Why did I not learn my lesson the first time?!!! I came to this Buick Service Center out of convenience but NEVER again. I knew I should have went to San Jose Buick like I had done the previous time because of horrible service. Service Advisor, J. accused me of lying, b.s'd me every time we spoke over the phone, overcharged me, talked bad about me to another employee in earshot distance, and wasted my entire day (9:15am-5pm). Overall, bad customer service and ineffective communication. Needless to say I was pissed when I finally left the dealership. Being honest and having integrity goes a long way. I drove down to buy the truck and they said that it is wrong price BUT THE TRUCK IS STILL ADVERTISED and has been advertising for over a month. Marcelo was my sales associate. At first, he was very kind and patient with me. As we began talking numbers, I can tell he began to get frustrated but still remained professional. I was by myself, a woman, purchasing a car. I began to feel like he was trying to take advantage of me. He constantly became insistent on things I did not want such as a warranty which I understand his point of view of the extra protection but it was not in my price range. As he continue to insist, I felt like he was going to get commission for additional ad on. I could be wrong but that was how I began to feel. I asked to pause the process just to let my husband see the car in person as we are an hour and some change away. I planned on getting the car. we started the process about 95% done. He became upset, and said the car price will increase if I did not finalize the deal. I texted the next day asking for updates on the car since it is being serviced and checked for maintenance. He let me know it was going to be finished today. I am trying to make arrangements to get the car, no text. Christian from upper management was very respectful and understanding on my part while supporting both parties. He assured that the car will be on hold for me without any increase on the car cost. I bought a GMC Sierra this last week. I spent a good amount of time looking around at all the the GMC dealerships in the bay area. I was contacted by several internet managers but must say working with Harry Sidhu was the best experience across all of the dealerships. He was responsive to all of my inquiries and did a great job finding the truck I wanted. We decided on working with GMC Dublin because of his ability to listen to our requirements and do the best job to offer multiple options of inventory. I was also impressed with the dealerships time to close the deal and get us out. Lenny the finance manager was pleasant to deal with as he did not try to force anything on us when closing the deal. With past experience they usually try to tack on warranty and service plans to increase their sales. Also, I got pre-approved with my credit union so there were no games with the financing. We also spoke with the general manager who wanted to ensure we received the best experience with our purchase and I had no complaints. The dealership followed all covid procedures to ensure safety for all. Although the inventory was low due to trucks selling fast because of employee pricing and rebates, there were several more trucks coming in the following days allowing in case our needs were not met. Luckily for us, there was 1 GMC Sierra 1500 elevation left which we drove home with. I would definitely recommend working with Harry who is very knowledgable on the product, will take care of you, do his best to find the right car or truck for you and not pressure you on any decision. read more
