisor called back and stated that indeed window didn't go down and they would have a technician take a look at it on Tuesday. Tuesday came around and no phone call from advisor with any status on vehicle. I proceeded to call and kept getting sent to a voicemail which you do not know whom you are leaving a message with. I called back and asked to speak with service manager and was sent to another voicemail box, I did not leave a message as no names are given at any time.. I called back and was sent directly to another voicemail box, I had to call from a different number so they could take my call. Male that answered phone and I let him know I wanted to talk to service manager due to not being able to speak to anyone in regards to my car, I let him know that the window regulator was supposed to be repaired and he stated part was going to be delivered at 5:00pm that day but that techs weren't going to be able to fix the issue as they leave at 5:00pm. Today is now Wednesday and once again I had to call my advisor to find out the status of the vehicle and his only reply was to the Ac condenser. I told him I knew the time frame of when the condenser was going to be delivered but that I wanted to know the status on the window regulator. He then notified me that regulator had to be ordered and that it might possibly come in on Thursday. I let him know how dissatisfied I was with customer service and that I would like to speak to manager, his response to me was "I promise to call you tomorrow by noon". I would do no stars if I could. I bought my 2021 1500 brand new truck in March 2022 with 5 miles on it. Love my truck. I've had weird engine light stuff since I've gotten it so the GMC dealer here in Carson City has been helping me with that. They just found out that the brand new engine in my truck had had its lifters replaced BEFORE I bought the truck with non GMC parts! Dublin GMC is the SHADIEST CAR DEALER IVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. PREVIOUSLY, we bought another GMC truck from them, and I was told it had the towing package on it when it didn't. This company is BAD news! DO NOT GO HERE! They are liars & do shady things. Every time I've had to bring the truck in for maintenance, I call first call the dealer to make a service appointment. 1) All service calls made by customers are directed to a 3rd party who don't work at the dealer and don't seem to know anything.. 2) The call center representative offers to takes my information, and tell me that someone from the GMC Dublin service department will call me back the same day. 3) I've called multiple times for the same issue and have never received a call back from the service department.. 4) The last time I called, I stated that I haven't received a call back and they transferred me to the service managers number directly.. it went to voicemail (during business hours). I left a message for him explaining that I'd been waiting for 2 weeks for a call back and to call me back that day. I never heard anything back from him or anyone else at the dealer. Net/net: As a result, I've had to select another dealer to service my vehicle since Dublin GMC has made does not. read more
