The rice was cooked perfectly, the seafood was fresh, the sausage slices were great additions, but the chicken was the star of the show. We'd recommend the fried plantains, the pork mango salad was "write home about" good, and the Cuban sandwich was delicious in the fresh bread with melted cheese, slaw and special sauce. For desert you have to get the churro a la mode, 4 crunchy churros stuck in creamy vanilla bean ice cream drizzled in carmel sauce. Back for more! My parents are here and this restaurant is one of their favorite restaurants in town. It's a cute place and super cozy. The owner is funny and friendly. He is hilarious. Anyway.. lets talk about the real reason why we came back here again and again. The food! This time we ordered a bunch of stuff! And everyone of them are perfection. We ordered the in-house white queso. We scraped every oz of that queso from that bowl because it was that delicious. We also ordered empanada and plantain appetizers. AMAZING. I knew that I had to come try the food here if they have so many five-star reviews! My husband was craving cheese enchiladas and I will never turn down paella if I can order it, so we stopped in. They have patio seats under the covered awning that would be so wonderful on a nice day and a row of intimate four-seat tables inside. They also serve drinks, beer, and wine at the bar! We started with an order of maduros, delicious fried and roasted plantains. My husband ordered the cheese enchiladas, which came on a bed of soft, yellow rice alongside black beans. I ordered the regular paella and it came out on a hot, sizzling skillet smelling so divine! I loved how the pieces of rice at the bottom became crisp as I ate the paella from the top and added a lovely flavor and texture the the food. If you haven't been here yet... what are you doing with your life? I was introduced to this hidden gem last year and have been coming frequently ever since. My only regret is that I wish I had known about this family-owned establishment a lot sooner. It never fails that I always leave feeling extra stuffed because well, my eyes are bigger than my stomach and I order off the menu like it's going to be my last meal. Ambiance is cozy and warm and service is always stellar. Aside from their exceptional food, one of the main reason why I love coming here is because I'm always greeted and welcomed with open arms as if I'm just coming to dinner at my family's home. It definitely has the "Cheers" vibe where everybody knows your name. The yucca fries, shrimp tacos and paella Valenciana are my favorite must-haves every time I come. Definitely recommended and will not disappoint. I will update this review with photos at my next visit. Good food and service at E B Latin Bistro. We had the Paella Del Mar, it was ok, but could have used a bit more seasoning that the paella takes; won't be ordering it again. We also ordered the Ropa Vieja sandwich, comes with yellow rice and black beans; sadly not a lot of meat on the sandwich, but it was good, the rice it came with was the same as the paella rice only without the seafood, guess that is why the paella did not have the seasoning the paella takes. We will try something else next time we go. Outdoor dining, some tables are under a covered area and others have large umbrellas. Plenty of free parking. Yesterday I had the most amazing time at E B Latin Bistro! From the welcoming and friendly customer service experience to the delicious and flavorful food, I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem! Ari and Ivan made me feel so welcomed from the moment I walked in, I felt right at home and like I'd known them for years. I ordered the Ropa Vieja and E B Sangria, both were fantastic along with the chips and salsa. Everything was so fresh and authentic! I have been here once before and it was just as good as I remember.  I got the veggie cuban sandwich which I have never found anywhere else before as it is hard to find vegetarian cuban sandwich.  The sandwich was very flavorful and tasty it came with rice and beans.  I will be back soon to try other dishes. read more

Delicious food and homey atmosphere! My Paella Valenciana was very filling with generous portions of chicken, chorizo, shrimp and calamari - all cooked to juicy tenderness. He took one half to-go because it was so filling, and even scooped up the rice with it though he normally doesn't like rice. We had the seafood made for the paella to pair with our veggies because we have to do low carb. Mr John is great at helping us work around the menu. It was a wonderful choice! Hubby LOVES seafood and this was a great way to enjoy the Latin flavors without the carb load!! And we really appreciated all the variety of seafood in this dish! I ordered the fried yucca appetizer, which the menu says comes with garlic dipping sauce. It actually comes with an aioli (mayonnaise) and I've really never seen yucca served this way before. I could not eat the dipping sauce as I don't eat mayonnaise. The yucca itself didn't really taste like yucca. It tasted more like a yucca potato blend. Either that or it was a very low quality frozen product. For the entrée, I ordered the paella. What they served me was more like arroz con pollo. It had no saffron flavor at all (or any flavor besides salt), very little chicken, no vegetables. The rice tasted kind of like an instant rice mix. They should really not call this paella. Given how many far better and more authentic Latin restaurants are in the area, I would not return as they are among the worser that I've tried lately. read more

John made some fabulous recommendations, we cant wait to go back! We started off with the empanadas, stuffed with delicious beef filling, it came with an amazing jalapeno sauce. Definitely ask for extra, it goes well with all the food that they serve. Just a hint of spiciness. Next, we had the shrimp tacos, great flavor and very filling. I would recommend to ask them to heat up the tortilla. Arroz con pollo was delicious as well. Packed with so much flavor! Loved the spices and onion , it tied everything together. The chicken was cooked perfectly, flavorful and tender. Definitely want to dip the chicken in the jalapeno sauce. Pallela del mar was my favorite, lots of seafood and it was packed with flavor. My husband had read the great reviews about the food here and so we decided to check it out even though we do not live close to it. I so wanted to like it but thiee food just wasn't that great. Just not a whole lot of flavor to it. I had a sangria and it seemed like it had some type of cinnamon or clove spice in it which was too strong and overpowered the the drink. I picked this place for lunch with the girls because several of us have gone to Spain and fell in love with paella. This place reportedly has some delicious varieties of paella that we simply had to try. The seating is limited, so plan for that. The chips are really delicious and the salsa is fresh. So enjoy, but not too much. Leave room for other things. We started with some yucca fries and fried plantains. They were both tasty. But that was nothing compared to the main meal. I had the shrimp tacos. Those were the best I've ever had. I'm definitely coming back for those. The marinade on the shrimp was phenomenal. Fair warning, they are a little spicy. The seafood paella was the variety that two of us ordered. You can get it for one or for two and share. That is apparently one of their most popular dishes and for good reason. Very tasty and not salty. Yah! Only one of us didn't get a seafood related dish. She ordered the steak. I didn't try that, but she said it was delicious. There was so much of it, that she ended up taking part of it home. Then we had to order some dessert. The churros came with ice cream. Delicious. And two of us had the specialty coffee.
