Last weekend I was in town from Southern California to visit my dad for Father's Day. Had a terrible experience with this dealership which I feel compelled to warn other prospective buyers about. First, I was a previously satisfied customer with the purchase of my 2017 1500 Sierra Denali. I was so impressed with the salesman I worked with, Chad, that I recommended my daughter purchase a 2017 Acadia SLT. I scheduled the test drive/purchase for 9:30 a.m. on Sunday 2-14-17. However, I was contacted by Chad and told the sales manager Joe allowed the vehicle to be sold the night before, stating, "Well he is not here now." So much for honoring customer loyalty. Since the dealership does not honor the commitments of their sales staff, I will not refer anyone else to the dealership nor will I purchase another vehicle from them. Thanks for your lack of customer loyalty Joe! Perhaps if Chad works somewhere else, I might do business with him again. I certainly do not recommend this dealership to others. The sales manager did not give us the opportunity to make a deposit, so the answer about not being able to "hold" the vehicle without a deposit does not work here. No effort was made to help out. Nothing can be done now to correct the situation. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service in the service center. I would never, ever recommend this service center to anyone. I purchased my 2021 Acadia from this dealership last February. Because I had a great sales experience with Ali, I figured that the other part of their business would be great too. Well shame on me for assuming. I have had my vehicle serviced here about 5 times and each time was a bad experience. Let's start with the fact that you have to leave your vehicle there for the entire day because they are unable to make a commitment on when they can have your service completed. When you make an "appointment", it is the time that you will speak to a service advisor NOT the time your vehicle service is planned for. Clearly someone here lacks scheduling skills. Then no one greets you when you walk into the office. In fact, there is one guy who I have seen on multiple occasions just sitting there on his computer with no customer and, on one specific occasion, he was looking at his cell phone and talking to another employee about something he was planning to do to his own vehicle. Meanwhile I'm standing there waiting for anyone to say hi, be with you in a moment, go to hell, something! Moving on to the actual vehicle service, my oil changes have been ok since that is such a basic service and there is nothing spectacular to do there. But the last time I got my tires rotated, my tire sensors ended up being mixed up. I only knew this because I had a low air pressure message on my dashboard that wouldn't go away after putting air in the tire that was indicated because my tire sensors were not on the correct tires. I spent a lot of time in the rain at night at the gas station trying to figure out which tire actually needed air. I also had my radio unit replaced because I was told that my radio went bad after trying to do a software update. Now some months later, I'm having an issue with the "new" unit that was installed. The straw that broke the camels back for me is related to when I went in a few months back to get a new tire. I spoke with a service advisor who ordered a new tire for me and called me when the tire arrived so that we can set an "appointment" for getting the tire installed. I dropped my vehicle off on the date and time that we scheduled (which was early in the morning) and asked if they could have the work completed by 1:00 PM because I had a personal commitment later that afternoon. When I called to check the status around 1:00 PM, I was told that they were working on my vehicle at that very moment and that I could head over there for pickup because they would be done by the time I got there. I arrived at the dealership around 2:45 PM, walked into the office, unacknowledged for about 10 minutes, and (when someone finally decided to help me) I was told that they were looking for my car keys. I waited 15 minutes and watched a couple of employees come in and out "looking for my keys". When I finally asked what was going on, one of the guys goes out to the service area and comes back, whispers something to another employee, then tells me that they are still looking for my keys. Finally my service advisor comes in and tells me that my tire had not been installed yet and that the tire was just sitting next to my vehicle (which I have a feeling the previous guy knew and that's what he was whispering about but then kept the lie going to me). In between all of this activity, Joe Mesa, the general manager, came into the office and was casually leaning back against some cabinets, not helping with anything and not trying to figure out how to get me taken care of. I just told my service advisor to forget it and I would get my tire replaced somewhere else. I missed my son's basketball game that day messing around with this place. I called the dealership a couple weeks later because I needed an oil change and wanted to get my radio looked at but I wanted to let Joe know my previous experiences and get some commitment from him on making sure I have a better experience - you know, trying to give him a chance to show me something different. I got the run around over the phone for 2 days where either Joe wasn't in or people kept transferring my call back and forth. When I finally did get in touch with Joe, he promised to personally oversee the work that I needed done and to call me back after a meeting that he was on the way into. Today is January 12, 2023 and I have yet for Joe to call me back from his 9:30 AM meeting on December 7, 2022. Since then, I've gone to GMC Hilltop as a walk-in and got my oil changed within an hour after the service advisor greeted me with a friendly attitude and a willingness to take care of my needs. The 1 star is for the nice ladies who drive the shuttle vans. read more

Yesterday my review would have been missing four stars. But last night thanks to Amanda at the service center, my experience was completely turned around. We planned a Thanksgiving vacation to Southern California and two days before leaving our truck engine went out. It was towed to the service center and we were told it would be 24-48 hours to have it back. Cutting it close, but we could make it work. Not until Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 did we get a call that it wouldn't be repaired in time and would take a couple of weeks to get parts. They offered a courtesy vehicle but we needed the truck because we were towing our travel trailer. We were told that the rental had to be through Enterprise and had to be a GMC vehicle. And due to the holiday, EVERYTHING was rented. Initially I didn't believe Amanda and called every Enterprise within a 2 hour drive and sure enough, nothing. I spent the next two and a half hours trying to escalate the issue with GMC customer service. The 3 people I spoke with were definitely outside the US and just serving as a buffer for our specialist, Amber. But we were told she would get back to us within 1-2 business days. Which meant not until the Friday after Thanksgiving. We got to the repair center Tuesday night at 5:30 to take the rental they did have for us, an Acadia. I was devastated and frantically trying to find a hotel or VRBO that was available with pets and try to get back my non-refundable reservation at the RV park. I was a complete pain in the ass and incredibly emotional because I felt like my vacation was ruined. Amanda said to give her a little bit of time and she was going to try to see if she could work something out. It was probably past her shift but she was on the phone wandering the lot trying to find something we could tow with. Forty-five minutes later she pulled up in a Chevy Silverado that I never thought I would be so happy to drive. I am SO appreciative to Amanda and the other service team members who were patient and sympathetic with me. I am now in Southern California and am finding so many thinks to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. read more
